A Mod for The Sims 4

- Introduction -
The Red Velvet Agency is an adult-themed mod for The Sims 4 that currently allows your Sim to become an agent specializing in model recruitment and photoshoots. This mod focuses on both fictional roleplay opportunities and functional gameplay elements, creating a new gameplay path currently working with scouting potential models, conducting photoshoots, and earning simoleons through an agency-style business model. Another Focus on this mod is interacting with clients—NPC Sims (currently male only) interested in meeting signed models for various generic or specific interactions, including chats, tipping, and companionship.

 

 

- Features (so far) -

• Become an agent (male only for now, young adult to elder) who scouts female models (female only for now, young adult to adult only) in the Sims world
• Have models come to your Sim's home for photoshoots
• Navigate different comfort boundaries - photos can range from clothed to nude based on model preferences
• Some models may agree to additional acts (requires TURBODRIVER's Wicked Whims)
• Earn Simoleons by submitting model photos
• Receive payouts
  
   

Please Note: This mod is currently in a very basic and early stage of development. I haven't had the opportunity to play test it extensively, so there may be bugs or issues that need addressing. If you encounter any issues, please provide detailed bug feedback including what happened, when it happened, and any error messages you received. Detailed reports will help me fix problems.  Any feedback from the community would be greatly appreciated!

- Installation -

1. Download the .package and .ts4script files

2. Extract the files to your Mods folder (Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods)

3. Make sure script mods are enabled in your game options

4. Start your game and enjoy!

 

 

- Quick Start Instructions -

Agent Quick Start

1. If you are seeing this message then this section is in the process of being edited to the new version. 

2. Open your Sim's phone and click on the Red Velvet Agency app.

3. Register as an agent through the app (male only for now).

4. Begin scouting for models (female only for now) by using the "Discuss Potential Opportunity" social interaction with other Sims.
   

5. Go into the phone menu and select "Post Opportunity for Scouted Models," then wait for recruited models to reach out to you for photoshoots.

6. When a model calls and arrives, you'll first "Explain the Business Model" and pay them 15 simoleons for showing up.
   

7. Next, you need to "Discuss Comfort Boundaries" and the model will tell you what they are comfortable with.
   

8. If the model agrees to the terms, the "Ask about posing for a photo" interaction will appear.
   

9. Each model now has comfort levels that can be changed using the "Ask to reconsider boundaries" interaction.
   
   

10. If you decide not to work with the model, use the "Explain Agency Incompatibility" option in the Red Velvet Agency pie menu to remove them from your scouted list.

11. After the model agrees to pose, use the "Take photo of model" option from the same pie menu (ONLY small portrait modes work).
    

12. You can also ask if the model is comfortable with underwear posing.

13. For nude posing options, you'll need TURBODRIVER's Wicked Whims installed.
    

14. The photo will appear in your Sim's inventory - click on it and select "Upload to Red Velvet Model Forum" to submit it for payment. NOTE: There is a 40 sim minute timer set on the upload after taking a photo. So its best to upload as soon as the photo arrives into inventory.
    

15. Earnings from views and tips will be sent to your Sim within 12 sim hours.

16. Once the Agent Sim reaches Agent Level 2, an option would appear to discuss special opportunities and then to sign a contract. This would enable the model sim to be available in Signed Model Opportunities and Client Interactions.
    
    

 

Finding Clients

Once a Sim reaches Agent Level 2, an option to look for clients will become available.

 

Clients in this mod are NPC Sims who are interested in meeting models for various generic or specific interactions. They pay the agent after each meet-up.

Steps to find clients:

1. As an Agent Sim, approach an NPC Sim (currently male only) and select the Make Small Talk interaction.

 

 

2. Next, select Talk about Each Other’s Careers/Professions.

 

3. After that, choose the Show Some Photos of Models interaction.

 

 

4. Finally, select Discuss Potential Arrangement. Once this interaction is completed, the targeted NPC Sim will become a client and gain access to all client-specific interactions in the mod.

Client Fundraiser Event (Social Event)

Please note that this event is in an experimental stage.

 

The Client Fundraiser Party is a social event where an agent (requires Agent skill level 3) can set up a social gathering for multiple clients at once, allowing them to spend time with multiple models. Both clients and signed models can be selected, similar to other social events in The Sims 4. The goal of this event is to create a house party–like situation with additional interactions that trigger chats, tipping, and various levels of intimacy.

