Loving the discourse about type1/type2. never catch me seething that much over gender

It's bigger than just "seething over gender". It's about censorship and changing (already established) narrative.

I'm seeing a lot of gorgeous presets on the nexus, but i've yet to see any NPC Replacer packs, which this game sorely needs. The men look fine for the most part, but not a lot of glamours out there on the women side. It makes me think it must be hard to do. Can anyone clarify if it's difficult, or has the modding community simply overlooked this feature. Might be they want to cover all Npcs, and that takes time, but a proof of concept would be great. Npcs aren't memorable in Oblivion like they were in Skyrim imo.

The game release was one week ago. We have to wait for that.

Yes the females in the game are as bad or worse than the original game and that is saying a lot. They look like there were hit in the face with a frying pan.

will pray hard for NPC improvement mods and also for a fix for some of the really nice companion mods from the old game.

as for the WOK stuff, ya, well kind of expected it but frankly this fine old game does not deserve that kind of trash.

It genuinely is just outrage for the sake of outrage.

My opinions aside about what i think of the "anti-woke" crowd, type1/2 body options have been a thing in games for almost 2 decades now; Elden Ring which is arguably one of the greatest games of the 21st century had them and nobody made a fuzz.

my guess as to why people might want it changed back is the potential for updated mods to base some gender-related stuff on the body types, and having them just be "1" or "2" could cause some confusion there. I feel a better solution though would be to rename them to "masculine" and "feminine".

There isn't any possible modding confusion, the Type1/2 stuff is only on the character creation selection menu's localization string, everything else has male/female in terms of internal files and such.

It is idiotic to care either way, both groups should be able to have it their way as neither path hurts anyone else. Make it say what you want and tell everyone else to mind their own damn business.

Now can you please talk about the actual game and mods that matter?

yes but I mean in terms of deciding if your character is male or female. I still stand by the idea that "type 1/2" has always been dumb and "masculine/feminine" is a better choice, actually giving a description of the shape without linking it to gender identity. It also allows for easy addition of a third that always seems to be missing, "androgynous", which I would pick basically 100% of the time, if it were a fucking option.

Do want some spicy mods but idk how well unreal 5 mod tools are compared to creation engine

most of the unreal 5 part is just models, textures, and maybe sounds (maybe more IDK but those are the major ones), all of which is well documented.

Is there a way to make a pregnancy mod like Fertility mode from Skyrim but possibly more advanced?

If you wait a couple of month the definite answer is a MAYBE. There are quite a few things that need to happen first, unless you'd want a textbox popup.

The least of which are a modded skeleton model and an animation framework.

I mean Inzoi a game running on the same engine has a pregnancy mechanic couldn't someone use the code from that or something?

No, and not just because OBRE is running game logic using the Creation Engine and not UE5 itself...
You generally can't just "copy-paste" mechanics from one game to another, even on the same engine.

Taking something out of a life simulation and implementing it in a first person RPG?

You realize those are two majorly different games, yes?

It would have the same effect as you trying to repair the drivetrain in your old honda accord with a drivetrain from a modern kenwood semi truck.

Both technically do the same but every mechanic on earth is able to tell you that it will not work. Ever.

I'm just waiting for more races, the reason I go back to skyrim from time to time is actually because of the race mods, I enjoy using the succubus race as you can make an attractive woman but I also enjoy the elin race to make a cute character.

But right now there is nothing of my interest to play the game, it is on my wishlist but my friends don't understand why currently I haven't played the game yet.

It's not a new race, but the racial body morphs mod may make things more unique for you to be interested.

unfortunately that stuff i'm not in to, the original races from bethesda are pretty ugly with only the fan base making actual attractive races to be on the game. Thank you for looking out for something though

Well it is probably framed in a dumb phrasing but I meant to say based off of The Creation Engine and The Unreal Engine a pregnancy mod would be possible
