Working on the two possible paths for sex mods. As they are incompatible to each other you'll have to decide for yourself which one you are going to use.

Rough draft:

Deleted. Official release is up.

Beginners House

Cheap enough for the start.

Still have to add decorations to the entry and the livingroom. With the rest we'll see... Got to earn more simoleons first.

One thing I would definitely recommend for beginners is installing ModGuard by TwistedMexi. Recently, there have been some issues related to malware in ,ts4script files. However, .package files seem to be safe.

Thanks. I'll add it to post #2.

Too bad we actually need something like this.

Update to 1.2

Added 'K- Clothing'. Now the infants, toddler and children got clothing too.

Better animals will be added later. Got conflicting informations so I have to run more tests.

Removed ~500 CAS items that were broken.

The newest patch killed a few mods, those are gone now.

Exceptions, that still let you run the game, should be gone too. I really wish the logs would be easier to read.

The update for the NSFW side will take a day or two more. The 'new' Sims 4 was a bit rougher than expected.

The malware issue is relatively new, as it had started only a year ago. Besides Mod Guard, it's best to give new script mods some time before downloading them and also avoid questionable mod sites and other sources.

As for mod conflicts, I can also recommend using Better Exceptions, a very useful tool!

Added 'Addon: NSFW'.

This contains the option for either selecting 'Wicked Whims' or 'Devious Desires'.

Note

I don't get why there so much infighting and hate going on there. I tried to find out about it, but to me it boils down to the typical he said/she said...

Spoiler

I don't know the authors personally and I'm not going to pick sides here. So I prefer to stay neutral about it and tested both mods as they are right now. They are different, but both work as expected (and that is really all I care about).

And in case someone got an issue with that stance and tries to stir up something about it:

Spoiler

Did you pay for the computer in use?

Did you pay for the software in use?

Are we at work and you the superior?

Is there something illegal going on?

If the answer is 'No' to those questions, then STFU and buzz off. You're in no position to tell me, or anyone else here, what can or can not be used on their own personal computer. Its none of your damn business!

Suggestion to add to the girly section https://www.patreon.com/posts/100145772?pr=true

Generally I'm open to suggestions and in all of my previous guides I added suggested mods (if I liked them 😉) too. But I'll never recommend or add mods that are hidden behind a paywall.

I might mention them in the thread, anything more will only be done when i know that the mod will be for free soon (aka 1-2 months after first release).

Which reminds me of Madlen's release of the big 2024 pack (checking that one atm). O.o This will take a while...

A very sensible position... buuuuuuuut the mod I suggested is not pay-walled and the packages are in-fact available to download on the very page I linked. 🙃

Sure about that?

After looking at the preview pictures I'm not going to like it anyway. The items that modder got are 'too much' for my taste. I mean, headphones? OK. But cat or bunny ears on absolutely everything?! Eh, nope, I'm running into the opposite direction... and that as fast as I can.

Hair physics don't work. I added a mod for it, but sadly it looks like it isn't supported.

A few other mods only had a very short visit in my build here.

Found Privacy Protector. Something similar to 'Better Exception' and now I got to dig what is better for the game. WW or DD got an influence?

Mods for 'Goths' are somewhat lacking so far.

Mods for 'Magic' have to be checked. I heard something about mods for evil witches.

The werewolves still look like something to cuddle...

Chasing down conflicts with the new tool. There were rougly 50 conflicting mods and  I'm down to 14 10 3 now. Hopefully there is a way to remove them easily.

Animations are down to five broken ones from the previous ~200. I can't do much about the overlaps, but, as all those animation problems get ignored by the game, they arn't a priority. This is more a 'nice to have' than a real requirement.

I'm also going to chase down the mods in the wrong language. Well, i do know french quite well, the problem is the language... 😉

Broken CAS items went down by ~100. Those buggers are really hard to pin down...

Now to the, at least for me, relaxing part:

I'm reworking the 'Starter house' and I am fixing a few things i didn't like.

1. Finally got a roof, that does look right, for the left side (that one required 'some' tweaking).

2. Fixed the misplaced windows in the kitchen.

3. The (planned) pantry now got the right size.

4. Fixed a few missing windows.

Landscaping and shadows will come next.

