So looking forward to the Nora Huntress outfit from you. With this and the SotTR, your mods are amazing.

One day I'd love to give it a go myself after looking into it, at the moment I wouldn't even know where to start modding games.

Funniest thing is - then I'm gonna switch back to TR - most likely bunch of people will start asking periodically "What about HFW? When new Aloy outfits?" not long after the switch 😄

Modding is a form of entertainment for me, my chill time - so I'm gonna take my time with it - things gonna stay that way for quite a while, right until modding will get some new purpose for me one day.

I'm encourage everyone to just enjoy whatever that's already available, maybe try to tinker with things themself and read my moto below 🫡

is modding being your hobby a reason, why you dont want financial support? Your work definitely deserves it!

I‘ve seen some modders, that can be supported via nexus. Or how about kofi?

Hello, HC. Thanks for chiming in about my predicament with Erend and Zo both being bald. The pic shows what's loaded. They're pretty much all yours (except the face remaster and black hair with red tips). I removed those two, but still have bald friends. Can't figure it out. Any suggestions?

You need to have the latest Mod Manager version and use the "Patch hair" command for each individual outfit you wish to use with the hair. That will essentially create a new outfit, that is merged with your selected hair mod, which you then have to activate, and pack for the game. Just follow this YouTube guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wr9Sg7pPunw

Then you can achieve what you're looking to do, i.e. HC's awesome outfits with custom hair mods:

Oh, I've already done that. Aloy works great with the outfits & the hair patch (version 8.5). My issue is with the NPCs Erend and Zo. They are both bald in game.

I use ShaderToggler as a ReShade to hide weapons, but it affects some characters hairstyles and armor, If that’s your case too, you can just disable it whenever you need and re-enable it whenever you want

Yes!! That was it. F3 hides weapons (and sadly NPC hair). How did you figure that out? Kudos.

Looks like we need a mod that hides weapons without using Shader Toggler. For now, I will toggle F3 when interacting with NPCs. Thank you for this answer.

Already extracted files for this top - looks like It shares 3 out of 4 materials with one of my outfits in the working and incompatibility with last material I think can be solved by just replacing all textures for it. So I think there is pretty high chance I'll be able to reuse this top from NPC for Aloy 😎

There is a mod on Nexus by JohnnyDazzling titled Champions Spear Stow-n-Hide. "Hides the Champion’s Spear when stowed on Aloy’s back. All other spear types will still appear on the back as usual when equipped" as JohhnyDazzling says in the description. You still see the spear when striking with it though, but once it's stowed it will disappear.

Thank you. Very familiar with Mr. Dazzling (Gamerlands). Excellent work from him. I mostly use bows for distance attacks. Do you know if there is a "hider" for any of the bows?

Not as far as I know but if you have  Burning Shores DLC then there is a new weapon you can get that will hide when not in use. I don't wanna say to much incase I spoil anything. But I use that weapon when I want a clean back for Aloy.

Can you state the name of the weapon? I have that DLC. Or DM me with it, if you think it's spoilery.

Its the specter gauntlet. When in use she wears it on her wrist. Then when stowed it kinda retracts into her wrist and goes invisible.

I have that weapon. And you are correct how it self-hides. Thank you. It is now my primary. Yay!

No problem. I don't use that weapon much anymore since they nerfed it not long after release, I only use it to hide the weapons on her back.

Is a fix possible for the upper 80% of the pubic hair going blurry when the camera is closer? 

 

You can see an invisible line where the blurriness starts in 3dfman's screenshots above. I thought it was just me having this issue.

I think these are probably always complete textures.

The creator (Hornycopter) would need to create a new texture.

I don't know why every Thread seems to come to this but discussion of the right, morality and/or legality of selling mods (as opposed to providing them for free) is not what this Thread is for. I have just removed a lot of posts dealing with this and any new ones will also be removed. Please limit your discussion to the game and the mods available to it and leaving the cost of paying for mods alone.

 

While LL prefers mods to be free (everyone who "works" for LL has provided free mods) it has no opinion about the right/morality/legality of paid mods. That being said, LL is fervently opposed to using anyone's mods without their permission (even if that permission comes with a price). For purposes here using mods without permission is considered to be piracy and is explicitly forbidden by Site Rules.

 

Now, please make my life easier and avoid similar discussions in the future.
