Skyrim SE - OAR not working with creature animations?

Hi! I heard that Open Animation Replacer (OAR) was better than its predecessor, Dynamic Animation Replacer (DAR).
After I tried to make the switch, everything seemed fine until I discovered that creature animation scenes aren't working.
Oddly, the part that isn't working is the human animation. Human x Human animations work just fine, but during a Creature x Human animation the human actor will freeze in a default pose while the creature is fully animated.

I do have Nemesis and Pandora Behavior installed.

I did try to clean my save and such. OAR should be backwards compatible, so maybe I forgot to set something up?
Switching back to DAR fixes everything, but I'd rather be more up to date.

Does anyone have any idea how I could fix this while still using OAR?

the fact that pandora stops working when i disable nemesis.

You need to uninstall Nemesis. All animations work fine with Pandora and OAR.

Upon uninstalling Nemesis, the patches in pandora's menu will disappear and the tool does not function. I just tried reinstalling it as per the instructions given on the GitHub page, and got the same result. There is no error message, Pandora simply ceases to display any patches and stops working.

Edit: Pandora still "works" but the animations in-game dont work as intended. Reinstalling Nemesis allows the needed patches to show up which fixes this.

I use Pandora without Nemesis or FNIS. I also use OAR. I never have problems with animations. I use version 1.5.1 of Pandora so the only thing I can think of is to try falling back to that version if you aren't using it already. Uninstall Pandora and Nemesis before you do.

I upgraded to pandora 2.1.5 and had weird anims with sexlab and ostim, but after downgrading to 1.5.1 those issues went away. It may be worth a try if you're using a version above that.

Sadly, among many of trials and errors, this did not work. Again, I don't get any error message. The patches in Pandora simply vanish if I dont have Nemesis, even after scrubbing my directory of any traces of both engines. Maybe there's something I forgot to delete from Nemesis?

Just to reiterate:
-everything works fine until I swap DAR to OAR.

-human actors dont animate during human x creature scenes
-tick box patches in pandora dont appear even after installing with no other engines installed.

Game's haunted.

I did try after someone else suggested it, but no changes. My game is not being cooperative with this.

What MM do you use? Think Nemesis and maybe Pandora make or cause changes there as well. Could be wrong. :)

I am unfortunately on Vortex lol. I know it's like the basic bitch of mod managers, but I did try to switch once and it was not going well. I know I'd be better off on MO2, but I don't have as much free time as I used to and I'd rather not make the move now. I did see other people install Pandora on Vortex without having it tie up with Nemesis, so there should be a way to separate them. I tried and failed to do so, though, after many attempts.

If you don't have Nemesis installed then Pandora will not show any Nemesis patches as there is nothing to patch.

As far as I know OAR doesn't have anything to do with sex animations so it shouldn't be affecting them.

What I would do:

Uninstall Pandora, Nemesis, FNIS, DAR and OAR.

Install only Pandora and check if sex animations work in game.

Once you are happy with sex animations then install OAR and check in game.

Make sure you are installing PBE correctly via Vortex - i.e. via the Dashboard. Never used OAR with Vortex so I don't know how that is installed. Take note of any messages that pop up during install. Keep an eye on Vortex for anything overwriting anything. And with Vortex - Deploy, Deploy, Deploy.