- Known Issues -

• For Outfit switching, the sim must have an outfit in that selected category.

• For the Ask To Change Outfit Interaction, if you ask this to a model from a played household then it would redirect you to their lot. Its best to use this interaction for an NPC model for now.

• The phone interaction for posting model opportunities resets on each game/lot load.

• If you have more than one Agent in game, they will share models, this is intended but looks buggy for now since this is WIP.

 

- Planned Updates -

• Next, I am planning on adding foundation to the model trait (make it playable) such as webcamming, selfies, client interactions.

• Additionally, I want to see if I can inject my own custom poses for the photos. 

• Adding female Agents and Clients, and male Models.

• Adding more depth to client interactions and client reactions.

• Adding depth to comfort boundaries for scouted models.

While continuing to work on the next features I want to add to this mod, I noticed a few issues with v0.2.0. So I wanted to upload v0.2.1 with a few fixes while I finish up the new feature update. If anyone is having issues, please comment and let me know. Thank you!

Also, please make sure your XML Injector is updated to the latest version, or else you will not see half of the interactions for this mod going forward.

I tried the mod, and I love it. I do have some suggestions if you're interested. I didn't see a response when I clicked on "Discuss comfort boundaries". Is that supposed to say how far the model will go? If so, there could be an interaction (intuitively) called "the fine print". That would force the model to do nude, but she gets an embarrassed buff for one day. I'm still seeing what the mod can do, so I would like to see if I can pick the spot to make the photos for the better background. Finally, and this might be asking a lot, can this tie in with Businesses & Hobbies. That way the agency could be the Sim's business. Looking forward to any updates.

Right now, "Discuss Comfort Boundaries" is just a friendly interaction, but I do have plans to implement a sorting system based on what each model would be comfortable with in future updates.

This is an interesting concept. From my current perspective, forcing a model to remove clothing, even with an embarrassed buff, would technically be considered coercion, which would break the consent barrier. Even though this is all fiction in a fictional game environment and its just 1s and 0s on a screen, I am firm on maintaining consent as a core aspect of the mod. That being said, I am still fairly new and have not yet joined any adult creator networks that offer resources on this type of content creation. I do appreciate the detailed idea and will do more research on it. Right now, I released a most basic version of the mod as a "testing the waters" phase while working on a larger update.

That is definitely in the works! I plan to add interactions to the object platform from the Moschino Stuff Pack or create my own version of an object (though it would still require the Moschino Stuff Pack). This would allow models to stand in a custom location of your choice.

Hi!
 

You don’t need a photo studio for this so far. You can take photos of the model by selecting Take Photo of [Sim's Name] in the Red Velvet Agency menu. The directions might be a bit confusing (my apologies for that), but first, you need to ask the model if they are okay with posing for the photo. Once they agree, the Take Photo interaction will show up in the same menu.

I didn't have anything specific in mind. The agent sim would create a small business, and it would serve as their office where the model would go to for the photo session. That office would have the sets used in any photos. The photo studio that was mentioned in the previous comment would actually be very useful with your mod. It would provide the backgrounds I mentioned in my original comment.

Thank you for the great suggestions! Yes, I definitely plan to add a 'take photo' option to the professional photo camera available in the buy menu.
 

Regarding editing model outfits in CAS, I'm looking into this feature as well. It would be a nice addition to have that level of customization.
 

I will look into expanding this mod into the B&H pack after the next few updates for this mod. Thank you for your feedback!

Did you by chance load your game while your Sim was in the middle of using this model's interactions?

Hi, sorry for the late answer, I loste my internet like 5 hours after I post lmao. 

And no, I just installed and updated a bunch a mods I used before because I stopped playing Sims for a while and then I wanted to try your mod and this happen. 

And I don't know if this is linked but I loaded an old save of mine to play, so maybe it is the reason of that glitch.

Love the concept of the mod. However, as a user with an assertive female sim, I would love to be able to use these features with my sim. Is using the functions of the mod as a female sim on the 'things to do' list? Much love.

Are you asking about having a female Sim with the Agent options? I am planning to add both a female Sim Agent option and a male Model option in a future update.

Hello there ,I noticed something weird ,When i take the model pictures using the interaction from Maschino Stuff in buy mode ,i get the notification that i should upload them quickly ,but right after the pictures are taken I don't get the Upload interaction (I can still upload pictures taken from clicking the sim directly but not the mounted camera)

 

Can you please look into this?
