Ok I really can't get this to work

Hi guys, I'm having really big troubles getting sexout to work at all. I swear I read and applied this

to the very letter but the game just crashes on startup. I tried the process 3 times now, each time from scratch, but always the same result.

 

I also read this portion of the faq:

 

 

 

Q: I installed the mods and now the game crashes at start up.
A1: You are missing a required esm or esp file or they are in wrong load order. So make sure that you've installed all the requirements and the load order is correct. You can run FNVEdit to look for troubles. If a file is in the wrong order or missing a master, FNVEdit will stop loading and tell you whats wrong. You can also untick mods one by one until you find the culprit. Most likely you're missing either Sexout.esm, SexoutCommonResources.esm, SexoutPregnancyV3.esm, SexoutSlavery.esm or SexoutLegion.esm, or they're not in the correct load order. But this all depends on what mods you have installed. Read through their descriptions to find out what is required!

 

Now the thing is, I don't have sexoutcommonresources.esm but why would I have it? I thought the whole point of the instructions from ritualclarity was to make a package from meshes and textures that doesn't translate into a .esm? There is no mention anywhere in his post about SexoutCommonResources.esm.

 

My loadorder, after main falloutNV.esm + dlc stuff, is 

Sexout.esm

Sexoutsharedresources.esm (which I untick because as far as I can tell it's supposed to be useless, tried ticking it too anyway)

Sexoutslavery.esm

NVrefugee Outfits.esp

Raiderchains.esp

SCS Combat Armour.esp

SexoutZAZ.esp

The Mod Configuration menu.esp

 

in my package manager i have:

Bnb BodyExtender Compatibilityetc

SCR Resources

SexoutNG Core

SexoutNG Data

The Mod Configuration Menu

 

that's what happens following those guides... i really have no idea where and how i have messed up. Sorry guys I really tried but coming from skyrim modding this seems all incredibly difficult and senseless

Generally if you are crashing on start up it means you are missing a master file. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34703/? FNVEdit download it install it run it read each error it pops up at the bottom fix it and repeat till no errors pop up and it finishes loading everything then try running the game again.

So I assume SexoutCommonResources.esm is indeed the missing file, but I don't understand where should it come from... according to the guide (or at least what I make of it), SCR should already be loaded through the package manager

Dump SCS Combat armor for a start the guides tell you to only install the meshes

 

You also need an actual Sex plugin to initiate sex, try something simple like SexKey or HookUps

Forget it I figured out the problem, I had misunderstood how SCR is... I found the .esm file in a different thread and placed it correctly, now it seems to work

Thanks! That was just my next question coming up... basically I'm only interested in a plugin that allows me to initiate sex through dialogue (pickup lines or whatever), which one would you suggest?

Also I assume that I have to find a male body replacer that accounts for an erect penis, like in Skyrim sex mods?

Try SexoutSex, which is basically the plugin to initiate sex via dialogue.

You can find the SCR .esm through the downloads section. Ritual's guide is really for gathering, organizing & installing the meshes & textures SCR looks for.
