TheRightDoorIsNotTheLeft Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 When you do the Nishina quest in a way that allows Rafael Aguero to survive, and he offers to become your crew member when you land in New Atlantis, you can put him on your ship or at an outpost. He just asks to not place him alone someplace remote. So I put him alone at a moon in the Verne system. Pretty much did exactly the opposite of what he wanted, especially considering his latest three-month ordeal. Of course, whenever I stop by the outpost he gives the stock responses when ever I visit the outpost to restock on aluminum. But I know exactly what I did. It got me wondering, what kind of evil choices did you make?
nIn nIn nIn Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 I tried blowing up Mrs Whitmore's ship. Game refused to lock on and the weapons all shot in weird angles so nothing could touch her ship. There really are child npc's on board then. She must be scamming ship parts because the school district really are sending the teachers and kids out in rickety shitboxes. That has to be my most evil attempt at anything in the game. Shooting the colonist that spawns near the cave POI with the artifact (unexplored geophysical feature or something like that) in the face is only slightly evil. But only after he rudely states he does not take photo's.
Guest Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 I am being very serious when I say this, it was pissing Sarah Morgan off on purpose. I do not know if it is the nature of the narrative, but being "evil" has no logical conclusion half the time, and seems like more effort than anything. Lets hope the DLC is a little more, varied.
EgoBallistic Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 I blew up Grandma while testing my Leave No Witnesses mod. You know, for science. I promise I didn't cackle or anything. 1

BAB PEEG Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 I didn't think you could do evil things in later bethsoft games.

Well you can take a bribe to keep a corrupt industrialist in power; allow a megacorp to produce an insidious mind control tool; side with the dude that attacked your buddies: turn a resurrected ancient warlord loose in the space ways; side with the Crimson Fleet against SysDef: enslave a peaceful AI to the benefit of said megacorp; cook and sell addictive drugs... I think it's fair to say that Starfield gives you quite a few chances to play the bastard 😄 Edited September 28, 2024 by DocClox

Well, I wasn't the only one trying to kill Bayu after all.😌 This would make an interesting mod, especially one that would only become active after all the quests in which Bayu is involved have been completed. Preferably a mod that would then place someone from Ebbeside as governor of the city.

Yes, I know, I'm a pervert.

There's even a perk for that. Have you ever tried to blow up a ship with innocent people in orbit around Jemison? Or shoot a worker in the head in Underbelly in Neon City? That last one is really fun! Yes, you can do evil things in Starfield. The problem is that then, like in real life, you pay the invoice, in addition to being judged for this when you do NG+. And that's something that upsets a lot of "good people", people who then tend to consider the game "boring".

I think the bastard's Starborn, and I hope we get a chance to do something about in a later DLC. Edited September 28, 2024 by DocClox

The really evil thing I really want to do is to be able to dock and enter the ship with the geologist who won't let us leave without telling her joke, which she doesn't get to finish before making the gravity jump, and then use my "drill " to fill her with "geological holes full of mineral material". And that's with Sarah Morgan watching. What's missing is the mod to be able to enter her ship and another mod to make "geological holes". Edited September 28, 2024 by brown66 English correction.

Best decision I ever made was siding with Genghis Khan. He's hilarious. I keep running into him in the spacelanes. First time he was committing piracy in some little civilian freighter; the second time he had himself a really nice Deimos destroyer and was laying into Seogkuh Syndicate smugglers. I can't wait to see what he does next! 1
