False alarm. I couldnt speak to spouse because an event started. Where she goes to the room and pleasures herself. J guess you can't talk to her during the event. I will need to retry mod again with moving homes.

Hi together

I know, this mod is not longer supported, but I hope someone can help me.

When I put the Mod in the Game, I can talk to my Spouse, then when the screen goes darkend, to start Event, then I get a CTD and a error message from Visual C++.

but Visual C++ is up to date.

Therefore, I can not explain this CTD

hmm, the affection level appears to be stuck after all, and the child presence appears to be ignored regardless in my case. Ah well, shame, thought this would be more flexible, but no doubt it's probably a mod conflict. AFT, or child follower, or sexlab submit perhaps? Ah well.

I tried this and in some ways really liked it. But I was having an awful lot of CTDs. I'm relatively sure it was due to incompatible mods, but I had to uninstall this.

Now I'm reading it may be (or IS) incompatible with My Home is Your Home. So I just now removed MHiYH and I'm going to give this another try. I deleted all the saves where I had it enabled so I'll have to get married all over again :)

I tried this with 2 different followers. Neither of whom is vanilla. I tried it with Eryniel Elf and with Raven (from Lunari Warriors). With Eryniel, it seemed to function correctly, but once I gave her a couple of outfits, I started getting lots of CTD. It may very well have been the outfits themselves. I just don't know. Eryniel used the bed in Riverside Lodge as expected and I got all the dialogues I was expecting to see.

With Raven, I didn't get the high number of CTD (still got a few), but no matter if I was in a vanilla house (Breeze Home) or in a custom one (Riverside Lodge), she didn't respond correctly to "let's take this to the bedroom". She didn't know where the bed was or something.

Because of the SPACE inside, I would LOVE to use this with Paradise Valley Underground Bath House. I just couldn't get the bed to work right in there. I tested so many things I'm not sure I tested that with both Raven and Eryniel. I just remember it not working. I like the place so much I think it's worth trying again now that I've removed My Home is Your Home. I'll just have to remember to use the "Dismiss but Hang Out Here" from AFT if I want to dismiss a follower.

Oh! The OTHER problem I encountered with Eryniel is that she doesn't HAVE a home. So that whole "you can come live with me" thing didn't work. I had to have Breeze Home FIRST so we could choose to live there right after the wedding. THEN I could go to Riverside Lodge and cast the spell on the bed and use the power to make it the new spouse home.

So.... questions...

Does anyone use this successfully with the Paradise Valley Underground Bath House?

And.... should the prospective bride NOT be a follower when you approach her for marriage? Should I just wait until after we're married and she's in the new house before I ask her to "follow me, I need your help"?

What I MAY do is park the followers at the bath house (if I can't get it to work as a proper home WITH bed for my wife) and then use Riverside Lodge as my home with my wife. Leave the house, summon the followers, and after adventuring, make a stop at Paradise Valley to drop off the posse and then go home to the wife. It would change how I play a bit, but might be better for me. I don't eat or sleep when I'm playing. Now I'd have a reason to go home :)

Can there be a conflict  with Lover´s Comfort?

Eeeh. Kind of.

You would probably want to turn off the Wake-Up Animation in Spouse's Enhanced. Also the "Your spouse might find a lover" thing from LC sounds like he's implemented his own affection system of some kind and the two probably wouldn't blend very well.

The rest of the NPC interactions wouldn't conflict.

OK, re-activated Spouses Enhanced.

I have a PC who has Eryniel Elf as one of his followers, so after making a save just for this I went and got the amulet of Mara and started the marriage thing while she was still a follower (using the AFT package). At the temple, on our wedding day, I saw a message about follower leaving to attend wedding ceremony or something similar. After wedding I told her we could live at my house in Whiterun (Breeze Home). She met me there as expected, but there was no "My Love..." dialogue starter.

Re-loaded the saved game and approached again but this time I dismissed her as a follower before approaching her with the amulet.

Wedding, yadda yadda yadda .... choose a home and I (again) said we could live at my house in Whiterun.

Still no "My Love..."

Saved at this point and exited the game.

Activated Spouses Can Live Anywhere (not My Home is Your Home)

Loaded the save..... BAM!

I get the "My Love..." dialogue.

