the purple feet is fixed in v2 the races not that's on my todo list for custom fixes for v3

 

and idd the eyelashes suffer from left over bugs but there's many in mbp to fix (cough some things really haven't been done the way they should have been some things are too much to fix without well redoing a hell of alot)

Hello cyb3r,

 

thanks for this great mod compilation but i have a few problems. I installed everying with OBMM and used Wrye Bash 295 to merge everything into the bashed patch. Oblivion is starting good but iam missing a few races. The chocolate elfes, cute elfes and the loli races dont appear. I also tried to your load order but iam missing the "x117race.esp" but i have the "x117Race ENG Race.esp" and "x117Race.esm". And the patch adds a Real_Mannequin.esp which isnt listed in your list.

Then there are a handful of race that look very strange and have dark holes instead of eyes or the eyes are placed too deep into the head.

Also this guide: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=1602 says that one should install the "Beautiful People 2ch-Ed v1.8.0 Fixed" first, but it isnt mentioned in your post. What differs is that he uses BOSS for the load order, but you use wyre bash instead to merge. Thats a bit confusing.

 

Well the rest is where it should be.

I remember I had a problem like that, but I'm not near my oblivion folder to check, so I'm not sure... anyway:

 

"Beautiful People 2ch-Ed ENG Race.esp" translates the races' descriptions into English, but doesn't mark the races as playable. Since it is after "Beautiful People 2ch-Ed Chocolate Elves.esp" (which is the one that marks chocolate elves as playable), then when you merge, they won't be marked as playable in the bashed patch.

x117race.esp was only included in the very first x117 packs it's used by very very few addons these days mini lop elf seems to be one of them

 

About the no eyes you did not enable the sheogorath eyes but bashed it in which i said not to do cause it creates problems

 

And bp 1.8 gets almost completely overwritten by mbp 1.4 which is in the pack ^^ the few missing files (not eyes just merely some feet) i took out of bp 1.8 and putted them in v2 (note didn't notice before myself since those textures where in the bsa of xeoSp++ anyways)

 

Atm i don't have oblivion fully installed (i'll do that later this weekend) so i get to test v2 ^^

Sorry, im relatively new to this. I've already messed with some mods and so on. but i never heard of wrye bash.

 

what do i have to do? so far i've installed the *.omod into obmm

idd ostra ^^ i'll make the 'readme' a bit clearer for new people to wrye soon (after i get my oblivion install sorted (this time it isn't a load order issue or a ini issue it's just oblivion being weird XD)

Yeah, quick queation, how do I get these into obmm? they download as 001 and 002 files, and adding them as a file or archive doesen't work or..............wait, do I put them both into a folder and import the folder?

 

 

 

Help?

 

Also, would any pronlems arise if install this while I already have DMRA complete installed?

strange iris but i'll provide extra links for v2 anyways which should be done soon

 

I moved some planned stuff for v2 (blame python being an issue and losing a week worth of work in a fucked up win 7 install grmbl) had a backup of my list that sadly got highly corrupted (80% corruption no way in hell i'm getting that back even with the extra tools i got :() to v2.1

 

Which should be just a minor patch (fixes to eye lashes (which are under testing atm ^^))

 

and there will be an obmm installer script for certain parts of the mod but that's either going in v2 or v3 depending on how quick i can get the mini lop elf issue sorted (looking highly to be v3)

Thanks guys, now i got the other races playable. It was the fault of "Beautiful People 2ch-Ed ENG Race.esp", now its placed before the esp's of the other races and they work. Considering the eyes, i excluded the "sheogorath eyes" from the bash but nothing, still races with mising eyes there.

Then i installed XeoSP and XeoSP++ and there were much more races without eyes, strangely even races that had eyes before (for example the ape race).

But keep up the good work, iam postive you will fix these things :)

 

Short question: Which part of this patch do you need python for?

you don't need python for any of them regis ^^ i just use wrye bash for installing(the omod is for the convenience of others and so i don't need to write scripts for bain and for omods at the same time) and a bug in python stopped me from simply installing (i blame wrye 295.2 using the ancient ansi version of wxpython) most issues where solved using wrye 295.3 tho it's far from perfect

 

My previous install of wrye the one that got bye bye'd in the format worked with zero issues might be that there are some left over code from my old python 64bit install shouldn't cause an issue but hell installers usually don't deinstall everything so ....

 

About the googly eyes don't bash Xeosp++ into the patch it has to be last in your loadorder after the bashed patch or it will cause issues

 

Personally i'm using Xeosp++ with xeorc4 v1.6 with the xeorc2 patch (the one that fixes the orc2 race ^^)

Ah, made a stupid typo, i wanted to ask what exactly you are using python for when working on this patch (beacuse it sounded like you do), not if its needed to install it, but you answered it anyway :-)

 

About the eyes, you're right, i didnt bash XeoSP but placed it before the patch, that caused the loss of eyes, it figures. The only thing missing now are the chapon eyes, the x117 (loli) race and the eyes of the SlimX... races are too far inside the skull.

And good that you mention wrye bash 295.3, it is already out? Iam still unsing 295.0 because 295.2 had some unicode ansi problem on my PC and the whole ansi part should be rewritten in 295.3.

 

Why are you using xeorc4? Isnt it overwritten by XeoSP? i heared something like that.

i installed xeorc 4 after xeosp++ since some races aren't included or not properly included in xeosp++

 

wrye bash 295.3 is out on the svn you can download the map simply and overwrite the mopy folder (don't overwrite the stuff with older files some on the svn are older than the ones used in 295.2)

 

about missing eyes try removing the sheogorath eyes out of your bashed patch and see if that fixes if not i'll get back to ya it might be that v2 which i'm currently testing (technically the internall build is at v2.05 allready containing fixes that barely made it in ^^)

but more importantly, i cant find the x117 loli race. I did everything i could, but nothing. Dont know if this is releated but the x117race.esp you mention in your loadorder isnt included in your mod. I added my loadorder, maybe you can find the problem. But take your time, finishing the mod is more important, i can wait :-)

1. you have to download wyre bash http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22368

2. install it, make sure to check the option to install python and select oblivion

3. start it, arrange the loadorder

4. rightclick on bashed patch,0.esp then rebuild bashed patch

5. check every Mbp ++ mod but uncheck "sheogorath", then continue

6. you are done

No this is an all in one pack the only things not included are xeo / xeorc / xeosp/sp++ but since that stuff is a bit more advanced i'd personally say try this one first ^^ atm theres a couple minor issues which i'm working on a fix for :)

i'll add extra dl locations but not torrent my isp neatly throttles those they don't care if it's for legal stuff or not.

 

Due to a stupid law that hasn't been sorted (net neutrality) the new law is basicly written for isps instead for consumers like it should be...
