The problem seems to have been resolved. It seems that non-ASCII characters were used in the user name and that was the cause of the mod not being recognized. I fixed the path and now it is working fine. Thanks for the great mod!

It seems I'm just stupid because I can't manage to get this to run. Is there maybe a video guide on how to do this because I have no Idea what I'm doing wrong. Maybe some stuff is getting lost in translation or idk but it doesn't work.

For those having trouble installing the mod:

  1. Download the files and extract them.
  2. Put the files in the folder "C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod"
  3. Open the Paradox Launcher, go into Playsets and press the "Add more mods" button at the top-right.
  4. You should be able to see the mod now, the "Varied Monster Girls".
  5. Add and enable the mod.

And just make sure that when you start the game you selected the correct playset.

So, I downloaded the files again, unzipped the first one since the second one can't be unziped, had both of them in my mods folder, opened the launcher but the mod didn't appear. So either my stuff is busted or you skipped showing one step

Hmm that's weird, maybe try the IronyModManager? That's what I use, although Paradox's launcher hasn't given those problems, but I do recommend IMM over Paradox's.

If you're windows user just pick the win-x64.zip or win-x64-setup.zip file.

Does it need compatibility patch with Lustful Void? and should i put it near the end of load order?

 

First time using it so kinda wanna know.

I really do like this mod but it really needs a better description of features. I Probably shouldnt need to dive into its files to realise some races have unique techs, traditions and traits.

it doesn't really need one since the two are a completely separate mod that adds different thing to the game, although it does have some overlap like traits but species specific, and put every hentai mods under LV (except for titillating text, put that one above LV) to make sure any changes made by them to LV is applied

This mod really need normal description, and change log. I thought it just another portrait mod and definitely not expected giant mod with bunch of events, new crisis, paragons, ship equipment and many-many more.

Thank you so much for this wonderful mod!😄 It's sad that it was banned on workshop, and i didn't even know what in workshop was such an interesting mod.

Yeah i really like this mod. I tried it with other content expansion mods + LV. It works fine, i guess. Like it is kinda bloated because there are a lot of species traits in both mods. And it's also kinda unbalanced. But in general it's fun and it's a new experience.

But i also have a few questions. First - does it forces it's own portraits to be used by other empires insteaad of vanilla ones?  Because in my galaxy like 90% of the contacts are using portraits from this mod. If this is the case, then i can turn off my other portrait mods temporaly. 
Second - are there any other mods designed to be played along with this one?

The character portraits will only affect the monster girl species and have no impact on other species. However, this mod will lock the species of Fallen Empires, Curators, and similar factions to monster girls. It should not have critical compatibility issues with most mods.

Hi, this is a really cool mod. I have a question though about the vampire trait. How do you get zombies to spawn when you purge pops? Do you need the Necrophage DLC?

Is there a GIT, discord, or other place to keep up with development, with it being off of steam, and not as much visibility here?

@Dur_Mel yeah, the description is terrible.

It adds a new set of races, special traits for them, sex focused buildings and districts as well as some origins, sex techs, sex ship parts, also 3 of the races (angels, Slimes, Lamia) have extra techs and tradition trees beyond the extra techs the mod adds. it also has some extra acension perks and vampire have a unique mechanic around pop purging. kinda covers all of the core stuff.

It also adds some paragons but they are terrible for the most part.

No, normal purge is OK.