Final version of the 'Beginner Home' is up. Its quite difficult to include decorations with this limited budget at the start.

Spoiler

I also prepared it for the next stage so the expansion won't be as jarring as it was before.

And I found the mod that was causing roughly half of the plants showing up in the wrong language. It was the HQ kit for the plants (K-707 : THE NATURE MOD). I'll remove it from the guide with the next update. If you want to you can already remove it now.

With the 'broken' CAS mods I do have a suspicion what they are (and I hope I'm wrong). Finding replacements could become problematic... Nonetheless I'm on it figuring them out.

Info

The hunt for 'broken mods' is done. I checked the whole guide for errors but there is nothing major wrong. The small things I did find wern't gamebreaking and I will remove them with the next update (just have to reformat everything for the use with Libre Office).

The addon for 'Goth' is up.

I added a 'Bug Section' for minor stuff i found out. Nothing gamebreaking so atm it is more a 'for your information'.

Hi Aylis.

I was wondering why you use Microsoft Office/Excel to organize all the links. Wouldn't it be more convenient to use Google Sheets so that you can edit everything online and users could read it without downloading?

@Simpossible_xx

The answer is simple. 😉

I keep as far away from Google as I possibly can. I don't trust that data-kraken... Same as with all the other 'free' services on the web.

Update to 1.3

This is mainly a bugfix update.

SonyaSims hair have either been flagged (CAS Error) or got replaced. I will keep an eye on those left.

A newly broken mod got replaced.

Removed redundant mods.

Moved a few mods that were in the wrong place.

Started 'subgroups' to make it easier to find mods.

Added 'Game Tweaks' to 'Fixes'. You should really check that authors site to customize the game to your liking.

Testrun (WIP)

Started alternating colors for lines (like 'white' and 'light grey') to make the spreadsheet easier to read.

Not at all. This mod protects your privacy and blocks outgoing connections and execution of binaries. Just in case you ever download malware or wonder how many mod authors add trackers to their mods to get a notification whenever one starts the game with their mod installed.
Of course EA gets a notification too and they have a privacy policy - the mod authors don't have one and never ask for consent before collecting random data.

PS: I used DD which doesn't contain a tracker.

@Oops19

Thanks for the info. I thought it was like BE plus the privacy protection.

Visual Update for the 'Steampunk Addon'.

No new mods, just a visual rework for Libre Office.

Colors are fixed, subgroups included, notes updated, etc. In the end all files will be looking close to this.

So, main file is reworked, like the other two. I'll upload it next weekend, when i have gotten the next packs from EA. Then i can test a few more mods and fill some gaps in the guide.

I found a big change for Kiijiko's eyelashes. He updated his mod so the eyelashes show up in the correct place for CAS. The ones for children havn't got an update yet, so for now I'll include the older versions in case someone needs them. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people didn't know about them at all...

The addons 'Girly' and 'NSFW' will, for now, stay as they are. I found a few things to add, but not so much that an update is required (unless i find a hidden bug that has to be fixed asap).

Gone through a few versions of updated SonyaSims hairs. It is sad to see that the textures got updated but the bugs in SAC were not fixed (and the author is aware of them). As i'm not willing to wait for a fix that might never come (last update i checked is from this month), I'm forced to replace as many hairs as I possibly can.

I planned for a few gameplay extensions, fixing small things, and including the new eyelashes. Then perhaps a few more addons (like one for magic). But I see no other way to handle the CAS issue. So there will be a bigger patch and most of it will be caused by the hair.

Sorry in advance for that.

Burning the midnight oil I'm working on the last 22 entries left.

Main: only the infant mod from SonyaSims is left. All the other ones got replaced with mods from another author.

Now rechecking everything to make sure i didn't accidently add some anime-hair. Braids and dreadlocks (I added both for Sulani) are fine.

Update

'Standard Game' to 1.4

Combined 'Textures' and 'Override'.

Removed all hair from SonyaSims and replaced them.

Added all mods i had for 'Werewolves' (was not enough for creating an addon).

Checked a few extensions to the game and 'officially' added them.

'NSFW Addon' to 1.1

Cleaned up the groups and added a few more mods.

Added two-color sorting, subgroups, updated notes etc. to both.
