It depends on the generation of games I'm not too familiar with gen 2 downward but for gen 3 i usually use hex Gen 4 I use Nitro/Tinke to extract narc files containing the sprites from games before opening them with specialize tools Gen 5 is pretty much the same thing I recommend checking out some rom hacking/sprite editing video on youtube. I figure most of us here learn it through same way 2

I couldn't get the gender or adult specific xDelta files to work so I'm just going to manually change the files. I kind of found all the overworld sprites, but it's hard to tell who's who with the .RCGN files with all the preview shifted. I tried Tinke, but I think previewing the RCEN files won't work unless I manually preview the palette files beforehand? Else the preview panel will still use the last RCEN file?

You have to select the palette file, select the jumbled RGCN file right before it, and then select the file right after the palette file. It gives serious flasher vibes. Like, even in the context of this being some sorta nudist AU, the open coats just look creepy.

Now I'm getting a person asking me a question over and over again.) If you actually want to know and aren't just asking to be repetitive, she'd probably be a nudist in-universe, since the AU we have has clothing not exist at all, for the most part.

Also, can we use the resources files directly in the `a` root file to insert/replace the game files? I assumed I cannot since they're often in png format. I've been using a fully moded file as a donor but those wouldn't have the few gender exclusive files, as far as I'm aware. 1
