Starfield has lost 97% of players.

1 - The  difference is that, unlike Fallout, Humanity in Starfield has recovered from the tragic events that overtook Earth and have successfully rebuilt their civilization. You know? The sort of thing people keep saying should have happened in Fallout after 200 years, rather than just living in shacks with holes in the walls and 200 year old skeletons on the floor. But it's hard to make the game bleak and cynical when there's New Atlantis designed to be a shining beacon of hope for the future.

2 - Thing is: Starfield isn't a Fallout game. It's not supposed to be a Fallout game. And if that's what you wanted from it, then no wonder you're disappointed.

Also, at the risk of repeating myself, we don't have an authoritative source as to what percentage of Mankind made if off Earth.

1 - Don't waste your time. From what I gathered from conversations I had with him, he didn't actually play Starfield or else he would already know that.

2 - The problem is that some of Starfield's haters are precisely the ultra-fans of Fallout 4 who thought that Sarfield would be the continuation of Fallout, but in space. This is very noticeable when reading the review in which the IGN critic gave Starfield a 7. Forgive me for the comparison, which only motorcycle aficionados will understand, but this is the same kind of misjudgment that sport motorcycle experts make when they review a custom motorcycle (Harley/Indian type) - they say the motorcycle is a crap because you can't use it as a sport bike.

If many who criticize Starfield knew Bethesda's RPGs at all well, they would know that even within the same series of RPGs, Bethesda never makes two games the same. That said, it was already known that Sarfield would not be the same as Fallout 4 or Skyrim, only having a few points of contact, such as the scene at the beginning of the game that is reminiscent of the scene at the beginning of Skyrim. That and the superpowers system, which is reminiscent of the shouts that the Skyrim player acquires throughout the game.

You are really quite primitive ... because such things don't even really bother me ... since the same senseless and stupid sayings of the guards in Skyrim

Interesting that you say that this flaw is an insignificant detail. I personally consider that not being able to dive into the water is an insignificant detail in the general context of the game. And, if you don't know, there's even a mod that restores the underwater swimming animations in Starfield, in a space that, according to your words, seemed to be just a 2D surface.

I tried this mod, saw that it worked, but then uninstalled it, because in the scope of the game I didn't need it and it was one less ESM that I could install in the game.

And any player experienced in Skyrim or Fallout 4 who, while playing Starfield, realized that it was not possible to dive, would immediately try using the tcl command on the game console to see what the underwater environment was like. And the place where almost all players do this is in the artificial lake inside New Atlantis.

It's curious that you didn't talk about the physics and animations of the bodies in zero gravity environments, something that perhaps you haven't yet realized exists in this game and which is perhaps the reason why Bethesda sacrificed the underwater swimming animations.

https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/8051

I'm amused by your attempts to save the game... it's becoming more and more nonsense.

:joy:

Why do you make a 2D sea? Your explanation is -> because of the weightlessness - because it collides with the swimming animation

At the same time you put animals in the 2D sea - which you have to scan if you want to complete the OFFICIAL tasks in the explorer area!

:skull:

Strange... but for me there's something very wrong here - the simplest explanation would be that with Bugdesta the "left hand" doesn't know what the "right hand" is doing... but that would be a complete failure on the part of Mr. Todd Howard - who was the SOLE supervisor during development.

:joy:

Or - they didn't finish the work - but as usual they "don't have the guts" to officially announce it... why - there are enough people like you who make everything up!

@Miauzi

Sorry, but the little time I have available is to have fun playing a game I like, in this case Sartfield, and not waste time talking with those who like to receive attention for hating a game. If I were 72 years old, as you claim, I would definitely spend the rest of my life playing a game I like and not commenting on the internet about a game I hate. But, hey, it's your life and you do with it what you like!

Just one question, a very innocent one. What is the ghost account you use here at Loverslab to always receive a like for every message you post?

I'll definitely say that the factions all being extremely generic.

What made you conclude the factions being generic? I mean who doesn't want to be Space Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Space Cobra Team from GI Joe? I joke but I found the factions the most interesting part of the game. Everything else you said is spot on though.

Also with Ryujin I like how once you complete the quest you don't run the corporation like in other BGS games. At most you become a key member with an personal office but that's it. Really shows that your loyalty is just beneficial business at the end of the day, no one there is to praise you like some kind of God. You were just working with the best interest of the company. I found it odd people didn't enjoy corporate espionage when that was heavily missing from Cyberpunk 2077, it could of been more in depth and stealth could of actually worked in earlier stages of the quest.(I literally ran to the back of the one store in Akila and the guard just looked at me and did nothing lmao.) But I like how some missions you can approach by being stealthy, some you can by bypass with dialog, had Andreja scare some dude on Mars and with the last mission I think you could use a disguise to get to your target like on some Hitman 47 stuff. Yeah I'm probably in the minority of liking the Ryujin quest line XD seeing that less than 25% of players have the achievement on Steam

Well, not me - I come from a completely different culture... that's why such "triggers" for a game don't work for me.

When I watch films from this sub-area today - I don't know whether to "laugh" or "cry"... but it's not enough for real trash.

yes - the economic espionage thing was interesting - but that's exactly where one of the few bugs caught me - so I couldn't complete a quest... the whole chain was broken

but even if that worked now... there's still nothing that would make me return to this game... not even the ocean is "repaired"

It's like they say on the TV Tropes site: a trope isn't the same as a cliche. There's nothing wrong with offering the chance to RP as a space cowboy or pirate, bounty hunter, and so on.

We'll do our best to get by without you :)
