So after sticking with a very old version of KW (because the newer versions got rid of something I liked. >.>), I eventually got sick of the bugs that version had and moved on to these...trying to set stuff up and get things working...but it's a nightmare. A few other mods aren't working right (and I posted in their threads), and this one...I have the Pets expansion, animal dicks aren't showing at all, enabled the options and everything, they're just invisible, basically...No idea what I'm missing. :c

Is this a new install of the game? Do you have any mods that are working? Sounds like you don't have the modding framework set up correctly, or you're nesting the package files too deep

This isn't necessarily true. I just tried with a couple of sims. My sim isn't wearing any panties, and when asked to show them, she replied that she was going commando. The other sims asked her to prove it, and she was glad to show him.

I have mods working, it's just some of them aren't working. Are the overrides/packages folders not allowed to have folders inside those? Figured it would be easier to organize everything, there's no folders inside of those, though.

What do you mean? Do the sims refuse to show it, or do they show it and you see a censor blur, or do they show it and you see a barbie doll body with not details?

 

For the censor blur, you need to make sure to have a mode that removes the blur.

 

For the barbie doll bodies, you need to have a mod that adds nipples, vaginas, and penises.

 

If the sims refuse to show anything, then you need to increase the sim's skill level in the exhibition skill, which can be done by getting the sim alone in a room, and have them repeatedly use the kinky > exhibition menu to remove their top and or bottom, and then get dressed again. This will increase their exhibition skill, until you get a notification that they need to take or send a kinky selfie to increase any further. For non-selectable sims, the mods will automatically increase their skills over time.

I think I worded my response poorly. I don't have any issues when sims aren't wearing any, which is what I meant about the different dialogue/animation in that case. My issue is when sims are wearing underwear they always refuse to show it.

You can have nested folders if your Resource.cfg is set up correctly for it

...After taking another look, I think nested folders isn't the problem, since some mods that are in nested folders actually worked. Man this is so confusing. x_x lol

So does KW work at all for you? Is it just the animal stuff you're having issues with? I never play with pets so I don't have any experience with that aspect of the mod.

KW-wise, yeah it's the animal cocks not showing up, other problems I'm having involving other mods like breast physics and nude textures.

Hmm looks correct to me. And you're saying that when you go in game and click on your sim>KW>Debug>BodySelector>Set Custom Body For This Sim and then you choose your bottom there that when your sim undresses they still have JV's default bottom and not the custom one you've selected? Hmm that's puzzling. I can only think that for whatever reason yours and JV's bottom are conflicting with each other or something, but I had both of them in my game during testing and didn't run into any issues. Well, at least you found a workaround with XCAS! 😅

Hi, could you answer a question for me? I would like to restrict interaction notifications from other Sims outside the family or at least limited to the active character's lot. How do I do this? I'm tired of receiving notifications from Sims in another household.

In the KW settings there's Feedback Level, Notifications Level, and Announces Level. Those cover the different notifications. Setting Feedback Level to Selectable, and Announces Level to None should restrict most sex notifications to sims in your household.

Tried this and it never worked for me...

If they have it, I heard it's actually a StoryProgression setting, haven't tried it yet, though. Been busy trying to get everything to work to begin with, and almost figured everything out.

Hello.  Not sure I'm reading this right.  This doesn't mean that I start a new game with 409, save & quit and then replace with the mod package that is in 426, does it?  I'm interested in trying out 438; does this mean that the same process will have to be done?

...What causes the Sims 3 settings to reset? Because apparently this also resets mod settings, which basically ruins saves for me...

I'm not sure what it is, and it seems to happen at random.

No, you do not need to start the game in between. In fact, with build 438, I don't think you need to set up 409 first, I think it includes everything you need.