So for reasons I'm sure I don't quite understand.... it seems this particular custom follower needs something like "Spouses Can Live Anywhere" even to live in a vanilla home like Breeze Home. I'll need to test a bit more before I commit to this, but if it continues to work as planned, it will be a fun new way to play through.

Now I just need some custom lingerie for the HDT body.... :/

Just reporting back.

After removing My Home is Your Home, I do not seem to be getting the CTDs that caused me to uninstall SE after the first run-through. I am using Aroused, Horny Followers, Aggressive Prostitution Tweaked, a few other custom followers, and this seems to be running reasonably well. I made a couple of extra outfits for my wife and they didn't turn out too terrible :) I'm not great at BodySlide/Outfit Studio so that's still a learning process.

For the testing I used the over-ride and set her affection at 4. She's quite the sex kitten at that setting. I mean I can hardly run to the store for milk and cheese without getting stalked when I walk back into the house. :D

I'm going to turn her back onto the NON-override and let this develop as intended (start from zero) and see how it goes. I'll keep a save with her "turned on high" just to test if I can move her into the Paradise Valley Underground Bath House. I kinda dig "spacious". Riverside Lodge is a little cramped. :)

I do not get one CTD with this mod. You may have incompatible body meshes for the outfits. It is not compat with mhiyh for the spouse, unless it's a follower only, then mhiyh work fine for followers. It works with spouses can live anywhere mod. Just use the "i would like to move somewhere else" dialogue option. You need to cast lovers sanc spell on the bed and make sure it recogs it. They take a few seconds to walk to the bed. Just dont get to close to them or they will stop and make comments.

So use spouses can live anywhere mod. Make sure you are close to the bed to the point where you can click it then cast the spell center of it. Followers can be spouses. When the bed is for sure correctly assigned, give them time to walk to the bed and give them some distance. Make sure you are using correct body meshes to.

Thanks!

You may be right about the outfits. I gave Eryniel several outfits that I had not tested prior to giving them to her. If one (or more) of them was not quite right, when she did her change of outfit that could very well have caused my problems. Ok, well that AND MHiYH which I've now removed.

Using AFT I can just tell all followers to "Relax" in a location OR I can "Dismiss but hang out here" so I really have a couple of options to keep tabs on them. Eryniel (my wife) will occasionally go out on missions with the group so I can have her follow me for the mission and "part ways" when we get back home.

I noticed she doesn't seem to be pathing to the upstairs room of Riverside Lodge. She goes up to the bedroom loft just fine, but hangs around on the ground floor. She seems to like the forge area :)

Yeah. If you can make your wife a new home with AFT commands then good. Im using "spouses can live anywhere" with camilla and she travels the whole house. From bedroom to dining hall. Im using riverside lodge too and she goes everywhere.

I'm using "Spouses Can Live Anywhere" as well. Maybe I just haven't hung around in the house enough. I did the "Mark New House" from spouses can live anywhere. Then cast the spell from Spouses Enhanced to make the bed the Master Bed. And it all seems to be fine except I've not seen her in the kitchen yet.

I think I need to get her out of the house so I can upgrade Riverside Lodge. I just noticed I have a pretty old version.

Hey there, just a quick question. I know, somewhere out on the internet, there's a romance mod that, after a certain amount of time, lets your spouse leave you/take another lover/cheat. That's not this mod, is it? Cause I really like all the features of this mod, but I'm really not down for any mods that allow "cheating". So, that's not this mod, is it? There's no negative repercussions, such as divorce, cheating, leaving, ect? Thanks guys!

You are in the right place! The "cheating" mod you refer to is Lovers Comfort. Spouses Enhanced does not include cheating (though there is an option, entirely optional, to include threesomes). The worst that will happen in SE is that your spouse will sulk if you fail to have sex with her or him for too long, and will refuse to be intimate with you for one day. This is a much "sweeter" mod (in every sense) than Lovers Comfort.

If you don't already have it, consider downloading Apropos. It works amazingly well with this mod, especially if you use customized messages (ie. ones you write yourself, about or on behalf of, your spouse).

Be patient when raising affection levels for SE. It takes a bit of time. Oh, and custom houses are not usually recognized (but Hearthfire DLC is).

RE: Custom Houses.

