Okay, it's just a cooldown. He should talk again after an hour. I can't remember why I added a cooldown there in the first place, but I'll remove it later.

Many thanks, I'll leave you in peace now

I am really grateful for your feedback. The cooldown makes no sense and I'm still confused as to why I did it. :)

Hi
I think this is one of the quest mods I enjoyed the most so far. I have been looking for content that lets you do things that are more than just point and shoot. Please keep making mods like this!

素晴らしいMODをありがとう。

By the way, where is the key to enter the tunnel?

I just use tcl because I could not it.

The key is in a blue box at the cabinet in the lower floor. I thought it would be weird to let people search for it and put a quest marker on it :)

But just in case it's too hard to find, there is an option in the (LP) Helpmenu to show the marker. Same applies to a "Maintenance Room" later in that quest.

I just finished the playthrough and it was enjoyable! It added some depth to characters that were never given a chance to develop. Little Pawn is also very apt.

Is there a way to get back to where you'd be had we played the vanilla missions? For one, I'm stuck with the Silver Shrouds costume in my inventory.

It would also be nice to gain Hancock as a companion to get the affinity perk. Just curious!

You can craft a (LP) Maintenance Menu at a Chemstation. It contains the option to unlock the Vanilla Content and then you can play the original "The Silver Shroud", "The Big Dig" and gain Hancock as a companion in the progress.

Love the mod.  But why you'd have to place Bobbi's key in that milk carton that is almost impossible to get at?  I've been hitting it.  Carefully trying to hop up and down to get it.  Would you be able to put it somewhere easier to get at?

EDIT:  Nevermind, just figured out you can grab the milk crate.  LOL

Thanks, I'll look into it!

I'm wondering if it would be possible to get the results as part of Little Pawn? The Hancock affinity related conversations could be weaved in at appropriate points. By the time you get back from the Hospital he could give you the perk after a quick chat.

The Shroud is more challenging. Perhaps a package left behind as a gift with the outfit. With a hint that he selected you as next in line in case something happens.

Just ideas, I like where you went with this. The Kendra storyline was especially poignant.

Thank you for your suggestions! Giving the affinity perk at some point is a nice idea.

I'm not sure where I want to end up with the story, so I'm leaving everything open at the moment. Hence this solution, where players can decide for themselves whether they want to wait or unlock the vanilla stuff :)

An observation. Just tried that and it worked enough for me to start The Silver Shroud quest. However, once I got to the hospital your Silver Shroud was there which made getting to Sinjin impossible. Now I use a few console commands to get it done, and now I can remove the costume from my inventory. All good from me end.

I also found out that your Silver Shroud can give out missions. Didn't think to check after the game said I hit an effective end after returning from the hospital! So that's cool!

Thanks for pointing this out. I forgot the Door... :)

My Mod adds new doors in front of the original ones of BobbisPlace, Milton Hospital and the Warehouses to simulate access like in vanilla, but they lead to "new" cells, so i didnt had to change the original cells. But i forgot to disable the one at milton with the "Unlock Vanilla Content" Option. If you are standing in front of it and it shows "Sanctuary of Justice", you could click it in the console (it should display an ID like XX0046ceand type "disable" to see the correct door. If you want to play the 5 Shroud Missions first, you should do the disabling later.

I have now fixed it and upload it in a few minutes (but it wont work retroactively, so you may need to disable the door by console, if you want to see the original cell).

It's a good way of going about it! My workaround worked fine, I primarily wanted to get the Silver Shroud related swag, not necessarily replay the missions.

Side question, is Little Pawn voiced? I thought I saw comments on it, but there were no voices. If they are, then the volume is really low.

My mod itself isn't voiced. But AnonLove19 made a great Voicepack for it:

That's great. I'll try these out.

I did the missions from the Silver Shroud. Encountered two oddities:

Covenant target: I own the settlement and my turrets took him out before I even got near him. Never even found the body.

Diamond City target: First dialogue option I got was 'Are you happy,' which I assume was after the dance.

I loved the 'My Brahmin broke down' line.

The first one seems faction related. I am sure I added him to the covenant faction to make the player lure him out of the town. But I didnt think of the case in which the player already did the Human Error Quest 🤪

The second one is likely caused by my AAF OnEnd Script. I think I should add an additional stage for safety, otherwise it skips the first dialogue if the player has any AAF scene after getting this mission.

I will look into that, thanks for reporting :)

No worries! You can't test every situation.

For the second, I went from the Hospital to Home Plate and then into the city. There were no AAF scenes involving the character, but there may have been some scenes started due to my using Human Resources (Home Plate is a full settlement for me). Unless Build Your Own Pool use AAF?

Yes, it goes directly to the next stage as soon as an AAF Scene ends even without the players character being involved. It was an oversight by me when I changed the method how the quest advances after the animation starts, I have to adjust that, because that is very likely to happen :)

Ran into an issue in Good News. I picked up the printing press. Dropped it because I realized I wasn't suppose to. Now when I talk to the drifter to hire him to move the press. CTD.

The CTD you had happened to me too on my recent playthrough a few days ago. At this moment Shelly will be teleported to the player for safety, like if she got stuck on the way back at the elevator. Unfortunally the game doesn't seem to like that :(

It crashed 2 times on me. On the third attempt i went in first person and got through (don't really know if that makes a difference).

You can do this:

Save right before you speak to the drifter and try again.

Otherwise you can skip this dialogue, as long as shelly followed you succesfully:

Spoiler

You and Shelly try to convince the drifter to help. He doesn't really want to. You can win a speechcheck or just offer 50 caps. So you can do this:

Setstage LP_SQ_Reporter 15 (only if you want to fail the speechcheck and offer 50 caps, this just sets a global)

Setstage LP_SQ_Reporter 320 (for the next step)

There is a little more teleporting later on at this quest (to avoid problems with the elevator). In case you crash again and want to just skip to the end enter:

Spoiler

Setstage LP_SQ_Reporter 1000

When I a get back to this mod I will change this and probably just move these NPCs to the right spots in advance before the player arrives.

The Press is just for deco :)

Установил мод. В NММ переместил его вниз. После приветствия Хэнкока, никто не подходит.
