Eikichi Onizuka Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 As the title suggests, what are your favorite mods, those considered among the best..?
Koko.Hekmatyar Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Pretty much anything released by CaBaL120 is a instant favorite for Me.

mclericp Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Everything. I cant find a way to single out my favourite mods because i need them all. Though i have to say, requiem and witcher 2 overhaul are amazing. I also use the fantasy soundtrack project, which replaces all boring vanilla music. The new songtracks are GREAT. I even heard the songtrack from the trailer of Project Copernicus, a very huge potential MMO that got scraped due to funding
cornbreadtm Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I'd have stopped playing if it wasn't for: Unofficial Skyrim Patches SPERG - Skyrim Perk Enhancement and Rebalanced Gameplay Book Covers Skyrim Skyrim Project Optimization Interesting NPCs Skyrim Immersive Creatures Racemenu Apocalypse - The spell package Sexlab Ultimate Combat ASIS Amazing Follower Tweaks
PandaSong Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Usually anything that adds something interesting or pretty. I found some of these late last year when I started playing again.. and simply can't think of playing Skyrim without them. UNP/UNPBSGHairsImmersive Creatures Vilkas and Farkas TairenSoul EditionInteresting NPCsSilverfish GrottoWearable LanternsThe Hundreds of Texture Mods
Guest corespore Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Interesting enough most of my mods remove things, fog, kill moves, no sneak attack sound, shadows ,and ambient interior fog. Then next are the animation replacers, followed by patches. But my must have mods that actually add things are Alternate start Apocalypse spells KD circlets redone. Lockpick pro Mage backpack (with backpacks extended add-on) Customizable camera (an absolute MUST have for me) Wyrmstooth Right now im also testing Racemenu and a ton of plugins for it., i switched to UNP not to long ago and i'm still trying to find that perfect look. And up until this last play-through i was using the dwemer jar house. It was a player home that fit in your pocket and had every crafting station inside. I replaced it with the inkwell house during this last play-through, it's much smaller but i love it! I only used the player homes and hearthfire to get the trophy because i much prefer the player homes i can carry with me.
Guest Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Alternate start (fuck the vanilla start with it's cave spiders ) ECE/CME (just couldn't play the game without it anymore) T3nd0's Skyrim Redone (provides some actual RPG character talent customization...not the joke that Bethesda gave us) Enhanced Animation or Immersive Animations (to fix some of the rather bad looking animations *cough* dual wield *cough*) Dual Sheath Redux (why the fuck wasn't this in the vanilla game?) Ningheim Race (Has the most useful racial abilities and whenever I want to play a different character I just tweak it) Season's of Skyrim (Or I would just stand in town all day because vanilla Skyrim's environments look boring) Solstheim Climate Overhaul (same as the previous one, although not nearly as bad as Skyrim) Interesting NPCs (no need to explain why) UNP/UNPBO Cabal's textures Skyrim Immersive Creatures I probably got more "essential" mods than others because alot about vanilla Skyrim just pisses me off. When it comes to screnshots, which take up more of my "Skyrim time" than actually playing the game, I'd have to add some ENBs & Pinup Poser.
itt1968 Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 UNPetite/UNPB (love 'em both) Weapons of the third Era Race Menu Coverwoman for UNP Better Vampires Levelers Tower (endless storage and good lighting for screeny's) Bathing Beauty's Luxury Suite a good follower mod and nowadays.... Sexlab, Aroused and Lovers Comfort.
fuseyzero Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Alternate Start (installed first even before I played vanilla) Frost Fall Water Get Snowy/Ash Immersive Weapons/Armor UNP Populated Series (a series of mods that adds npc to towns, cities, dungeons, etc...) Children replacer mod (currently using TK Children but I skykids children replacer looks promising. I hope there is a way to combine the two actually.) I'm trying SkyRe and it looks good so far so I might be adding it to my list.
Guest Ragna_Rok Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 all the stuff i ever made... its the stuff i thought the games missing, couldnt find it, so i learned how to do it and filled the gaps. feel free to visit my "Forge" ... *points at signature* .... i also highly recommend (not in order): shroud of jotunheim, wyrmstooth, blackland, welcome to salem, rabbit-hole, cathedral, dragonbreak, the mod with that "hyborian mount" ... uh... well, the famos conan-thingy, pitfighter, sea of ghosts, the "fight against the thalmor" mod series, the "gate to oblivion"-quest mods... uhm... done for now.
~~MetaNaito~~ Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 sexlab SOS UNP hentai pregnancy pretty face enhanced character edit apachi hairs ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ the bread nad butter of my game.
