Hi KinkyKatie89, thanks for taking over this great project.

It one of the best mod for the game that add a lot of fun to it.

I love the addition you did to the mod, such feet lover, though I'm not I like the diversity for my Sims.

 

I would like to make a small request.

Is it possible to get a 50/50 chance to change back to regular cloths from the towel every 60 sims minutes, or something like that?

Sometimes I got all my sims in the house in towel for most of the day. 

Also, the option Get dress can became enable to change back manually.

I've never experienced mod settings getting reset but I've noticed my game settings reset whenever there's a graphics driver update. The Options.ini file has a line starting with 'lastdevice' which seems to represent the driver version and if this is out of date all the settings are wiped. I back up Options.ini so whenever it resets I copy the new 'lastdevice' value to the backup and replace Options.ini with that file.

...So this shouldn't affect mods then? So I'm guessing that's something else, then, weird...The non-mod settings don't bother me too much, but yeah something is causing my saves to not load anymore. No crashes or anything, it just remains stuck on the loading screen.

Hello,

I have tried to find something on this, to no avail. So now I am asking. I downloaded the latest version of KW and now my game crashes every time I try to edit the teen nude outfit. Is this an issue with the KW mod or Smooth Patch 2.1? Since it is the only two mods I have downloaded in a while, and this is a new occurrence, I was wondering if KW was the issue and if there is a fix for it. Thank you in advance for your time.

Hi,

 

 I’m having an issue with skill journal, not updating correctly, regarding the sex skill. If my sims has sex with their partner, it’ll recognize it correctly. However, if they cheat, it’ll not up the number of sims the sim has had sex with. Can anyone help me understand why it’s not showing the correct number of sims sexed with?
 

i.e.

sim has sex with his wife

oral 1(1).

 

((error) sims has sex with someone else 

oral 1(2).)

 

the journal should show instead 

oral 2(2).

The smooth patch is probably the culprit and is involved with CAS, and new KW builds are much more involved with CAS. So, there might be a mod conflict or outfit corruption, you can try removing one of the mods and starting a new game to see if it will let you edit the outfit. If it’s mod related, it should CTD again. However if both are removed and it CTD, it’s the outfit.

Never mind, figured it out, my animations needed to be inside of KW folder in the mod  folder for the stages and animations to register. It correctly shows number of sims my sim has sex with.

So, I'm guessing it has something to do with the conflict between Smooth Mod and Nazzr's Master controller. I can edit the nude outfit with a dresser no problem. It is only when I am in CAS via MC that the CTD occurs. The workaround is simple enough for me. However, I thought I would post my findings if someone else has a similar issue.

There is no conflict between Smooth Patch and MasterController if you have the latest version of Smooth Patch:

I don't have the smooth patch installed, but upon starting a new game after adding this version of KW and adjusting typical settings (KW and Nraas mods) as I usually do whenever I start a new game, I had a CTD incident.  Of course it has happened when I've had older versions older versions of KW, and even when I haven't had KW in my mods repertoire.  I have the Delphy's dashboard, which I use after adding anything to my packages folder, so maybe my CTD situation is just random?

I almost forgot what I was going to ask, but did the gloryhole gate get added to this version of Kinky World?  I ask because while in build mode, I found "The Hard Wood Gate" (from Animated Woohoo), despite the package file not being in my mods package folder.

A lot of the objects needed by animations have been merged into the ONIKI_Objects package, so the separate package for them is no longer necessary. I'm not sure which version added that particular object.

I was going to say that I didn't have it when I had KW Build 399, also pretty sure that it wasn't in 409... must have been added in a later version.  I'm not really concerned about it being added, it's more that I was just curious about how it ended up there.  Thank you for promptly letting me know.

You would ALSO need to update any animations you have, but you could skip it for now and just throw all KW-related files (animations, props, etc.) into a folder on your desktop.  

 

As a side note: I can’t say 100%, but I would guess that since KW integrates deeply into save files, you’d need to at least disable it in all connected worlds; so it might be worth doing the Porter  

Well that explains a lot. I wasn't sure if 409 was needed first as the folder of 437 is labeled -----full 🙄 I'm guessing those working on updates cannot do that already do to 409 being Oniki's work? It would maybe explain why animations were limited and/or showing "no platform available" or whatever. Time to redo starting fresh again 😆

So I dled 438 as it implies FULL this time and I'm somewhat pleased with new toys but still curious why all the downloaded animations have ceased working. 🤔😒 I have virtually all previous available animations installed but they are not working now or infused. Quite troubling as only a few animations are available and apparently those included in 438 update. Maybe I'm missing something? 🤔

I can't speak for Katie, but as the person who makes the moodlet icons, I'd be down to make more male focused ones! A Pre-Cum moodlet immediately comes to mind. If you have any other ideas, you can leave them here for Katie to consider! ☺️

I assume you have the latest and full set of KW in place.
So, if it was my game, I would remove the packages as shown in the pic.

Attached the promised update of GER Localization for KW438 ver. 7.8 for a may coming update.
Note : Up to now some of the new strings did not show up in my game.
Those I left as is for the time being.

Well I just had my 1st CTD using this mod though not sure why. My sim was using the dance pole when it happened but believe it was in relation to other goings on. I had just made a few settings changes related to pet spawning. I have the reports saved but unsure to whom I should upload them to for diagnosis.

Still have yet to figure out why only 438 limited animations are only available though I had no issues playing all of the other animations by others with 409 mod by Oniki 😒 Disappointed and frustrated.

That is WAY more animations than I've found 😳 They actually load and work with 438 on your machine?

Well, the mod issue I just, removed all the other mods I had on here, guessing they won't work with this version anymore...game loads fine now...still unsure on what causes the game settings to reset, though. Apparently that still causes my saves to no longer work, forcing me to start a new file for the millionth time. I don't get it...it's random, too...