I have SE working fine with Riverside Lodge, Mammoth Manor, and just this morning tested it with Paradise Valley Underground Bath House.

With Paradise Valley you use the "Do you want to move into my underground bath house?" INSTEAD of the "I want to move someplace else" dialogue.

Once she gets to Paradise Valley you can cast Lover's Sanctuary on the bed and it appears to be all working correctly that way.

I have a LOT of followers for whom I can NOT get this working.

The Lunari Warriors don't ever give me the "My Love..." dialogue and neither does Aurora (yeah, I dig elvish looking chicks)

I tried this with Lydia and didn't get the "My Love..." dialogue either, but it may have been because I had already bought Breeze Home and she was already a house carl there. No great loss.... she walks like a gorilla... :D

So what other custom followers have been tried an known to work with this?

Eryniel Elf and Calerial (also an elf) both work fine. I believe they were made by donnyducky.

I simply love your mod. I don't usually offer suggestions and ideas but because I love your mod so much, I really want to see it grow into something truly special. I have a couple of ideas, some of them may be too far-fetched to implement but here goes.

Bestiality?

Something could be added for PC Werewolves and Vampire Lords. Maybe an entry event where the spouse wants to experience something on the wild side and asks the PC to transform for a little fun and games. Or, they can approach the PC upon seeing them in their transformed state, so on and so forth.

Cheating?

If the PC fails to satisfy the needs of their spouse within a given time, their spouse invites an NPC of the same sex as the PC (for the jealousy effect) home and has their way with them or vice versa.

Expanded threesome?

Rather than only including housecarls, allow the PC to ask any NPC they desire. Either someone already following them or a random NPC from the street to enhance the roleplay aspect.

Burglars?

The PC walks in to find their spouse being raped by a single or multiple burglars and has to fight them or pay them with gold or their body.

This is already a part of the mod. The threesome option is not limited to housecarls. Don't know where you got that idea.

Posted

It's probably because I married Lydia and had Serana as a follower.

When you say it's already part of the mod, do you mean the PC can leave the house and find an NPC to bring home with them if they don't already have a follower?

Posted

My game experience will be a little different from yours, since my spouse is a NPC I made myself and she is also my follower (though I have other followers too, courtesy of AFT).

This is how it works for me. When I speak to a non-spousal NPC I usually have the option to ask them something delicate, "it's personal." Then I say "have been a good friend to [spousename] and me, how would you like etc?" The NPC does not follow you home, but when you ask the spouse for "special time" in the spousal home, you get the option to invite someone else to join you. One option is always the housecarl for the home where you now are. Another option is the NPC you invited with the "it's personal" dialogue. Choose that name. The screen briefly darkens and then--lo!--there is Elisif or Anneke or whoever you asked walking bold as brass into your bedroom in full expectation of a hot threesome, which duly transpires. Then out she (or he) goes without so much as a "thank you." No idea how Elisif gets back to Solitude safely. She no doubt has a very discreet guard waiting for her outside, but she's so discreet you never see. So: Step 1 Ask a third party to join you with the "it's personal" dialogue branch. Step 2 Go home (or just wait until you arrive there--no hurry)  and initiate sex with your spouse using the "my love" line. Step 3; Ask for a threesome and choose the NPC you invited.

Not all NPCs will agree. Come to think of it, Anneke (mentioned above) is my wishful thinking. The Dude Guy frowned on cheating and so married NPCs are off limits. That also answers your other question about cheating. Not available in this mod. TDG (bless his moral soul!) was against it, but was considering a compromise just before he abandoned the mod. Unless some other modder takes it up, it will not be an option here (and quite a few people love this mod for that very reason).

Bestiality (your other request) is also unavailable in this mod. Good thing imho. I never understood the appeal of mandibles and tentacles.

Posted

I admit I didn't fully play with the mod before posting. Not every NPC is approachable but so far it seems most beggars are. I haven't tested it on friends but I am under the impression that it is based on your relationship with the NPC you want to ask? So if you've completed a few quests for someone or helped someone out, they would become a potential fun-lover. I'm only guessing.

I absolutely love the roleplay scenarios!

Also, would it be possible to make the spouse the do-er in MMF threesomes? I invited Faendal over and he ended up going down on me and played with the wife's strap-on. Not what I had in mind, really.
