Lovely Rose Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Besides stripping her naked i mean. Idk i been looking around nexus, but its being buggy? not sure if its just me. Looking how to make my person to be prettier, tired of using the generator thing. I got a hair mod (popular one on nexus) I seen like ones for the face generator where u have to install the characters texture or something thou fnv/data/textures/character/female or w.e but i dont know how that works and no where can i find out where. Is there any mods out there where like. I get generated faces to pick out of the barbermenu? lol Oh and fallout nv xD) lol Like suggestions or what not be nice. I tired playing with the barbermenu but fucked my characters face up and when back to default face is kinda is uhhh.. not so good XD Edit: oh and to be clear, im looking for either GENERATOR IDEAS INSIDE THE RACE/BARBER MENU. Not necessarily just mods Figured id add that sense people cant seem to read
Lovely Rose Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 Only threads i seen for fallout are Fallout General Discussion Fallout Technical Support Sexout Fallout Adult Mods Fallout Non Adult Mods show me which one of these is the correct THREAD for it than? Cause im not asking for adult mods. Im not asking for NON adult mods. Im not asking for technical support, and im not asking for sexout. why would i post in THOSE threads? I;m asking how to make my person beautiful, doesnt have to be a mod really, for all you know im asking for generator ideas in the barbermenu/racemenu. Edit: unless you mean the correct TOPIC. and if it there was a CORRECT TOPIC CONCERING THIS. it would be PINNED. and its not. So instead of acting like ur so smart and being ignorant to people. why not kindly show them the "correct" topic. I looked down the list of current topics, didnt see any related to what i need.
AmyScarlet Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 In my experience Fallout is very limited in terms of making characters look pretty or unique. Simply because the engine it uses is crap compared to that of Skyrim and even Oblivion for that matter. Ark is correct in the fact you will need to use mods to do it as well as a ENB to get the full effect. You can find most of these on the Nexus. For the record the thread you are looking for is PINNED and can be found here. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/1625-is-there-a-mod-that-requests/ Some recommendations are: Edit: 17-01-2014 00:12 - All links removed -
Lovely Rose Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 Thanks but imma go ask around other forums where i wont get treated ignorantly or rude. Ill check out the Mojave delight thing. havent seen that before Edit: I ment pinned as in on a sub thread, aka a topic u see first when u open a thread. (thats a topic btw) Edit 2: Thats not even a thread about Beautifing characters. Surprise Ark doesnt go post saying its in the wrong spot. XD
AmyScarlet Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Edit 2: Thats not even a thread about Beautifing characters. Surprise Ark doesnt go post saying its in the wrong spot. XD No one said it was for "beautifing characters", I just said it was the thread you were looking for as it where all questions of this type go and get answered. Off topic slightly You know, Ark has done a lot of guides for this forum over the time he has been here and I think he deserves some credit, most threads like this these days just get ignored completely. If it was me I would be grateful that I got a answer.
Lovely Rose Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 Considering the fact he acts rude on every forum i see requesting help or posts in general. Telling people to go to places that arent related, or arent of the same manner. And i know alot of ppl that complain he just spams help forums the same stuff instead of actually helping. And excatly, its not about it and im not gonna go looking through millions of post to find one i want. Easier to just ask people. oh and if its not a thread about beautifing characters, ITS OBVIOUSLY not the thread im looking for. (just sayin)
Guest endgameaddiction Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I will totally disagree about the ENB. You don't need ENB to make a character stand out to look good. What defies a characters appearance is light effect. ENB does help, but it's not one of the solutions to making a beautiful character. In general lighting and proper shading defies characteristic. Beauty mods just give it a boost. And really that all varies on personal preference. It all depends what you are looking for. Katie I would suggest Mojave Delight. It is a great female beauty mod. There's also Desert Succubus, Moonshadow Race, Moonshadow Doll Race if you are interested in elves. I know you're not experienced with GECK, but I suggest if you want to take it to the next level, just tweak your own faces. I began doing this 3 years ago as I despise vanilla race and assets being shared with the vanilla race and presets, and because Bethesda is just horrible at making presets for Fallout in general. FaceGen (Modeller) in GECK is really an aggravating tool to tweak faces. It really involves a lot of patience.
Lovely Rose Posted January 17, 2014 Author Posted January 17, 2014 Yea ill learn sooner or later, and ENBS i heard are highly crashable. So imma pass for now XD thanks for everyones input thou
Mudchop Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 ENBs can be finicky, but it all depends on which one and on your hardware. I'm assuming what you're mainly aiming for is presets, which there are quite a few of, but a good amount use custom races for them. I do highly recommend you look into custom races though, as they can achieve far and beyond anything that can be created with vanilla. If you say you're not exactly looking for a mod, then I would suggest finding save files you may like and tweaking them from there. If by your first post you are also including textures, there are a wealth of them out there that you could tweak further to your liking if need be. There's a section on the Nexus. As for general generator usage, AmyScarlet was right; the Fallout character creator is pretty bad. It's really up to luck and divine intervention that you get really good faces. Tips would be to save every time you make a change, be persistent, and experiment.
