DeepBlueFrog Posted December 27, 2013 Author Posted December 27, 2013 Hey, so I finally decided to hop in and give the new-and-improved SD a try, but it doesn't quite seem to be working for me, and I'm not sure why. Below I've pasted a snippet of my papyrus log where I got enslaved. Basically the beginning of the log shows my character giving a couple BJs to customers (with the WorkingGirl mod), until Vorstag takes offense to her nakedness and attacks (Lover's Victim). He wins the brawl easily, puts a collar on her and fucks her. All this works wonderfully! Then, while enslaved, I tried taunting Vorstag, and kept getting prompts that he was going to do something, but he never does if it involves animation. He did force-feed me alcohol once, but no rapings or beatings, despite the flavor text warnings of such. Anyways, here's the log... at the end with all the 'temp0 temp1 temp2' stuff, that essentially seems to repeat all the way to the end of the log, where I saved and exited the game. Below I've pasted a snippet of my papyrus log where I got enslaved. Basically the beginning of the log shows my character giving a couple BJs to customers (with the WorkingGirl mod), until Vorstag takes offense to her nakedness and attacks (Lover's Victim). He wins the brawl easily, puts a collar on her and fucks her. All this works wonderfully! Then, while enslaved, I tried taunting Vorstag, and kept getting prompts that he was going to do something, but he never does if it involves animation. He did force-feed me alcohol once, but no rapings or beatings, despite the flavor text warnings of such. Anyways, here's the log... at the end with all the 'temp0 temp1 temp2' stuff, that essentially seems to repeat all the way to the end of the log, where I saved and exited the game. Then i found that glow ..the light is too weak. And only cover PC during the sex animation. I realy need a effect like torch or cast candlelight could let me see everything around. The darkness means i cant see anything without light. Ok.. I can augment the brightness of the light in the next update.

This quest works only if you have 'Gold for the wicked' checked in the MCM menu. Is it enabled for you?

I decided to disable Sexlab Cumshot, per a suggestion above, then loaded the save again. Got enslaved by Vorstag, but this time after the brawl he didn't rape my char... only collared her. I taunted him a few times and kept getting the 'showracemenu' pop-up to change my character, but no sex. I then tried passive responses a few times and finally did get a sex scene. I then talked to a random mercenary in the inn, saw the 'Help me!' dialogue option and he agreed to free me... after a sexing, of course. Well then Vorstag aggroed and came in to whup my ass, so I ran outside, only to have him catch me and take me out. This time, however, the enslavement wouldn't work right at all, as I'd get the 'Enslavement' quest starting, but then he'd resume attacking me, beat me, the quest would start.... I could also hear the sounds of Sexlab animation playing, but no animation, so I went into Sexlab's MCM and told it to stop all animations. After that I got collared and kneeled, but couldn't talk to Vorstag. I went into the inn, he followed, couldn't talk to him. I used a console command to 'kill' him, but he's essential apparently, so he took a knee. I then used Sexlab Defeat to initiate a rape, which started and went until orgasm, at which point the game crashed. Attached is the whole crazy log.

Cool stories... reminds me one time I got enslaved to a brawler in Candleheart Inn and spent days of orgies earning my freedom (all that because my new master stole a Conjure Storm Atronach scroll as well as Dawnbreaker... which made fighting her harder than it should have been ). I found issues with Defeat overall. Even after making sure Defeat and SD don't overlap much, I am still getting the occasional Master stuck in a sexlab pose or PC stuck in 3rd person view. I ended up disabling SD for everything except 'Player aggressive', so that I can still use the grapple to interact with my masters when I tire of them I figure combats will result in enslavement and sex anyways (sex is a random occurrence during enslavement by the way). I can do without the additional sex from SD for now ... but I can always re-enable it later when it becomes more stable for me.

Overall I'm thinking SD might still be a tad unstable to use in a real game at this point, but I've enjoyed toying around with it. If I can get some help in January as it looks like it, I would say we are only a few weeks away from a stable version. The biggest items right now are restoring the missing dance and punishment scenes and making sure sexlab doesn't interfere with other mods. Problem is - not all mods check if actors are available before starting their own sexlab scenes, which leads to issues eventually. I will have to check what happens to your inventory if you buy your freedom back. I know there is one scenario where the Master just kicks you out and keeps your gear. And if you join your Master, he/she will open a gift menu to allow you to take some of your items back. I haven't reviewed that side of the mod yet. I am still working on tweaking enslavement itself (I just added ankle chains by default to make you go slow and make escapes more difficult since your master can follow you, as well as job requirements to 'help me' so that only people with access to tools can help you... based on their morality, some will still help you for a price and some will help themselves to you before telling you they can't free you and they don't care ).

I guess you don't get anything they equipped back. Joining works just as you'd assume it would. They like you, and all usual SL dialogues are there when speaking to them, and they won't attack you, even if you're on a mission to kill their leader or something. It would be neat if there was a way to use fellow faction members as followers. If they were strong enough to beat you, they should make for good followers...unless of course you're that guy who gets whooped on purpose by whoever is there, in which case the followers may be weak and more of a liability that a helping hand. At any rate, it would make the Boethea mission easy, with no reason to sacrifice anyone from the vanilla followers list, and it would make life easy for vampires who don't want to always travel to the castle or break into homes at night. That's where the benefit of having a fairly weak follower would come in handy, actually, as the power doesn't work on strong people.

So, say if you're a male with "only same sex" turned on, "Coveted" will only work for males, and hired thugs will only take you to a male master. Thanks

Exactly.... I have plans to reuse code from Mind Control after I rewrite dialogues for the sub vs dom followers. Eventually I will have a dominant follower that will follow you around to keep an eye on you while you fulfill your destiny as Dragonborn... and take advantage of you in the process. A former Master would be perfect for that role.

Losing equipment is part of the charm of SD and something I will not change anytime soon (there are many things to work on for now ). If you are going to dabble with slavery, you have to accept you will lose your stuff. Sometimes permanently. I would rather consider a parallel mod that would monitor unique or rare items (like Daedric artifacts) and insert them back into the game via loot lists or bosses if they have been lost or their current owner is dead.
