If you use Bane's Defeat some of the fixes he did will be reverted, use at your own risk. Also I will add this information to mod description. Edited November 3, 2024 by wabuke

I feel like most have moved on to Banes with the further improvements. I personally didn't like Baka version because it limits a lot of other mods and mainly made use of his defeat animations.....idk

To be honest, I didn't even know Bane's version existed before you mentioned it. Maybe I will patch his version later as well. 2

Oddly enough Bane never made a separate upload page...for some reason he always just piggy backed off the original support page and upload's his revisions there....doesnt make sense to me and makes it hard to be known and follow. But I like his revision of the two that are out there over the original 1
Þursona Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Can you explain why this patch is necessary? I haven't gotten around to using SexLab P+ yet. Is the regular Defeat 5.3.5 / Defeat 5.3.6 (with or without LRG Patch) incompatible? Or what part is incompatible? I was unable find any information on it searching myself.
tamai Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 You linked to old defeat in the mod description not sse defeat so it took me a bit to realize why the game didnt load, just thought you should know

As mentioned in the description, it fixes several issues with the animation selector when using SexLab P+. If you don't use the animation selector, you don't need this patch. 2
Ghostprofive Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 I'm a complete amateur at scripting but I've done my best to keep Bane's fixes while hopefully including the P+ patch from this mod. I can't seem to compile it in the Creation Kit for unrelated reasons so if it's alright I'd like to share the source here in case anyone else can improve or check it. defeatconfig.zip 2
gurorim Posted January 2, 2025 Posted January 2, 2025 I tried the patch on SexLab P+ V2.12.0 and necro animations only work with SexLab Filter Strictness on Loose. Trying to edit the Tags inside the Animation Settings also doesn't work and soft locks the entire Mod Configuration Menu.
papavitch1 Posted February 26, 2025 Posted February 26, 2025 So i tried 5.3.6 with no patch p+ just says no valid actors. will try 5.3.5 with this patch and see
E-V-Sn Posted June 15, 2025 Posted June 15, 2025 works pretty well, unfortunately still no silent takedowns with P plus

DecoyAcc Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 For anyone with issues starting necro animations, make sure to set bAllowDead = 1 in Data\SKSE\Plugins\sexlab.ini 1
Daker12345 Posted September 10, 2025 Posted September 10, 2025 Does this have to be a Sexlab P+ patch? I am still using the regular version of Sexlab and I would really appreciate a version with just regular defeat and sexlab. I've been suffering with the issue of having a limited animations list for some time now and its really annoying. I tried to look and compare your scripts to the original defeat mod, but I have no clue how to make it so the original has your UIExtension changes for the list.

When regular version of SexLab picks animations it is limited to 128 entries (this is Papyrus array length limit), it is possible to circumvent this restriction but AFAIK you need to modify SexLab itself to make it use PapyrusUtil array tools instead. So nope, cant change it here.

At the moment neither of the player silent takedown or takedown by npc work
himanshushah Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Not Compatible with SexLab P+ 2.17.1 ??? After Defeat scenes are not working.
