If the doors do become un-interactiable like that, it should be easy to fix with a console command, pull up the console, click on the gate, and type "BlockActivation(false)" - the door should allow passage like normal. This was in Windhelm. I simply exited through the door to the harbor, so not really a big problem. Just a minor inconvenience. The bug rarely happens and I almost never see it on big city gates. I know exactly the one you are talking about. Its built in a very odd way in the creation kit, so im not surprised that one has problems. Sounds good, I'll test more solitude specifically and resolve that. Solitude is also one of those cities where I might need to add my own guard that always sticks to the gate, cause the guard NPC's run off.
MelloJello Posted May 4, 2025 Posted May 4, 2025 Idea: A deposit chest at the city gate you can deposit forbidden items or clothes if you are forbidden from wearing them. Maybe you have to pay a fee or favor to get your equipment back though.

I feel like there might have been a misunderstanding here, so just to clear it up: It was the front door that was malfunctioning. It was partly opened and I couldn´t interact with it. So I used the door to the harbor to get out of the city. 1

Hmmmmm that is more licenses specific, and because of how licenses detection can be not limited to just the city I think I would have a hard time making that work at the gate. However, it is an interesting concept that I might be able to use regardless. When I get further on the slave world stuff I want to spawn little "slaver depots" in various places around Tamriel. At a base level these will be places the player can ambush to reduce slave level, or turn in slaves to increase slave level. But providing that sort of utility could provide some interesting gameplay options. For instance I could use that as a perk of the player being part of the slavers guild. Or I could use that to provide extortion opportunities for the player from the slavers guild. Maybe after x days the players items get sent to the nearest "kennel" area, which would be a good way to introduce players to those locations. I'll keep it in the back of my mind

SexLab Survival is a good mod, but a lot of its content is a bit janky imo. Tolls were one of the few features that made me want to keep it, so maybe this will make me switch! 💖 Completely unrelated, but I do wish to see more mods come out with content for both male and female PCs and NPCs. It sucks reading a mod description that has everything I want but find out in-game that it only applies to females lol. Let my male characters be sluts too! Ideally, I'd mod my game to have equal treatment for male and female characters in regard to NSFW stuff... if something can happen to my female PC, then why can't it happen to my male PC too? Any time I use actual female pronouns or something in the dialogue I mark it as female only and make a general one. the only functionality I think that is different is currently in the works to use advanced nudity detection, and the only difference is the male characters can be bare chested without triggering the nudity law. but if you find anything that doesn’t work because your character is male let me know! 2

Found the bug, it was the most intro to programming mistake I have made in like 10 years. Indexes start at 0 in coding. I was starting at 1 when looking for the nearest gate. Cities with 1 gate were unaffected, due to an efficiency check I made. New version it should work. If you are near one of those gates you may need to fast travel or coc somewhere first, or just run until you change cells for it to fix itself. Windhelm actually with the main gate though actually had an oddity where it replaces the reference from the creation kit. So you will also need to open the MCM and hit "reload mod objects" to make sure the gate is added to the array.

I cant remember his name (Bellamy? or one of others), but the one in Whiterun, lets you try on progressive devious equipment, as well as body tattoos (with the branding device), piercings, boob growth, shaving your hair, and doing basic repeatable quests for gold (as free woman) or demanding you do jobs as slave. There was always a bug with his devious devices list and it required you to include old devious equipment to progress, which I think would be fixed with updated system. I currently have Slaverun and survival and enforcer on every playthrough, more for the inequality, and progressive slavery rule from SLS, that slowly turns Skyrim it into Slaverun. The main issue I had with SLS kennels is there was not much need to use them, avoidance was very easy, but overall I do like both mods (and all of their features) even if they can be a little janky sometimes. I see you referencing Hydra slave girls, is it a requirement too, or have you ported features? Also does it apply the rules to the native NPCs too or is just new slave characters? The reason I never use licenses is because it was only player focused which made it feel out of place for me (why is my character only subject to rules and not the world around me too). As I get the tolls cleaned up and the punishments added in I'll be planning for more story stuff as I introduce the Kennels. I do want to provide story elements and repeatable tasks from those, and each one will have a hidden slave area so its very possible. This mod requires almost nothing, outside of a couple papyrus extenders, everything else is optional, and just adds to it. Right NOW the inverse nudity law only applies to the player, but having NPC's observe it is one of the things on my list to get done sooner than later, it will be done before I get to the kennel stuff. With the Slave level stuff and licenses at a certain point a clothing license will be required, and also increase in price. After its introduced, if I CAN I want to make it so female npc's start nuding up over time. There are formlists like "LootCitizenPocketsPoor/Common/Rich" I want to try to scan for and set the NPCs as nude so it feels natural with the game. At a certain point the nudity required law will be in effect, and all of them will be naked. I'll likely do the same with the collar exemption law when that kicks in.

Kind of annoying when you have to have a conversation while in a scene. Happened with the latest .9.2 version.

Before the sex event I call to pause the nudity crime, and it has a 15 in game minute buffer. I actually found the opposite issue from it where because of that pause it wasn't detecting nudity after the 15 in game minutes was up. I want to resolve this ASAP but I desperately need 3 things: 1 - did you go into the MCM, go to debug, and hit "Reload Mod Objects"? If not, please do. If you are on an older save, maybe the property doesn't exist and isn't being set. 2 - can you send me a screenshot of it happening? That will make sure its my mods nudity detection and not some others. If it is another I still want to stop it, but I need to know what mod it is. 3 - can you send me your papyrus logs from this happening? Yeah SL Survival was such a big cool mod but all the features had so much potential for expansion. Tolls and Kennels were one of the few things no one had really touched and I felt like they had enormous potential for worldbuilding, and I feel like petty crimes have potential to kind of push things together so I hope I can do them justice. I feel very good about my tolls at the very least, as well as my system for crimes and punishments. As those expand I am confident they will make things more interesting. Time will tell if I can nail the Kennels but I am excited to get to them because I have so many ideas

Okay running version .9.4 did the reload mod objects and turned on the debugger, when I was wearing a leather bikini c top and bottom, AND showed three things with a yes respponse, showing bra, showing underwear and showing ass, LMAO debugger said AND had player nude, swapped the bikini c top with clothes, AND showed no yes responses and LMAO reported AND had player clothed. So I have to ask does LMAO register showing ass or just any yes response in AND as nude for the nudity crime?

So LMAO checks 3 AND stats for nudity, if its installed: Showing Ass (ignores if the player has a whore license) Showing Chest (ignores if the player is male or has a whore license) Showing Genitals So in that case, since AND says its showing ass it would trigger the nudity crime. Maybe I should implement a "simplistic mode" for nudity detection, where it just checks AND's "Nude" and the first pass pre-keywords for my detection system for a safety backup. That way if players feel its over sensitive they can try that - it will be UNDER sensitive, but thats better than over sensitive. That being said, I just checked in my own game with leather bikini c and leather thong c so I could see what you were seeing and it wasn't being marked as showing ass for me, and the nudity crime wasn't showing the player as nude, as intended. So I think there might be something wrong with your keywords in that particular case. Were you able to replicate the guard confrontation during a sex event though?
