Always wanted to learn Blender and game characters creation - found out that creating adult mods is most fun way to do so for me.

So this thread will be dedicated to my modding adventures. Will share details of my progress here.

 

Latest news: Update 3.1 for HC Aloy - Skimpy Outfits is released!
 

Four new body types were introduced s part of update to Nora Huntress outfit - Petite, Busty, Amazon and Voluptuous.

 

Games I'm interested to mod in the future:
Tomb Raider games, Horizon Games, Gotham Knights, Uncharted, other action-adventure games

 

Commisions: Not available for now

I'm currently in my learning phase, want to do only what interesting to me and in my own pace, but might do them later.

Yeah, I'm going to, as soon as I finish this update. The update that at some point become total mod overhaul with changes to all models and their skeletons as well as implementing several new body types. 🙃

 

Today I think I've finally finished with most tedious and time consuming part - implementing new physics setup for all body types and making sure no weird s#*!t is happening for most of the animations. It was painful 😭 But now I finally happy with results and getting back to creating new outfits!

Effect is still quite subtle at times, but I think it's a lot better than my previous attempt. Anyway, I think it's the best I can do for this engine - physics here can be mostly described as "swing" physics, rather than "jiggle physics". Not great, but not terrible either 😁

Don't sell yourself short. You added in actual breast and butt physics into a game that had nothing of the sort to begin with. That's a remarkable achievement! Looking forward to seeing how your mods continue to grow.

Have you had a chance to look into Horizon modding yet? With the Zero Dawn remaster out now, once modding tools for Forbidden West and the remaster are available then I would think that importing body mesh mods between the two should be relatively simple. Hard to say when body mesh modding will be available, though. SotTR took many years for a breakthrough, so nothing is a sure thing.

With custom and not so popular engines modding is never easy, but yea I looking forward for modding tools for Forbidden West and Zero Dawn Remaster. I have almost 150 hours across both games, really love the setting 😉

"Serpent Guard" and "Blue Heron Tunic" Outfits replacements are fully finished - all 24 variations for each outfit are updated, exported and tested ingame.

Right now I'm updating all variations of "Tactical" Outfit, as I finish with it - all updates for all outfits will be released.

 

"Tactical" is about 40% complete, have some trouble with it because I need to split body model in 2 parts (upper torso and legs) and make sure that they are properly connected back together ingame.

Replacemant for "Tactical Adventurer" is 70% ready. I'm entering final stretch of "mod overhaul" update release.

• all material conflicts with standard outfits resolved
• thigh highs now have more noticeable effect on the contour of the legs (thighs look more plump now)
• figured out new material - pubic hair now don't dissolve on lower render resolutions or from far away (example on the right)
• created new pubic hair textures for the new material - more detailed and flyffy

HC Lara - Update 2.0 for SotTR is finally here! Main file now contains Lara's body material and textures and only basic replacement for "Blue Heron Tunic" outfit with no physics.

Main File should be installed with SotTR Mod Manager first, then everything else after.

You may want to create a mod page. Top of the page there is a create button, select file download. It's a lot easier than on Nexus
