[mod] AGOT CBO Patch

I have played around a bit with the new update in the vanilla game already but Im trying to get back to the AGOT mod again. For some reason My game keeps crashing and looking at the error log, I cant make sense of what the problem might be. 
Here is my load order, in case the issue is there:

Try disabling this Carnalitas Arousal Framework
As far as I understand there are no AGOT compatibility patches for Carnalitas Love Reimagined and Carnalitas Arousal Framework

I think Medieval Arts is for normal CK3 map, there are some errors about it in the logs, not sure if it would cause issues.

 

Other than that, maybe try disabling some of the AGOT mods that shows as out of date, dont really see that many issues in the error.log that would indicate why it crashes exactly

Alright, I disabled the CFP mods, CLR and CAF but that still did not do it. Turns out there was also a problem with one of the outdated AGOT mods. Ill keep testing it though because I think some of them should work as they have been updated only 2 days ago. Thanks again for the help!

Edit: Regula Magistri also seems to contribute to the crashes on startup. Game only works if its disabled.

I'm having a weird issue with CBO Unofficial and this compatch. Dragons have their models swapped for a tiny static female body.
My load order is just:

AGOT

Carnalitas
CBO Unofficial
AGOT CBO Patch

Removing CBO fixes it.

Hi, can you share a full load order? That error would happen if the .asset file is not updated to contain the dragon changes. Can you make sure AGOT CBO Patch is version 3.0+?

Can you share an error.log? There is a log folder next to the mod folder.

Good evening, can you tell me what could be the problem with the mod “AGOT - Colonizable Valyria”? Is it probably because this mod adds a new throne room? In general, CBO works with it perfectly and without crashes, only the animations of the throne room do not work.

Yea, seems like court room is the conflict, dont see anything else that would be an issue

Ok nevermind, I only had the vanilla file but not the huge main file from Mega. Oops.

 Regula Magistri doesn't work in AGOT. Tons of its code refers to Christrianity and the other standard religions, and the holy sites are all in our world (e.g., London). Throws off a billion errors when it doesn't just CTD your game.

I'm also having the bug where dragons disappear and naked people appear in their place. Does anyone know what it would be?

I was unable to download the compatibility patch for the AGOT Submod Core and AGOT+ Patch, the link takes directly to the mod page on Steam. Does it have anything to do with the bug?

Hi, there is no comp patch for agot submode core (the LOTD, AOTK and AGOT+ patches are compatible with submodule core).

The downloads are in the green "Download this file" button, the links on the mod page to steam are just references to the mods this patch makes CBO compatible with.

 

If you have no dragons, its likely a conflict with a mod that changes .asset files, or you didnt download the patch

It seems like there are conflicts between the submod Legacy of The Dragon and this compatch, this "Valyrian Legwear" cannot show normally when I change it to every character.

Hi, Valyrian legwear I think is a base game clothing. (should be same as northern fighting trousers, just with different texture)

Do you have CBO Unofficial version 1.3?

There were some issues with previous version, and shoes. Looks like the character is just missing shoes, but I made it in CBO Unofficial, that characters would not wear the shoeless legwear variants, unless the character also has shoes equiped, and I also made it so that by default, characters would not wear shoes.

Maybe the issue is that you used the diff patches to go to higher version? If so, might be worth doing a redownlod and clean install with CBO Unofficial 1.3 (so make sure to delete the folder, before extracting again)

I checked for dozen times, I'm sure about that Valyrian legwear is from the submod Legacy of The Dragon, you can see the icon which is different from the AGOT base mod.

And I tried version 1.3, unfortunately, this issue keeps happening.

Hi, what I mean is that the mod is not adding new meshes, it just uses base game mesh:

Seems like there is a bug in the original mod, where it has blend shapes in the entity section, but in the patch, the entity definition starts at line 37, so maybe you are missing the patch.

I seem to be having an issue with the mod that allows us to use AGOT clothes in Vanilla with CBO, ive tried following the instructions on this page but when I try to load the game after it wont load, has anyone had success / have the files ready to go? Im unsure what im doing wrong

I think the instructions are out of date, ill try update it tomorrow if I dont forget.

The idea is still the same, grab the assets from AGOT, overwrite with the assets from the CBO patch, and then just need to add the genes.

(but I havent tried if this works for a while, so maybe there are some issues you are running into that were not there when I made the instructions)

@csirke128 AGOT just updated and added some new house-specific clothes. If you have time could you plesae take a look and do an updated patch? Thanks for continued work on all these various mods. Hmm, I thought i was patching against 0.3.4, but seems like steam didn't grab the latest version of AGOT for me yet. Kinda wish the launcher would show mod versions... Ill check again against 0.3.4

No need for donations, got a coffee machine :)
