Would you be willing to look into making this work with AGOT, since Slavery Reimagined has its own compatch?

I am rather reluctant to do this. The issue is that I already have too many mods for my ability to maintain them after each vanilla and AGOT release, especially major ones. This takes me 3-4 days currently and I mostly can't afford it. I am even considering dropping AGOT support for some of my other mods.

The CPR compatch for AGOT should still be pretty small, so I may decide to add it at some point, but I don't want to promise anything.

I have downloaded the mod, however, when I force for prostitution it still cause me to lose a level of piety.

The penalty depends on your faith's prostitution doctrine, see the README.

Quote

Unlike Carnalitas, forcing slaves into prostitution costs just piety, not a piety level, if prostitution is shunned by the ruler's faith. This penalty applies only if the slave is not already a prostitute (have the Prostitute trait). If prostitution is criminal, forcing slaves into prostitution costs a piety level as before.

With "Carnalitas Historical Prostitution Doctrines" submod, which you are likely also using, there are a number of faiths where prostitution is considered a crime, see the mod's README. If you don't like this you could disable that mod, or simply choose a faith that is more tolerant of prostitution.

Hello!

I was wondering if you have any plans to include the Prostitute content from the Carn sub-mod Mundi? There is a Culture Tradition which I'm not sure works anymore and maybe some events.

Thanks for all the work on more prostitute content!

may I know if prostitutes are able to get pregnant on their own? If so, what are the chances?

Not on their own, but they may be targeted by events for AI characters (especially stress-reducing events for nearby Rakish rulers) that involve sex and get pregnant as a result. The chances are very hard to calculate precisely, but working prostitutes are rather likely to get pregnant once every few years.

No plans so far, and I am afraid I would not be able to engage with mods other than Carnalitas, at least for the time being.

Reforming Asatru and choosing to make prostitution to accepted for slaves seems to have no effect whatsoever, I still get hit with a 25 piety penalty per slave prostitute regardless.  Not sure if it's just this mod or an interaction with other mods causing it.  Relevant mods in my playlist are this mod, the historical doctrines submod, and Court Whores.

I think we have the same issue. Even when you choose to accept slavery for the new religion, after creation it got set to shunned. Tried making it accepted, criminal, still becomes shunned after creation.

I just released version 0.5.0 of this mod, see file. This version is compatible with CK3 1.17.x, if you are still on 1.16.x use the older version specified in the description. For more information, see the description and change notes.

Thanks for the feedback. Indeed, there was a bug in the "Carnalitas Historical Prostitution Doctrines" mod causing the existing prostitution doctrine to be always overwritten by the "historical" doctrine when a new faith is created (or an existing faith reformed). It is now fixed in version 0.1.2 of this mod, which I also just released today.

@Freakyalt01 This should fix your issue as well.

Where is Carnalitas 2.11

Will be there in a couple of days, see Carnalias Discord. I added it so I wouldn't have to update those descriptions when it's out. Meanwhile everything works fine with 2.10 as well.

Is there a way to force an NPC to start working as a prostitute and get the trait? Or do they get it randomly?

If they are your slave, you can just use the interaction on them. Otherwise, the game generates characters with the trait via various events. At some point they can decide to stop working as prostitutes, then start again, etc.

In case anybody asks: The CK3 1.18 update is much larger than the previous ones, so unfortunately I wasn't able to update all my mods yet (I have 6-7 in total). Carnalitas itself is not yet officially updated either, although there is a test version in Discord. I think it will take 2-3 more days to have both Carnalitas released and my mods based on it updated.

@pharaox Hi a few questions

1. you mentioned Carnalitas Historical Prostitution Doctrines as a separate download but didn't provide any download links. I also couldn't find it anywhere on the web

2. I took the become prostitute decision and gained the trait. How am I intended to make money out of prostitution? I've never encountered the event screenshots on the mod page

You can download the doctrines mod by clicking "Download this file". There are 2 downloads, one of them is the doctrines mod.
The events are there, they are just not that frequent - there is an yearly event that may be negative or positive, and there is a more rare event where you are propositioned by another ruler. The idea of these events is to add flavour, not to make a lot of money.
If you are a landless adventurer, there is also a new diplomacy contract to "entertain a ruler".
The README contains a lot more details on the above.

Was the recent update an essential update or just a translation update?

Version 0.6.0

Hey there, love your mod. Could you rework the 'Visit Brothel' decision to function like the Adventurer's 'Visit Holding' mechanic? It would feel much more immersive to physically enter the location and manually select a prostitute, rather than just clicking a menu button. Also that it seem Paradox adding a soft integrate of population control, do you think that it will help if the "Visit Brothel" idea just spam too much prostitute?
