Wretched Scum Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Nevermind my posts. I found the problem. My fault. I took a look at the dialoge in the CK before installing, something went wrong and the SE esp got removed as a master for the SEserana esp.

But Spouses Enhanced -- I'm loving the idea and execution. Such a diversion from most of the other SexLab mods, I had a quick look through the mod compilation thread and could not help but laugh, facepalm, and both at the same time on occasion, at all that modded glory of sex-with-spiders, sex-with-freshly-raised-corpses, get-randomly-raped-when-walking-around-naked (yeah, 'cause a level $BIGNUM Dragonborn is totally going to take it subserviently instead of sticking a fireball the size (and shape, if she's feeling creative) of Alduin up the would-be rapist's arse). So thank you so much for Spouses Enhanced. I do have a small problem/issue. When asking my spouse to kiss my character, the animations play and the characters cuddle (which is so adorable), but the accompanying voice effects are the "oohs" and "aahs" of an actual sex act (which is less adorable). I'm wondering if that might be a misconfiguration issue on my side, or are the noises supposed to happen? I: am using the current version of SexLab (1.39) with all dependencies (SKSE, SyUI, FNIS without creature pack) in place and working (as far as I can tell). Everything has been added as fresh clean installs, I have not used previous versions / upgraded. am using Spouses Enhanced 1.3a + SESerana. These are also clean installs and not upgrades from previous versions. have Serana as my spouse, mod load order is as recommended. am not using any other SexLab mods (except SexLab MatchMaker temporarily to test the installation as suggested in the SexLab troubleshooting guide). I'd appreciate any hints and suggestions for disabling the over-the-top moaning during kissing/cuddling (while keeping it enabled for actual sex acts). Thanks!

Do you recommend activating it only after the PC has married, because I seem to have some issues with it. I am not quite sure yet, but I had repeated CTDs with my Skyrim making the game virtually unplayable and the Papyrus Log which I activated now in hope of finding the cause of my troubles gives me the code below (however repeated infinitely...). I have the strange feeling that these errors have to do with the mod and the fact that my character is not yet married and finally lead to crashing the game. The Serana one is a patch to install after the main one. Use it only if you have the requirements for it listed in the original post.

Let me indulge you as to the tale of "getting this mod to work" I had been having issues with my Sexlab for a while now. First it was the animations not lining up and then it just stopped working altogether. But because of this mod I was determined to fix it. As my "wife to be"is a Nexus download and I play as a female character was a follower (I just find that you can have a much better experience as a female in this game, clothes, armours etc...) I found that UFO was not allowing me to marry her and she was not giving me the dialogue. I have about 5 followers and for me to marry her I had to uninstall UFO which left me with one follower which turned out to be Mjoll. dismissing her I was then able to marry Sylvia (my wife to be - and Sylvia can be found on the nexus if you are interested). So happily married she then asks where we can live except for some reason Honeyside doesn't show up. Turns out I no longer owned Honeyside (although I could live in it) so going back to before the wedding, I bought Honeyside again, then married and then I got the dialogue option. So Sylvia goes back to Honeyside and the Spouse Bed is set. Hurrah. Except I don't get the "My...love" option. so I try another Sexlab act and nothing happens. I then have to uninstall Sexlab (and run FNIS after each install and uninstall) and all the plug ins. But when I reload, I have a corrupt Save. So I have to go back to before I asked Sylvia to marry, do the propose (hey, now there's an idea for a mod) again, go to Riften, re-buy Honeyside, marry, and choose Honeyside. Reinstall Sexlab, and some plug-ins. Finally I get the "My...love" option. Yay! Then I try the kiss, and nothing happens. Waaaaghhhh. I try a Sexlab plug-in and nothing. I do a SKYUI MCM reset and all the plug-ins come back except Sexlab and SOS.,,, Bugger.... So I then have to uninstall Sexlab again and SOS. Turns out my SOS Smurf add-on was corrupt. So I reinstall with Vector.s Regular. SOS comes up in MCM. Then I get a CTD. Brilliant. I reboot and reinstall Sexlab - it comes up then CTD's again. I then have to uninstall Sexlab, uncheck all plugins. Reload and I get a clean Save. I save and reinstall Sexlab for the umpteenth time. It goes in. I try out the kiss and I get a CTD. I check my load order and swap a few plug in's around. It loads and I try Random Sex. Iona and Sylvia get it on, but poor Talea (my character) can't even masturbate. I try the kiss again and still no joy, I try one of the Spouse choices and she just stands there. Hmmm....most people would have given up by now - but I am determined. So I reboot and come here. There is now an update for 1.3 so I carefully follow the upgrade instructions, fortunately I don't have anything in the Spouse drawers so that's not needed. I uninstall 1.2, reinstall 1.3 and load up. I try the kiss and it works. Yesssss. I try the cuddle and it works. Finally I try a Sex act and it works. I then had to reinstall UFO and go and round up my followers again. I really wanted to try and get this mod to work and I've also managed to fix my Sexlab so thanks for that. Sexlab itself is buggy as hell, but it is such a brilliant addition to the game that when it works it really enhances it and the amount of incredibly talented people who work on it and plug-ins for it have my greatest appreciation. So from me, Talea and Sylvia we say thankyou. :-)

But I wanted to draw attention to a great contribution by xboronx on 31 January (too long to be quoted here) that had some wonderful ideas about romantic locations for outdoor trysts, including hot springs near Riften and the bridge to the bandit tower by Valtheim (think that is the name). Xboronx suggested that you could make love on the bridge and then jump off it. I just tried that and had an even better experience--we both fell off during the postclimax ragdoll. I hope that xboronx's ideas will not get lost in the flurry of recent posts. Some of those ideas would work very well with TDG's plans to include "vacations" in future updates. TDG has also asked for ideas for entiry events. Here is one: rather than leap immediately into the sack, the spouse plays the lute (instrumental, but please not Dragonborn comes or Ragnar the Red) as a romantic prelude to set the mood for the intimacy that will surely follow. One of the great things about SE is that it is not just about sex, which of course makes the sex even better. Another possibility: player enters to find spouse sleeping and having an erotic dream about player. Player enters spouse's dream and she awakes to find it truth.

