That's not how the script is supposed to work, is it?  I wonder if the script is clashing with the MTL translation patch?

I just found a location in the machine code where I could pause execution. I do not have access to the source code of course, so it will always be imperfect. I will not be updating it (except for Steam version updates), but anyone who is motivated enough is welcome to contribute to improving it.

@amorrow28 I see.  Well, I guess I can make short videos of crafts and other things, while using the parts of the script that are working properly.  Mostly the HUD remove option.

 

Oh by the way...are there similar issues with the Hajimari and Kuro 2 camera scripts?  Just want to know now before I buy those at a later date.

Part 1: Body Adjustments

Ever since finishing the Hajimari no Kiseki remake mod, I’ve been thinking about how to improve Falcom’s original body model. However, Falcom's default body mesh was just too poor. I optimized multiple versions but was never satisfied. In the end, I decided to create a completely new body from scratch, which took me at least three months to develop.

Just as I was working on this, the PC version of Kai no Kiseki was released. So, I made up my mind to go all-in and use this new body model to create an entirely fresh mod.

Looking at the comparison image below, which model do you think looks better at first glance?

Improvements:

  1. Better Textures

    • This time, all body textures are 2K resolution, providing a much better visual experience. You can now see finer details, including textures on certain body parts.

    • I actually tried 4K textures, but the game crashed. I'm not sure if it's due to my PC's hardware limitations or if Falcom simply doesn't support textures beyond 2K.

    • The two areas that everyone cares about the most, the upper and lower body, have both been optimized. They now look more realistic and clearer. The model includes a large number of details.

  2. Proportional Adjustments

    • The old model had breasts positioned too high, making the upper body appear longer than normal. The new model has a more natural proportion.

    • Anatomically, breasts should align closer to the elbow level, where the upper arm and forearm connect.

    • However, I couldn’t lower the breasts too much because it would cause clipping issues with animations. Fixing this would require modifying a massive number of animations, which would be too much work. So, I settled on a balanced solution.

    • Additionally, the new model’s skin tone is slightly more reddish than before. While yellow undertones are typical for Asian skin, I found that a redder tone looks better in-game.

    • I also varied the skin tones among characters to avoid everyone looking identical. For example, girls with smaller chests tend to have a slightly more yellow skin tone.

  3. Waist Optimization

    • Falcom's models had excessively thin waists, which didn’t match real human proportions.

    • Increasing waist width actually improves realism and enhances immersion without making the character look bad.

  4. Shoulder Width Adjustment

    • The new model has slightly broader shoulders, preventing the top-heavy look where the lower body appeared wider than the upper body.

  5. Elbow Joint Refinement

    • The old model had sharp, unnatural elbow joints, which have now been smoothed out.

  6. Foot Size Optimization

    • The old model's feet were too large, which made the characters look awkward.

  7. Hand Detail Enhancement

    • The new model features a denser mesh for hands, improving curves and details.

  8. Climbing Stairs Optimization

    • Why did I include this in the body adjustments?

    • Previously, you probably never spent much time on stairs because there was nothing interesting to see.

    • But this time, I want you to take your time climbing stairs!

    • If you look closely, you’ll notice improvements in back details. The old model had visible polygon edges, while the new model has smoother curves.

  9. Comprehensive Character Model Overhaul

    • I created fully nude models for multiple playable female characters and most NPCs.

    • Each character now features different breast sizes, skin tones, and details. Some characters have body hair, while others don’t.

    • Since 3Dmigoto doesn't work in Kai no Kiseki, adjusting colors was extremely tedious. Every small color tweak required entering the game, checking the changes, then exiting.

    • My PC isn't very powerful, so my computer froze multiple times throughout the process—it was truly painful.

    • In Kuro1/Kuro2, many players requested a nude mod for Quatre. To make Quatre feel more feminine, I even gave her a new hairstyle.

I tried to ensure that each model has slight differences—whether it's in the size of the areolae, the shape of the breasts, skin tone variations, or the presence of body hair.

For flat-chested characters, I didn’t strictly follow the official design. Instead, I gave them a slight breast curve, which I believe is more appealing.

There are still many models that I haven’t showcased in screenshots, so I encourage you to explore them in-game!

In total, I created over 200+ models, covering nearly the entire game experience.

Part 2: Clothing Adjustments

In the Kuro no Kiseki 1 and Kuro no Kiseki 2 mods, I added a large number of outfits, including those from Hajimari no Kiseki and Sen no Kiseki. However, when I personally play the game, I often find myself using only a few outfits, and there are many clothes that I barely look at. I wonder if you all experience the same thing.

