oscar Posted February 15, 2024 Posted February 15, 2024 In a very few weeks this tremendous game. Dragon, dogma 2. It would be very good if a mods section was created. From what you see in the videos it looks like a Skyrim2 (and I honestly don't think we will see the real one for many years). Its graphic quality and fights are luxurious, I think being able to make modifications would be really good. open world, many enemies, fights like the crinsom desert.ectrr
FauxFurry Posted February 15, 2024 Posted February 15, 2024 Seeing as how it was made using the RE Engine, it will likely be as moddable as the Resident Evil 1,2,3 and 4 remakes are now. The Nexus will have a dedicated area of the site set aside for it but it is doubtful that there will be enough unique LL only mods to warrant a new site section. 6

It would be a waste to not extensively mod this game. It is PRIME mod and sex mod material, if it's anything like the first (gameplay-wise).

Considering that it seems to have fade-to-black sex scenes, it even has a base from which to build sex mods which use that fade script as a trigger. It still may have more activity on the Nexus rather than here simply due to their being less stigma on that site despite its content being not too far removed from this one. Rumors, slander and fears of guilt by association go a long way to give casual users pause about using a resource that may better suit their needs than the alternative.
KoolHndLuke Posted March 7, 2024 Posted March 7, 2024 Honestly don't care for this game to be modded that much. The gameplay will be fucking amazing I think. Maybe model/texture and some skimpy armor/clothing mods made by people who know wtf they're doing. 1
belegost Posted March 7, 2024 Posted March 7, 2024 (edited) The game is not out yet. Don't overhype. Calm down. No preorders. Edited March 7, 2024 by belegost 2

DDDA is one of my favorites, but for 2, I will wait until the denuvo is removed, the hype phase ends, the price to be around $20, and/or it shows up at GOG, just as I did for Nier Automata, Monster Hunter World and the Yakuza series. This doesn't always happen, (Tales of Berseria, Code Vein) but there are only so many hours in each day.
FauxFurry Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 The character creator came over to the West fully intact. One can even choose breast spacing. There are quite a few things that one will not have to waste time modding into the game. At best, higher slider range might be desired for those who want their characters or pawn to look like the Sorceress class from Dragon's Crown. 1

I got bored after 60 hours without completing it. In general, if a game bores me before reaching 100 hour mark I do not consider it a money well spent, regardless of the price. My average game time for the games I really like is 300 hours+.

FauxFurry Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 Little did I know how soon the Nexus would get their Dragon's Dogma 2 mod section. The release is still 11 days away. https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma2
chooo Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 (edited) Game is great, easily 9/10 if this is your kind of game. It's the same as the first one but much larger and more dense and with beautiful graphics.... somehow the combat is even better than the first. Best ARPG combat I have ever played. Most steam complaints are "I can't run it on my 1060"(the recommended GPU in the specs is a 2080) or "microtransactions". You can earn all the mtx stuff in game without much fuss. I will be buying none of it. The game runs around 100 FPS everywhere except the cities for me. 30ish FPS in the cities. It can use a patch or two but it's a wonderful game so far. FacialLinks Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 I Have the game but not yet installed. Did only the character creation a week ago. And also checked how to do mods (the engine is RE Engine that have very good modding capabilities.) I am not playing it right now because I got also Horizon Forbidden West yesterday and I will try to finish it first before starting DD2. P.S. the new Horizon is a game for 12yo. Super-easy. No brainer to solve puzzles or kill enemies. You can literally fall from a mountain and have just a scratch on your elbow. I like the first one way better as gameplay, but the story of the second is on par with the first so far, and graphics are even better.
Algene Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 Well Capcom said, as usual, that they are against mods, the main problem with micro transactions is that they have one reason to ban modding from their game, since the game can't be modded reliably why would we need a section at all? 1 hour ago, chooo said: Game is great, easily 9/10 if this is your kind of game. One word man, DENUVO, that shit has proven to be bad since forever As usual, the best is to wait and see, but if anyone wants my opinion, this doesn't have that bright of a future, hope I'm proven wrong, but yeah, just don't see it.
Grey Cloud Posted March 23, 2024 Posted March 23, 2024 Microtransactions is a deal-breaker. I won't be buying the game. 1
