Feel free to ask the servers your questions. I think that most of the problem was just not asking the original artists if we could edit their sprites, though I could be wrong.

I finally finished the new overworld sprite sheet format!

There are a lot more done than I expected, but we still have quite a few to go!

we already did Heart Gold and Soul Silver so the majority of the sprites required for Johto should be available to port over assuming not too much is either incompatible or unique
though I'm pretty sure the team is focusing on mainline game a lot more than fan game so its still possible for a nude mod for the rom to be made, you either just gotta learn to make it yourself or find someone that's willing to do that

It appears to be one that imports HGSS into GBA rom. Trainer battle sprites either reuse GBA graphics or use crunched HGSS ones in the game. But from my quick view with GBA tools I have, it doesn't seem to support modifying... modified rom. Hexmaniac Advance cannot locate much of anything and Nameless sprite editor conveniently does not support anything other than FRLG.

Pokeathlon didn't make it into the game, the hat stays on anyway

in the motherloads/pokedotto/kari/feral folder what romhack is the character sprites from? it does not say in the folder their also in Japanese

mGBA works for me.

Though do make sure to actually apply the patches to a ROM first. The files we share won't work unless attached to a .gb or .gbc file.

What I need you to do is this.

Go to the discord and download all of the exclusive ROM Hacks.

Most paramount are download links for Ducumon Iku 1, Ducumon Iku 1 Randomized, Ducumon Iku 2, Ducumon Iku 3, Ducumon Iku 4, Ducumon PA 1, Ducumon PA 2, and Ducumon PA 3. There could be others, but those are the ones I am aware of.

Then, once you have these patches, please upload them here in zip (compressed) files.

I would do this myself, but I, for whatever reason, keep getting errors whenever I try to connect my phone number to my discord account. So, there's nothing I can do.

I want to do this for preservation. Even though I certainly have gripes with Ducumon Iku 1 Randomized, it still deserves to be preserved.
I don't want to lose these ROMs forever. Others deserve to play them.

I fear that the discord too will be temporary, and then, the games will be wiped from the internet forever and nobody new can play them.

Can I count on you guys for this?

@personmcguy sent me the last Hilbert sprite, so now the protagonist overworld sprite sheet is all finished.

We just have to deal with applying these to the 3D textures and then we'll be finished with the protagonists.

Here are the current unedited sprites, as a reminder.

I think that sometime next week I'll split them up based on priority. (Whether or not they appear in 3D textures)

The only ones I know for sure are higher priority are Alder, Female Ace Trainer, Male Ace Trainer, Parasol Lady, and N, though there definitely could be others.

You're thinking about Heart Gold and Soul Silver.

Those were the only games with a shaved and unshaved version.
