mitsumidi Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 I use Silent horizon ENB /Ultra tex ( disable most othsettings and shadow at medium i believe) with around 100 mods ( no 4k texture tho, 2k mostly), and it didnt eat my fps at all ( got a crappy gtx980ti- and it didnt look crap in game at all lol ) also SE have many no loading door house mod that dont exist in oldrims, and a few very cool combat mod : Tempest, rapid slash, freestyle katana, etc that also only available for SE only, and also yeah, lots and lots of good armor/weapon mod didnt get port, but i guess i can endure it, as i already learn how to port simple mods. DovahKya Posted December 27, 2019 Posted December 27, 2019 Eihei Spot! https://eiheispot1.blog.fc2.com/?tag=CBBE&page=0 I think this isn't on the list, (it's not an english site) It's not a site where you can download mods, It's a site that shows a lot of mods and redirect you to where you can download it. Maybe it helps.
Tinkering Solderbro Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 Last weeks Nexus are in heavy discussions about their mod bundles. For some users that may look pretty and easy, to install a whole bunch in one single task. But let's think you get this enforced bundle and one of the mods inside conflicts with a special mod from LL, you have to decide which to ignore. I see also bloat packages are coming up, that may praise photo realistic fans but slam people who like to play without ctd, lag and thawing papyrus. The balance between pretty and playable is the deal, good to handle with single installable mods. These days i even use aisa and russian pages with browser translation tools to get single mods. Too my mod archive @home is growing, before some of them are packed and not available as single mod. We will see the outcome of that. 1
lbloo Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 A pretty good list i must say, here my litte contribution

TheTraveler Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 can someone help me figure out the password to this mod? https://arca.live/b/tullius/40236014 Tried copying and pasting it into the box that appears when trying to install it but no go. I cannot properly convey how aggravating it is to find something I want to install and it has a password lock to keep you from even installing it.
pulledpork Posted March 27, 2024 Posted March 27, 2024 Thank you for this post too. It is very detailed and helps me move forward

Though here at Lovers Lab, we have the best forums! Some of the sites below have some great mods not found on Nexus!! Please, don't ignore the (non-english) sites just because you can't read them. You'll miss tons of mods not found anywhere else!! So, here are a few of the NON-Nexus places to get mods. (Add to them if you see one not listed.) Lovers LAB!! ( Of course, number one! and I don't have to provide a link, because you're HERE!!!) MODDB - Skyrim - Some mods that everyone is familiar with are also found here (and not linked to Nexus like GEMS.) Curse - Skyrim - In the old days of World of Warcraft I used to get addons from this site, and they have some Skyrim mods, some older ones that haven't been updated and don't seem to have any 'heirs'. Meaning, maybe a modder might see a good old mod on Curse and bring back a mod that doesn't have a predecessor. Skyrim Modtype: (Japanese): Unique Mods here! Great site for finding weapon mods, body and clothing mods and some unique hair styles for you Skyrim characters! Also has links to several other sites with mods and animations.(has a message that Mods here not uploaded to Skyrim Nexus) Contributed by: corespore JackGa Shop - Non-English Site, cool mods and very interesting!! Halo's Mods - A very cool site, has some great mods I haven't seen before. The Elder Scrolls General - After looking into this site it has links to other Mod sites as well as having information on Lore and other things. A good 'start' guide for adding mods and the use of various tools. A Must checkout! "I've heard others say the same" - Not sure if that is the site name or not, but its a blogspot blog with some unique mods on them. Contributed by: D_ManXX2 Wolflore - A forums very much like LL, not exclusive with Skyrim, some RPG stuff,, even a Tolkien corner. Not a "Adult Content" site, but from my short visit, it looks like a fun place. Contributed by: Ragna_Rok TES Alliance - Skyrim, Fallout, Oblivion and Morrowind mods... I found quite a few mods NOT on Nexus here as well as mods that aren't (Nexus Exclusive). A Must checkout! Dark Creations - '..an Elder Scrolls modding community, providing free hosting services to mod projects and a place for all modders to share knowledge & ideas." <- I liked the site layout. Thank you RR! SkyrimForge - "SkyrimForge is a site by modders, for modders. Our goal is to provide you, the author, the tools you need and a better user experience in order to make your life easier." Mods Reloaded - Here's a site that has a lot of mods, some that you won't even find on Nexus! Check it out! Contributed by: SpyderArachnid Jacoblyl2003 blog: A big collection of stuff, and a lot of rare stuff that you can't find anymore. Michinoku Oblivion/Skyrim blog: A popular one used by a lot of people here, full of some great armors and such. Don't know the name: Another great site with some rare armors and such, and their own links too. Haishao's Blog: Of course a great place, home of the Elly and Lamp Follower. Also has links to a few other popular sites too. Ghost in the Skyrim: Don't go here much anymore, but still has some great stuff. Bagserk's Site: The original creator of XVision Children. Has some other neat stuff as well. Modtype: Last but not least, can't forget this site. Always some neat stuff. Contributed by: Smokermegadrive Tesall.Ru: A russian page with tons of mods for many bethesda games Contributed by: « Broken ‡ Mirror » 3DMGame.net Linked directly to their Skyrim Mod Sub-section. Please note: Entire website is Chinese. Forum titles will have mod names in it sometimes. Translator is recommended for Non-Chinese speakers/readers. Contributed by: turbosnowy Dragonporn Fansite Blog (Japanese) with Mods and Comments. Pretty neat. Contributed by: crealogica Tick Talk A really interesting site, I think it's Korean, but some nice mods! Please take a look at it!!! Contributed by: Amox Brainsperm's Blog: (Japanese). Lots of Great poses and mods, plus many really cool textures and stuff for anime style gameplay If you don't know Brainsperm's name, you should. His poses and use of FNIS probably inspired many of the unique and interesting animations for Skyrim (Sex). "He's also one of the big reasons that I play Skyrim now. I saw pictures of his poses from within the game and was inspired. Great site. I can't believe I missed this one. Thanks Amox!" Contributed by: cornbreadtm Mods by Elysees: A very neat multi-media site, with action pack animation mods for Skyrim. Best viewed on a wideband connection, it will blow your mind. Contributed by: conkec1993 Skyrim Mod Database: (Japanese) i think.... Another good place for mods, some that you know very well. After just a quick look, I noticed several mods that I haven't seen before. Please mark this one down to "check it out!". SkyPhantom: (Japanese) Another cool site, lots of body and armor mods. UNPB 7BASE CSHBC conversions, found my favorite armor mod for the Daedric Armor set here! Contributed by: afa369 Modgames.Net: (Russian) site with links to many games mods, some unique armors and weapons. Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout New Vegas.... even if you don't speak Russian, it's a nice site! For our German 'flavor'. (Contrib: Ragna_Rok) Site in German for mods and Skyrim/Oblivion and Morrowind... "World of Elderscrolls" says it all.. Nehrim: TC OF OBLIVION: http://www.sureai.de/projects/nehrim/ Arktwend: TC OF MORROWIND: http://www.sureai.de...jects/arktwend/ Enderal: TC OF SKYRIM ---> WIP; NOT FINISHED YET http://www.sureai.de/projects/enderal/ thank you!