I think it would complement this mod very well, if only somebody (unfortunately not me, except in the design phase) was able to do it. Perhaps TheDudeGuy would be interested as the affection structure is already in place. :-)

I have been trying to actively supress errors that can occur before you get married. This another one of them. Thanks for letting me know about it, I will "plug the leak". In general this error won't make anything work incorrectly. It just looks bad.

The general idea is that your spouse goes to the location (which you will be able to Fast Travel to), and will hang out there for about a week before heading home. You can spend as much time there with them as you like, and can tell them when it's time to head back. The kids stay at home and are watched by the Housecarl, if there are any, so it's just the two of you. I am planning on adding a few new outfit drawers for vacation purposes, such as a swimsuit drawer for swimming in Lake Illinalta, and etc. Still taking suggestions here. Vacations seemed more interesting for me to do first because it's something completely new and it lets me set up a little campsite with things for you and your spouse to do (play the lute, swim, do things in the tent, etc) instead of just "let's go somewhere risky and do it". Which is still something I want eventually but this seemed like more fun to work on at the time. Right now I'm planning on at least 3 vacation destinations; hotsprings, camping near a lake, and something else, perhaps in a snowy area. What a beautiful mod. This is probably either a suggestion that you might have tried and found unusable, or is not even doable with the current API. But according to SexLab API docs it should be possible for modders to add custom voice sets. Maybe you could create a voice set of silent .wavs (or smoochy noises) and SetVoice() that to the actors during kissing animations?

Oh no, it wasn't your mod that was the problem, it was Sexlab itself. It was just that I wanted to get this mod working so much that I was determined to solve my problems. :-) Result is that Sexlab is now working like a dream and this mod is really enhancing my game. Love it.

Please follow these instructions carefully.First, load your game. Unload EVERYTHING from your spouse's Outfit Drawers; otherwise they will be LOST. Next, save. Next, uncheck SpousesEnhanced.esp from your load order. Load your game. Open the console (~). Type "ClearInvalidRegistrations". <----- MAKE SURE TO DO THIS! Save your game and exit. Uninstall Spouses Enhanced (old version). Download and install Spouses Enhanced 1.3. Fire it up. Hey Dudeguy, I followed these steps exactly (especially ClearInvalidRegistrations) and I'm geting some wonky behavior. When I upgrade from V2, doing this process, I lose the dialog option. Doesn't matter if they are in follower mode or at home. Any tips to debug? Edit: After the last step (fire it up): Saving the game, closing out, and reloading after the last step seemed to fix it.

I am planning on adding a few new outfit drawers for vacation purposes, such as a swimsuit drawer for swimming in Lake Illinalta, and etc. Still taking suggestions here. Vacations seemed more interesting for me to do first because it's something completely new and it lets me set up a little campsite with things for you and your spouse to do (play the lute, swim, do things in the tent, etc) instead of just "let's go somewhere risky and do it". Which is still something I want eventually but this seemed like more fun to work on at the time. Right now I'm planning on at least 3 vacation destinations; hotsprings, camping near a lake, and something else, perhaps in a snowy area. Thank you for the nice mention Grimbold . Could you maybe add a spell like the master bed assign spell for assigning a vacation location where your spouse should go to and wait TDG? I haven't tried it yet, but with decorating mods like that http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25068/? you could setup locations for your spouse then as surprises. Judging from the mod videos it should be possible without much hassle to place some chairs and a table for example. Also since everybody has his own personal taste for particularly romantic or nice locations this way it would feel like a custom outdoor date . You are doing an awesome job. There is always the coding/scripting problem, but those 2 checks are hopefully not too difficult: First you could check how much money the player currently possesses. Your spouse will ask you to buy him/her some nice clothes/jewelry/lingerie and when the player buys some items then if you are too much like uncle scrooge your spouse will not be amused. Like spending only 50 septims while you own 50000. The second check could be done via Sexlab Arousals clothing rating, because you buy the outfit for one of your outfit slots, and if sexlab arousal recognizes the outfit to be skimpy while it should be a noble dress or too formal while it should be sexy wear for bedtime your spouse will also not be amused. But those checks are just a vague idea, might be too much hassle. Your spouse would surprise you sometimes with your recently bought gifts the next days you come home then with some special dialogue. If you like the Solitude idea you can also easily expand it with a visit to the winking skeever and a night in the luxury suite there, and then there is the bards college, blue palace and spectacular views from many of the towers. Lmao Asking people to read is like expecting a dungeon finder group in wow to coordinate and behave lol Or hoping your random teammates do something useful if you play World of Tanks
Angar Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Hello. I just married Mjoll and the mod doesn't recognize her as my spouse. She doesn't have the ,,My love..." conversation and she doesn't appear in the MCM. Does anyone know how to fix this? thank you
Tharbad123 Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Angar - trick is, is to get married, which sets up the marriage AI after choosing a house, then install the mod - have a look at my trials and tribulations earlier in this thread for similar problems and solutions :-)
Dark Thoughts Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 They may decline if they have a particular relationship with the spouse (sibling, child, grandparent, cousin, etc) or if that person is married already. I'm wondering, is this a 100% refusal or a percentage chance and / or based on your speechcraft level?