Dallas-Arbiter Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 There's a lot of mods I couldn't live without. So, I'll put them all in spoilers. BODY: 1. UNP base 2. SG Renewal Textures with the HD tintmasks that go with it 3. SG Eyebrows 4. Coverwomen look 1 seamless (head normal map) 5. Fitness body and it's blender 6. Apachii Sky Hair 7. Nu Hairstyles 8. Superior Lore Friendly hair 9. Better Hand Mesh for UNP 10. FFR for UNP (better feets) 11. Eyes of Beauty unleashed (player) 12. Realistic Eyes 2 (NPC's) 13. First person Camera fix (a 1st person skeleton with the cam height set to 1.04, I modded it for 1.08) 14. Customizable camera (for 3rd person) 15. Player Headtracking 16. Feminine Running forward animation 17. Castanistic Idle v07 18. Brawl Bugs (needed for Player Headtracking and more) 19. Pinup Poser 20. High Resolution Scars 21. RaceMenu 22. SOS (male only) with Vector Plexus regular addon Sex Mods: 1. Sex Lab 2. Sex Lab Matchmaker 3. Sex Lab Romance 4. Sex Lab Solutions (older version) 5. Sex Lab Heavy Sperm Replacer 6. Sex Lab Sound FX replacer Younger Fellatio ARMOR: 1. Hmm What to wear (for the thongs only) 2. Academy Dropout (thong only) 3. Remodeled Armors UNP (modded to remove the one thong that is used for every armor, and replaced the thongs with the two mods above.) 4. Adult Toys Rebuilt Lighting and extras: 1. Climates of Tamriel 2. Imaginator 3. USKP 4. Take Notes 5. Ranged Kill Cam Away 6. Sky UI 7. Narkisim Font Not exactly mods, but I can't do without these: 1. SKSE 2. ini Performance boost with Fixed shadows (skyrim runs pretty slow on my PC without this) 3. The CK 4. NifSkope The most important mod for me is the one I made for myself called "My Big Mod". All of the armors I listed were cobbled from the mods and put into my mod. In addition to that, there's two player houses I made, most of the female NPC's got face lifts, I added in "The Warp in The West" because I like that book, a few journals for certain NPC's, and lots of little changes.
Guest corespore Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I recently gave enhanced lighting and effect a chance. I tried climates of tamriel and didn't care much for it (good mod just not my taste) so i was slightly wary of another lighting overhaul mod but i think ELFx actually does a good job, thankfully i had it stored away in a file. Audio overhaul of skyrim is also another great one, it add much needed realism to the sound effects. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/43773/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27043/?
Loyotaemi Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Favorite Mods for me probably has to be: AOS (I like the sound of the Fireballs) Frostfall Realistic Water Two Sands of Time (Although My current Set up doesn't have it in. . . I miss it deeply) Immersive Armors NPC Appearance Overhaul (I like not being the only special snowflake. . . even though Im the Dragonborn. . .) Bijin Warmaidens SG Eyebrows Hold Border Banners I am also digging Requiem, but its still new to me so I can't say too much.
Hajtus Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Cerwiden True Vision ENB Interesting NPCs Sevenbase Stalhrim Heavy Armor - Cleavage BBP Climates of Tamriel Deadly Dragons Real Girls Realistic Body Texture Personalized Music Populated series Racemenu Additional Player Voices for Skyrim - Additional Player Voices for Skyrim v2 + MORE Additional Player Voices for Skyrim - Female Young Eager Voice ENGLISH These are probably the essentials for me .
uman2631 Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 There are a lot of mods I like. There's only 1 that I couldn't play without, and that's Springtime (not to be confused with Tropical). I hate the snow in Skyrim above all other things. Other favorites: Younger Faces Subtle Male Skeleton Schlongs of Skyrim (SOS) SOS Revealing Armors SexLab SexLab Cumshot No nude comments Unarmored combat
Jexsam Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 No nude comments Okay so, why is this so hated? It was a great immersion feature that was sorely missed in Oblivion, and bringing it back was one of the best little touches Bethesda gave Skyrim. Then again I also liked how Skyrim's Dunmer actually looked like a TES dark elf, but for some reason people have something against good design. Which, incidentally, is pretty obvious within a few minutes browsing any screenshot thread here, so I'm not sure why that surprises me. >_>

Which, incidentally, is pretty obvious within a few minutes browsing any screenshot thread here, so I'm not sure why that surprises me. >_> Speaking personally, I have long detested the vanilla elf design with a passion. It's not because they shouldn't be otherwordly or slightly alien - they should. And it's not because they don't look like the Tolkien high fantasy archetype - they don't have to.I'm a fan of the general tes elf culture, it's weaponry, architecture, the machiavellian politics, the xenophobia, it's all ace. I just don't dig that the people responsible for all that turn out to be Area 51 chupacabra road kill. So for me, (and regardless of how much it might get up your nose Jexsam), one of the very first mods I install is Ethereal Elven Overhaul - and judging by the almost half a million downloads, I'm far from alone. STEP core a brilliant foundation for me and takes care of most things that bug me. SG Texture Renewal - a very forgiving way to spruce folk up a bit Deadly Combat - it's pretty low profile and makes fights short but brutal. Dual Wield Parrying - One of Beth's weirder decisions (as if!) fixed. ACE Archery - I'm an archery addict. This makes it seem like the sort of thing a person would dedicate their life to. Audio Overhaul for Skyrim - only been around a short time, but it's now essential to my game. The Dance of Death - who doesn't install this?
