You need to read the book "Devious Devices: Devious Chastity Belts" and then you unlock a bunch of device crafts and a few key crafts. The book is part of the plugin "Devious Devices - Integration.esm". These include as far as I'm aware: Chastity Key Simple Skeleton Key Piercing Removal Tool Iron Piercings (Nipples) (I think) Plug (Iron) (Anal) 1 Plug (Iron) (Vaginal (I think each for 1 iron ingot.) The book is usually only available via console, but a few mods, like "Unforgiving Skyrim" and "Rubber Facility" (and probably more that I don't know about) make it accessible. One thing I might want instead is simply making the book craftable. (Maybe leather strips, paper and/or a key as part of the recipe.) That would be nice. Edited January 1 by Vollkornstulle 2

Yes, I'm aware that other mods offer Devious Device and Devious Key crafting recipes. In addition to the ones you mentioned, I know that Deviously Accessible adds some crafting recipes. I tried to ensure little to no overlap between this mod and those other options. For example, my mod's recipes use Steel Ingot for the basic DD keys. That means the other crafting recipes are still useful, since they use Iron Ingot, which are less expensive than Steel Ingot.

I use Unforgiving Skyrim, which makes Simple Slavery trigger when you attempt to access that bookshelf outside a specific US quest.

It's always been the first thing I do on starting a new game, and if you don't cheat, at the game's outset it can involve a tricky trip to Winterhold to get the books and learn the crafting recipes, both for keys and some DDs. But your mod will now give the option to get keys from the Get-Go, even if, as you say, they're a bit pricier, so that can only be an improvement! So many thanks for doing this, particularly as it sounds less hassle than some of the 'vendor type' mods But Urag's quest, coupled with @DocClox Zaz Crafting mod, also gave a pretty good selection of DD and Zaz restraints available to be crafted overall from a fresh game start too So, taking your current DD key crafting into account, might you maybe consider making some of the DD restraints also available as crafting options for those that don't want to do the Urag quest? - maybe with an 'off' switch for those that don't want to be able to craft the restraints. Or even maybe just an additional crafting mod dedicated to DD (+Zaz?) restraint crafting? One of the main problems with playing with a DOM or PAHE based game is, actually, just that lack of craftable DD Restraints, and the current limited range of the craftable ZaZ ones, from the ranges that are available in the base mods. Sure, you can bring the current omissions into your game with 'AddItemMenu', but that feels like cheating! In fact, to avoid making the game too easy, I make my player craft 2x something similar that can be made from the existing menus, and then 'throw them away', if I want to add any similar items that require that sort of cheating. But then, I don't like to play 'easy' games, without any real challenge. The streams running past the blacksmiths' forges are full of these discarded items! That was probably TLDR; but would you consider expanding your mod/available 'menus', especially to include the items that the others don't include? I'd have tried using SSEEdit to add constructibles to the other mods if I knew what I was doing, but even that's beyond my skill level 😊 Best wishes for this one, and 2026 DQW 2

I like the idea of having recipes for keys while at the same time having them not be dirt cheap. 😄 But I "abandoned" DCL some time ago and replaced it with a mixed setup of Devious Curses and Deviously Enchanted Chests.

I did some testing with a Level 1 character with just the default smithing skill and no Steel Crafting perk, and the DD keys are immediately craftable as long as you have a Steel Ingot in your inventory. Please refer to the screenshots that I just added to the mod's main page. Here is one example: Spoiler Did you have a Steel Ingot in your inventory? Do you have some other crafting overhaul mod installed that changes how crafting works?

I've included the Mod References and some suggestions as the crafting materials menus I've put it all into a txt file, attached, and it should all be fairly self explanatory. Obviously, it's for you to pick and choose from as you wish, or even feel inclined to add into your mod. I appreciated your willingness to consider adding things and I have tried to keep this as short and basic as possible, but I appreciate that everyone can be limited on time, and enthusiasm! Sorry it took me longer than I had hoped, but things are busy right now Hope it's of some use to you, anyway EDIT: BTW, this does NOT include anything from DCL. I love Kimy's mod and have played it through more often than I could count, and it has some unique items, but it doesn't seem to be getting as much use as it did.
