CBPC tits are like rocks

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

New to the (new to me) CBBE-3BA physics model after years using CBBE-3BBB (which offered either full SMP or full  CBPC on mod switch)

My female's tits are like rocks. I initially set the physics for CBPC Lite 1 (I think) with SMP breast and everything else CBPC. When SMP was enabled breast would act on gravity, although they seemed to lack in collisions. When in CBPC mode they were like rocks, with a possibility of some movement (although very little if any)

Tried CBPC lite 2 (I think) with Breasts now CBPC. Same deal, but now, no matter whether in SMP or CBPC mode (via the 3BA button), tits are rocks.  They do respond to collisions a bit though.

Neither choice produces any visible movement in the ass or thighs.

What am I doing wrong?

It sounds like a bad install. Try wiping all of your body mods out and re-installing 3BA and CBPC.

It's possible that leftover 3BBB data is conflicting with the new physics settings, but this is only a guess. It could also be an issue with your XP32 Skeleton, so if the issue persists try reinstalling XP32 and/or choosing a different skeleton version.

Regardless, double and triple checking your install and that you have necessary requirements couldn't hurt.

Definitely sounds like a bad install. I have CBPC and my girls are bouncing all over the place and with collisions. Since you didn't post a link, I have to ask the obvious question, did you install this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21224 ? It should also load -before- 3BA. And last but not least, don't forget to install the XP32 skeleton which as you know should load as last as possible.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that in my setup I went with -full- CBPC when I installed the mod above. Anything SMP-related is being handled by FSMP

EDIT 2: If you're lucky and everything seems to work except your character is stuck in T-pose when you load a save, use Pandora (version 2.4.0-beta) or whatever is your choice of animation file generator. For some reason it works after running it.

Try removing version CBPC 1.6.3 - it's redundant

Also, make sure your CBPC install was for the correct version of Skyrim (aka, the one you're using).

You have two different CBPC installations, therefore - conflict.

Yes, it's in optional files. Yes, it's described as some sort of additional config.

No, you shouldn't install it.

Why? Becasue it says 1.6.3, while the main mod is version 1.6.4. This is an optional file for main version 1.6.3, which is in the Old Files. I suspect it was not updated when 1.6.4 was uploaded and just stayed behind.

It really pays off looking carefully at upload dates and applying golden rule: if nowhere does it say that you should absolutely install it, do not install it.

Also, those Dint sliders. Get rid of those.

Fair enough. I thought it was "just" an "extra" config file and nothing more. My mistake. I reinstalled 3BA, CBPC, and the skeleton after removing 1.63.

still no luck

Skeleton: XP32 ver 5.06

CBPC config (ver 1.6.4)

Edition: Skyrim Special Edition (Preset)
Version: SSE 1.6.1170 (Preset)
Shape: CBBE Slim at 0 Curvy at 100 weight (Preset)
FFS : 60fps (Preset)
Bounce config for 1-breast bone body :  7
Amplitude(s); Normal, Normal, Normal
Gravity: install gravity config

----

CBBE-3BA config (ver 2.48)

CBBE-3BA Advanced Main
CBBE 3BA base: base install, underwear, pre-built Body Mesh, ECE slider compatible
CBBE 3BA ygNord: none
CBBE-3BA Unique: prebuilt body mesh

Base CBPC:
CBPC ini file: Performance (balanced)

Physics Select: SMP and CBPC (lite 2) (SMP vag, rest is CBPC)

CBPC Boobs Physics Preset:
physics preset: Elasticity
physics strength (High): Medium jiggle
physics strength (Low): Small jiggle
Collision Select: (low)small-(high)Big
Gravity: Add Gravity
More gravity: Add more gravity
Push-up (when covered): Add Auto pushup

Belly, Butt, Leg physics: elastic small jiggle

SOS: CBPC RegularSOS
Vag collision: Change
Anal collison: Add

They bounced a tiny bit when I jump, but it's as if they're critically, or even over damped. Maybe I chose wrong in the CBPC or 3BA installation FOMODs?

Unless you know for a fact that you need ygNord or Unique body meshes, don't install them. They can make this kind of debugging difficult.

Try removing Unique Body from 3BA and set your Shape in CBPC to CBBE Curvy.

Also don't forget to rebuild your body in BodySlide (CBBE 3BBB Body Amazing) whenever you install/update/reinstall 3BA

I use CBPC only, had been using it for years and never had any of the issues you described. It just works (tm). And I never even had to anything out of the ordinary bar just installing it with all the correct requirements and making sure the deploy rules are set in the right order.

I'm not really sure what seems to be the source of your constant problems with various systems you keep making threads about. This is not a jab in your direction by the way, just a genuine astonishment.

Although I academically understand your point without "ire", of course it's a jab. Because although I read a lot of support threads that have nothing to do with *my* needs, I never (or at least very rarely)  see this "shock" expressed to others in other threads... And yet yours isn't the first time I've seen that "not a jab" directed at me.

I never used CBPC exclusively in the past, (nor SMP exclusively) but I swapped between (full) SMP and (full) CBPC routinely when I was playing under 1.5.97 and had CBBE-3BBB "ver 1" installed. Without any issues. whatsoever. back and forth, without having to choose some gimped version of CBPC with a tiny bit of SMP or some gimped version of SMP with a tiny bit of CBPC. And moreover, with both CBBE-3BBB and BHUNP installed and working.

Said it before say it again. Not a "gamer".  Skyrim is effectively the only game I've played since FFXI back in ~2005-2008, and my computer game title history (aside from passing glances) can be counted on two hands over the past ~45 - forty five, not four or five - years (perhaps six or seven games in total, not counting stupid crap like windows solitaire or majong).

How can a surgeon not know how to wire his own home? How can a qualified plumber not know how to design a microcircuit? How can a baker not understand how to run a power plant? How can a car mechanic not know how to design airfoils? How can a carpenter not know how to perform surgery? How can a "program" author write such dismal instructions for getting his or her "program" working as he or she envisioned that questions about getting CBPC or 3BA or any number of  *foundational* mods working correctly keep flooding into support forums day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year?

I'll offer a plan B, if this thread has reached a dead-end:

I can't tell you how to install these mods, or how they should function. But by inspecting your setup, I can tell you what is going wrong and what needs to be done to reach your expectations. RustDesk/TeamViewer, you let me know if this sounds reasonable.