Lovely Rose Posted January 17, 2014 Author Posted January 17, 2014 Yea basically waht i did. i downloaded mojave delight or w.e than altered it a bit. i got a setting i like for now.
D_ManXX2 Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 You should be thankful people are even answering your post. i have seen plenty of rudeness coming from you other posts too. As to your question there is no easy way. you need to learn how to effectively use the New Vegas facegen character creation. Also some mods that adds new eye models head texture. Here are some links: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/51084/? http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/37537/? http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/54460/? http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38788/? Fallout3 face presets. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35509/? Facelifts: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/41637/? What you need to look for are mods that make better face, eyes mouth, nose textures etc.. and then play around with the character presets to make the face fit better with what you want to accomplish. The generator is awful do it manually.

DoctaSax Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Enough. The thread can stay, the OP's valid, and if anyone's gonna tell people that they can't post here, there or wherever, that person's nick better be in purple. Conversely, don't continue the drama in profile updates & all that either. Ain't nobody got time for this schoolyard crap.
RitualClarity Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 After you get the face the way you want you need some clothes too. What is a girl suppose to do without clothes in the desert... Well there are mods that address that but we won't go there. . I forget the name of the mod right now and can't find it on the computer. It is a building that you can get with a heart shaped bed, and several closets of various clothes from cute shoes and stockings to sexy versions of vault suits. I believe KayneChylde helped create the building. Perhaps someone can help with the link.
ChancellorKremlin Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 You're thinking of Jonas Opines' Kristinas Closet for Type 3. As a body, Type 3 probably has the most support all round, in addition to having a number of variations of its own, so I would recommend you try it out Katie.
RitualClarity Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Yes. There are all sorts of cute outfits, tough outfits and even slutty outfits. Outfits for all needs... All the the things a girl could ever need. ... Thanks CK, helpful as always... I just couldn't remember the creators name only that our own KainesChild helped with the building. I also need that file for some reason I couldn't find it in my backups.
Lovely Rose Posted January 17, 2014 Author Posted January 17, 2014 I have riot armor for type 3. i also have armors for the sexout store. but i got random clothing packs to haha. Non installed atm. but im planning on deactiving sexout or atleast turning everything to 0% so nothing activates, not in mood for random stuff like that haha. but i kinda got the face i want for now
jonas_opines Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 You don't have to commit to Type 3 or Type 6 or whatever. They all use the same texture and are mapped to it the same way. All the variations are basically resizing of hips, boobz, whatever of the original Type 3 body. So as long as you're using one of them, you'll be able to use all of them, and the only thing that changes is mild changes in the shape of the body 9 times out of 10. Unless your dealing with items that are more accessories, like separate t-shirts, and then you'll have problems even if they're just variations on the T3 body, like cali vs slim vs basehd. Of course, vanilla replacers you have to pick one or the other. And yep, it was a fine house by Kayneschild (well, once we moved the bed into an actual bedroom rather than the main room, lol). I haven't made a damned interior cell since Morrowind. The original was just some Frankenstein modification of Doc Mitchell's house, haha.
RitualClarity Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Yea, the house is the main reason for the mention. Not only is it a source of close it can be a home base until you find/create another one later. It has most of what is needed. It is a nice place to store you loot/ stuff etc as well.
Lovely Rose Posted January 17, 2014 Author Posted January 17, 2014 i used that mod. i just honestly. didnt care for the clothing. XD
RitualClarity Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 That's cool. remove what you don't like and use the chest to hold the ones that you do like...In the process make some caps by selling them to the vendor buy ammo or clothes from SexoutStore. Perhaps show a few of them that you do like and others that use the same style as what you want can post links for those here.
Lovely Rose Posted January 17, 2014 Author Posted January 17, 2014 I liked like.. 2 of them. I dont want dresses or tshirts or what not. rather have like combat outfits haha. some of the sexout store stuff is rather nice. NOt the restraint stuff like. leather armor was cut down some. But oh well. :3
ChancellorKremlin Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 And yep, it was a fine house by Kayneschild (well, once we moved the bed into an actual bedroom rather than the main room, lol). I remember something about Kristina (eventually) becoming a follower... so, how we doing on that?
jonas_opines Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 sigh, it would be faster if somebody else was willing to take on the esp and attach the right scripts. I hate scripting, and I'm tied into my new comic, as well as a new job search.