Therefore, when creating mods for Kai no Kiseki, I decided not to create a large number of outfits all at once.

  1. First, I hope you all use the nude models more because they have been finely optimized with a new body model.

  2. Second, I plan to slowly add more outfits over time, instead of making everything at once.

Since this time I feminized Quatre (chr0004), and added some characters that were already playable as females, the full list is as follows:

  • Agnes (chr5001)

  • Feri (chr5003)

  • Risette (chr5005)

  • Judith (chr5007)

  • Elaine (chr5110)

  • Fie (chr5112)

  • Rixia (chr5113)

  • Renne (chr5114)

  • Shizuna (chr5117)

  • Nadia (chr5119)

  • Jolda (chr5120)

  • Altina (chr5121)

  • Lapis (chr5122)

  • Celis (chr5302)

  • Towa (chr5327)

A total of 16 female characters.

In Kuro no Kiseki 1/2, because 3Dmigoto can be used, I was able to set multiple forms for each outfit. But in Kai no Kiseki, 3Dmigoto cannot be used, so outfits can only be handled through mdl files.

This means:

  • In the past, different forms could be switched in the same mdl file, but now each form requires a separate mdl file.

  • Every additional outfit will lead to more options in the menu, making the process of changing clothes more cumbersome.

Trade-offs in Outfit Quantity

Due to these limitations, I decided to:

  • Keep only the original form and the nude form for each outfit.

  • This means for every new outfit I make, I need to create 16 (characters) × 2 (forms) = 32 models.

  • Players would need to purchase items 32 times in the shop to get all the forms of the outfit.

Additionally, many plot scenes in Kai no Kiseki force characters to switch back to their official starting outfits, so I decided:

  • Replace the original outfits with new ones, so they will appear during plot scenes.

  • The original outfits that are replaced can be purchased in the shop later on.


Outfit Introductions

I will try to choose outfits that match the original style to maintain the immersion of the game.

Quatre (chr0004)

At first, I wanted to keep his robe and create several variants, but after three days of attempts, I couldn't get a satisfactory result. I even encountered a bug that caused his face to deform. Eventually, I gave up on the original plan and chose the current outfit.

Agnes (chr5001)

  • I chose a cute style outfit for her.

  • The Goddess outfit underwent a lot of modifications:

    • Adjusted the front and back skirt physics, with each change requiring a game test, which was very time-consuming.

    • The original Goddess outfit had too much fabric, especially the huge skirt, which didn't fit the idea of sexy & nude mod.

    • I kept some features but kept only the front and back fabric pieces, making her look more shy.

  • I designed her a tight and sexy outfit, of course, black stockings are her trademark.

  • Falcom deliberately suppressed her skirt physics, causing it not to float up.

DLC Outfits

  • This DLC includes only a summer swimsuit with 16 characters, each having one.

  • Future DLC outfits will follow this standard, with each character having one, to reduce the workload.

I've always enjoyed the process of creating mods, and I sincerely appreciate everyone’s support and enthusiasm. However, producing high-quality mods requires a significant investment of time and effort, involving modeling, texturing, animation optimization, and more. Sometimes, additional tools and resources are also necessary.

Many people may believe that mods should be shared for free, but the reality is that "working for passion alone" cannot sustain long-term creation. A free model means I can only work on mods in my spare time, but if I want to make them more refined and professional, I must dedicate even more time and resources.

In fact, while developing the Kuro no Kiseki mod—especially in the past two months—I have worked almost 10+ hours a day without rest. At times, I rack my brain trying to bring ideas to life, testing multiple solutions, scrapping and reworking everything just to achieve a more satisfying result.

Modeling, texturing, rigging adjustments, physics optimization—each detail requires patience and meticulous refinement. These efforts are not just a matter of time but also a process of accumulating skill and experience. If this were just a casual hobby, I wouldn’t invest this much, but since I’ve taken it seriously, I want it to reach the highest possible standard.

However, the reality is that the effort put in and the returns received are not proportional. Without proper support, I would eventually burn out and be forced to abandon modding altogether.

I don’t want financial constraints to stop me from creating, but I also need to face reality. The mod is not being sold for profit, but rather to ensure that I can continue dedicating my time and resources to producing even better content.

Mod Access: Purchase Link 
If your CLE version is the Steam version, and it will automatically update to version 1.02, which will cause all breasts to collapse. The solution is to download the 1.01 patch and copy it back to the game’s root directory. So far, no issues have been found.

It would be good to create a demo version of the Kai Nude & Sexy 1.0 mod.  I have two reasons.

