Can a native english speaker please explain how to use the "DanceTogether" v5 mod after we've:

1.) Downloaded the mod.

2.) Generated the FNIS animations.

3.) Enabled the esp putting it last in the load order.

4.) Load skyrim

5.) Create new character

6.) In-game install Sexlab through SkyUI's MCM menu.

7.) Enable DanceTogether mod through SkyUI's MCM menu.  (this creates 3 new spells for you, but the text of the spells are unreadable/garbage letters)

8.) ??????? <--- this is where I'm stuck on.

Casting two of the three spells selects the characters (first spell is to select self, 2nd spell is to select a target) to be in the dance formation.  The third spell supposedly starts the dance, but the selected actors don't do anything when the spell is cast.  I just see "$start dance" text appearing in the top left of the screen.

We are also missing an important step that is not visible anywhere:  Selecting the dance.  Currently there is no way to do this.  Can someone explain how to achieve this invisible action?

You need the English Translation file. Can't remember where I got it, but here is the archive I downloaded:

Dance Together English MCM Menu.7z

You will also probably want to hand-edit the resulting ...\Data\Interface\Translations\dancetogether_english.txt file to clear up a few errors and/or omissions in the above archive. Here is how mine ended up after I fixed all the issues I could figure out how to fix:

dancetogether_english.txt

Hope this helps you.

I have this same problem and I have verified the English translation file. Is this compatible with XPMSE I ask because when I invoke the spell (which is not translated) my character locks to the default pose and remains until I deselect the MCM menu option.

EDIT: Well I just answered my own question the problem is the list in the Menu file is not represented in the available dance files so I just need to match the 2 lists to make it work .Now I will look for the other available dance files to add. Only thing is the spell names are still unreadable but 3 spells are easy enough to figure out.

Thank you for this great dance animation Mod the  work is outstanding :)

Khm...really in version 5 not have file -dancetogether_english.txt ???? :-/

I also have the same problem with the dance spells not being seen in English text just weird characters instead.

I do have the English dancetogether_english.txt in the \Data\Interface\Translations\dancetogether_english.txt folder but in the game when i goto use the spells there is no change to the text.

the 3 dance spells are these:

top one - make your own character a dancer

middle one - make a targeted NPC a dancer (target another to add more dancers)

bottom one - start dance

This is about the Dance Together mod, not yours.

I know what they are it just annoying having bad characters like this ??????????? instead of the correct wording

Hi guys, does anyone know where to get the dance animation that's in this video?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGJH-5MCki4&feature=youtu.be

And also, as a suggestion, I would think having the links to the different dances in this thread on the OP would be very helpful.

It's more than one dance.  The first is Ass Shake from Umpa's modder's resource pack on the nexus.  It comes with many mods.  I believe the second is the belly dance from IndexMemories' ShakeIt!.  I could be wrong and it might just be another one of Umpa's dances (possibly Umpa's Snake Dance).  It is one of those two.
