Oh nice, they have the Romanceable Judy mod for CP2077. I'm generally opposed to censorship, even though I find most of the mods they ban detestable, but they definitely lost my support when they started on benign mods like this one. Nexus' mods have just lost their minds

Wanted to edit previous to specify that it's ideology-based censorship I'm generally opposed to. LL's ban on characters like Maelle is based on legal concerns, is necessary and understandable for the site's owners and hosts, and is a different animal entirely.

 

And please don't take this as an invitation to debate LL's rules, or implementation thereof, just drawing a distinction between voluntary censorship and legally-mandated.

Posts involving sexual content or nudity of underage characters will continue to be deleted, as per site rules. This shouldn't be shocking to people, as an adult site that allows and directly hosts the files of many mods of varying content, we are also personally responsible for the posted content. And realistic character depictions of underage nudity are simply one of those illegal things we are not willing to risk gambling everything on by hosting. It drives away users averse to such content, and attracts a particular type of user we would rather avoid for legal reasons.

 

We aren't looking to censor people for what they like. Honestly, I couldn't care less about mods involving Maelle, but we have legal concerns, and as the person directly at risk here, I do not want to stir the pot with realistic depictions of nudity on underage characters. Period.

Anyway, I just beat the game. I've been struggling with depression and motivation to play games lately, but this game just burned through all that and is easily my favorite of the past few years. It's hard to imagine a better candidate for GOTY so far, but we still have seven months to go.

 

I loved the music, the story, and the combat. After 40 hours and being an annoying completionist who had to complete every side thing and every collection, the game started to wear thin to the point that I just wanted to be done with it. There were honestly way too many ultimately meaningless things in Act 3 that led to mediocre Pictos or a weapon you didn't care about. The game is 10-15 hours too long if you are an annoying completionist like myself, but if you are a main story only person who doesn't hate themselves for missing random meaningless content, I think this is nearly a perfect game.

sometimes its just a preferance, some dont care what the character wears, look at all the silly customes you can wear in some of the more series games, if people cared, they would wear nothing but the first outfit but as they dont care they can still focus on the story while wearing a clown mask and snowman outfit. So having a nude body istead is generally the same thing.

But regardless I wasn't intending to have a discussion about it, it doesn't effect me. Like I said, just my two cents; people can do with it what they will or ignore it entirely!

I know just wanted to put out an opinion about what you said, as i said, its depends if they care or not and as you said, it also depends if they see that its out of place so they more focus on that instead of whats being said, I think streamers play for intertainment more then the story though....

This game is definitely special. The main theme is quite heavy and the final choices leading up to the ending has succesfully elevated it to a real piece of art similar to a classic movie or book.

 

So yes, I agree that it is highly recommended to play it first with no mod, no joke outfits or anything that may diminish the tone the devs intended. This is one of those rare games that once in a long while got made and will leave its mark in the gaming scene for a long time, just like RDR2 or Witcher 3 or Nier Automata. The first playthrough is incredibly special and I doubt there would be another experience like it any time soon; especially if a great story and superb delivery via perfect harmony between audio and visual and gameplay are the criteria.

 

After the first playthrough, you will want, no, crave, NG+ anyway. Then you can mod it there. But the first time? Make sure you enjoy it to the max the way it should be. It will be absolutely worth it.

haha totally agreed with this. I will just use them to see the "whole package", and because I'm an unstoppabel gooner.  But will end my first run of the game with everything vanilla. Just then I'll be running around naked and poking people and everything with my hard magic wand.
