I tried it with the FG staged tentacle parasite, and it *did* work. Just not with the DD tentacle parasite. Not sure what's up with that, but it does work for at least one problem! It should be noted that I also couldn't remove the DD tentacle parasite when I went into the debug section of the MCM for this mod. Neither the parasite removal option, nor the DD restraints removal option would take it off, but it did work for the FG staged parasite, though the parasite itself doesn't like my CBBE body... XD

CDDER just uses the DD library to equip the normal DD tentacle parasite. Not sure what's going on with that either.

I have that problem not with the player character - but pretty consistently with companions.
A problem dating back to the "reloaded" patch - Which is why I have the companion integration disabled.

 

However, I just ran a quick test:
this command appears a valid fix/workaround for companions when it happens to them.

'Bump' them (using their ref-ID ofc), and they get back up.

What's New in Version 1.97.0

  • Adds a bump to NPCs and the Player after the trap event
  • Detects and removes the cryo paralyze magic effect after trapped safe events

Yee, I mentioned in a lower post that it seemed to work fine with the staged parasite, but if it was converted to standard DD parasite outfit, it wouldn't come off. Not sure what's up with that

CDDER leaves the standard DD parasite untouched. I don't think it's been included in any mod since this one.

I'm not saying it does, just mentioning that the only one I can't seem to get out of is the DD parasite

I had the DD parasite a couple of days ago 
(mistake - I had not noticed that after updating, the MCM option was reset to the DD parasite)

I can't speak for the debug options - but I was able to remove it by crafting the DD cream (not the Bo57 one), and then removing it via the pipboy menu.


PS:
The DD parasite itself is untouched, I think. But this mod adds "science01" as a perk requirement for crafting the DD cream.
And the cream for the FG parasite requires science02.

I'm going to remove the science01 for the DD cream or create a "require science perk" toggle in MCM

I wasn't at the point where I could do that, yet, and I couldn't find the DD parasite cream in the explorer menu. I could find the BO57 cream, just not the normal one. The one I could find didn't work

removing the DD parasite only works with the DD cream.
when using the ESPexplorer, you can find it in the DeviousDevices.esm

or, use the console.
get the ID

help "Special Cream" 4

then

player.additem xx2DE27F

^ with the ID you got from the "help" command, ofc

Ah, hokay. I knew there *was* a cream, but the explorer didn't let me open the DD page, if I recall

These mods Installed but it says Not Installed on all does not do the detection, "Deviously Cursed Wasteland" works normally in the same load i checked using xEdit there is no conflicts :/

What version of DD are you using?

Are you using this?

@jbezorg its working now no idea why all i did was changing my ENB and removing Reshade but i don't see how this would effects it 😵‍💫

 

This mod is when triggered Smoke happens and crash sound and the player gets knocked down? is so can we get option without the sound using headphones it jumpscares me everytime it happens lol

I'm having trouble with getting paralyzed after a DD curse event and getting stuck in ragdoll after the equip event. Load order attached.  Using FG and Zex. No combat mods. Thanks for a promising mod!

It may be an effect change. CDDER uses a vanilla paralyze effect and that may have been edited either intentionally of a dirty edit.

Judging from the dirty edits from Skyrim SE creation club mods (I can't pick up most daggers because the names were removed) I'm willing it's a dirty edit from Fallout's latest update.

No. It's required. You can change the settings so DD items are not used in traps though.

I just got tentacle parasite, nothing else has happend, as much as i have read through the support thread.

I have just figured out that you need special serum from chem station - A solution that dosen't work

is there any other way to remove the parasite, the special serum just gets made into a junk item, it dosen't do anything

I have FG body and FG staged as setting for parasite

Help!

There really needs to be an explaination on the tentacle mechanics in the desc of the mod, i'm tired of just using the debugger to remove it every time i loot a insect/animal/ghoul?

what's the actual way to remove it?

At the top of the Tentacle section in MCM

"You have to remove the parasite before it's first transformation. It auto removes itself after a 4th transformation."

Then there's a slider labeled.

"Number of sex events to trigger a transformation."

You need Science 2 to be able to create the cream to remove the parasite.
