I don't know if this was asked but are you using mod organizer or another manager? If you are did you check for any conflicts between CBBE and others? What mod is the top from?

I use Mod Organizer. According to MO, it's not being overwritten and it's fifth from last mod loaded.

Is this with every armor mod or just specifics? What was the elven princess top from?

Anyone know why the pants on this outfit would disappear after tabbing back to the game from the equipment menu? Pants appear and look great in menu then poof! Any help is greatly appreciated and of course thank you to Sorceress for everything you do for this community!

 

*edit* Never Mind. Im an idiot and loaded too more than 250 mods. Removed a few and it worked fine ?

Perhaps you have installed "Devious Devices". And that hides certain armor parts. If you have installed "Device Devices"...go to the MCM and search for the tab "Devices Underneath". There you can select which part to disable. Hopefully that helps.

Standing still and view from behind are ok.

I posted instructions on how to convert an item to CBBE HDT with bodyslides a while back. You will have to find them as I dont have a link. I would suggest using a simple outfit first to make getting aquainted with the conversion process easier. I don't recommend any outfits with added bone controls because they complicate the conversion process. Find the best reference body the outfit uses, then morph it to CBBE, set the base shape, delete the old body and original bones, add the HDT Body, sliders and new bones. Comform the sliders to the new outfit and use them to fix issues between 0 and 100 weights. Once all the issues are fixed, copy the bone weights and save the project.  I suggest recopying the bones any time changes are made to the meshes of the outfit. HDT physics are based on the positon of the meshes in relationship to the body and once the bones are copied,  any changes to the meshes changes their positon which may cause clipping and other anomalies. Hope this helps

Comments of my exeperience

The skirt was the hardest part, because fringes were too far apart for OS to copy.

I used another outfit as body reference to fix the gray areas.

As other dresses the thighs clip a bit when running.

 

I have to research how to add different outfits to the same project.

And how to manage groups in BS.

 

As a bonus I can format my posts better now.

 

I plan to add the apron dress and other accessories later.

Here is the updated version.

Please report any issues!

When copying bones to the project, you have two sliders, The first controls how far out the copy goes (width) and the second the intensity of the copy on the vetexes.  If sliding them all the way right doesn't cover the whole outfit, you can change the numbers manually. Also use the 'Mask weighted Vertices' to check what areas are have not been painted. You can either increase the number range manually or just paint the areas still need weighting.  Don't forget to clear the mask before saving the project.

I appreciate the tip.

The annoyance I am having is that the skirt behaves like wide legs trousers. 

Reminds me of Morrowind robes a bit.

 

The art of weight painting is still beyond me. I just discovered by chance how to increase strength of the brush.

I am a bit puzzled about the new permissions to mod on Nexusmods.

It is my understanding that admins applied blanket denial to Modification (including bug fixes) and Asset use permission (under any circumstances)

Then I guess the authors need to log in and allow according to their individual policy ethics.

I sent a personal message asking for conversion permission.

The author was last active Jun 09 2019 and it is unknown when will log on again.

 

On the other hand Bodyslide creates a separate project that has to be activated by the user to modify the assets.

 

Does somebody have in-depth understanding of the implications, or can provide a link to a article or discussion on the topic?

There are some more bugs possibly.

The underwear is not included, please provide knickers form elsewhere(eyeing Osare one piece). The ones form the set are beyond my ability to fix.

The apron on the right is smaller bust friendly.

My upload gave up the ghoust. Here would be the original mod. Back track it from 6 days ago in the thread. At least the conversion got trough. Third time is the charm.