  1. For consistency's sake.  You already have demo versions of your CS4 and CS5 (Hajimari no Kiseki/Trails into Reverie) mods, so why not create one for Kai no Kiseki?
  2. And having a demo version of this mod can convince those who try it to buy the full mod.  Meaning more customers!

 

I've bought Kai on Steam and enjoyed your earlier mods, along with your mods for Trails into Reverie and both Daybreak games.  The Daybreak 1 mod is a classic on its own!  I can't ever thank you enough for your hard work, and amorrow28 for inspiring you.

Hello if download mod nude for this topic  the mod nude work on  the legend of heroes: trails through daybreak english ???  I'm not good at modding games and I don't know much about it, but aren't the character models the same from the Japanese version to the English version? In theory only the language of the game changes.

For Kai mod to Daybreak I/II: if the mods were made in MDL v1, they are compatible. If they were made in v4, you'll need to downgrade them to v1. Check this.

How to downgrade MDL v4 mods to MDL v1:

1. Download Kuro MDL Tool and extract it.

2. Place the MDL files into the Kuro MDL Tool folder and run 'kuro_mdl_export_meshes.py'.

3. Navigate to the chrxxxx folder, open 'mdl_version.json', and change the number from 4 to 1.

4. Run 'kuro_mdl_import_meshes.py' to repack the MDL files. Question 

This step 3. Navigate to the chrxxxx folder, open 'mdl_version.json', and change the number from 4 to 1. I have open file mdl_version.json with notepad and change 4 at 1 and save . I do wrong this step ??? But you Not say how open this file in instruction. I have python 3.13.7 and kuromdltools 1.62 the last version .

Are you sure you saved it? I exported your mdl, but mdl_version is still showing 4.

 

Also, 'common' and 'dx11' folders should be placed inside the 'asset' folder. So, the folder 'big tits agnès naked' should contain one folder called 'asset', and inside 'asset', there should be two folders called 'common' and 'dx11'.

I solved it, I downloaded another mod of Agnes nuda by gggnog which is a mdl file version 4 I downgraded it to version 1 and it works in both daybreak and daybreak 2. Then I discovered why the first big tits mod by gggnog that I had downloaded did not work and my game crashed, the reason is that the file was named chr5001_c55.mdl which would be the top swimsuit but when I extract with kurotool inside the folder there are files with chr5001_c02 written which are the towel so I renamed the name of the mdl file with chr5001_co2.mdl and now that mod also works by selecting the towel in game

All the Bunny Girls will now look even more provocative, as their lower body clothing is reduced to a single, thin strap. Additionally, I’ve modified the shading on the stockings, as I felt the original shader provided by the official release wasn’t quite fitting—this is, of course, just my personal opinion. He deleted all his mods and every post he's ever made on this site i think he is doing something elsewhere he got fed up with the easily offended, I don't know if he gave permission for them to be shared though

I checked and I do have most of them, just trying to figure out if I can share them he left with no explanation to this thread or maybe he did and I missed it cause he deleted it @amorrow28 can I share them only asking you cause you organize this thread

Been looking for woman02_body.dds and woman03_body.dds with pubes if someone has them edited don't wanna attempt to edit them myself until I checked also the official english version of this game is approaching hopefully they don't bork modding or make it harder

I replaced the male characters with female characters after watching this tutorial.
But one problem arose.
As you can see in the screenshot, only the top of the character's head is visible when supporting.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

What a pity! Before I learnt some mods made by gggnog, he had already quited.

I guess the reason why I came here late is that I'm not a fan of the Legend of Heroes series.

Wonder if I can get those pregnant mod... XD

 

For years I have seen many modders with talent quit and drop their own database.

I was once a modder and perhaps I still am.

I feel guilty that I haven't yet fulfilled my promise of optimizing a mod of Ryza from Atelier Ryza 2.

In fact, it was precisely during that period that I was confused and upset about my future career.

It may have been long or short before I finally made up my future path——Computer graphics & Mathematics

I appreciate the work of you modders. But I've just had my fill of the file formatting games.

So I will develop a 3D game myself however long it will take.

Fine, whatever.

Installation for Kai no Kiseki (Chinese / Korean release):

Place the "asset" folder in your game installation directory and overwrite the existing files.
Make sure to back up your files before installing the mod in case something goes wrong.

 

Installation for Trails Beyond the Horizon (English / Japanese release):

Follow this

 

Uninstall:
Kai no Kiseki: restore your backup, then delete every .dds file containing "UDW" from asset/dx11/image.

Trails Beyond the Horizon: remove the .p3a file from the "mods" folder.
