As for image types, I used PNGs.

Reason why PNGs instead of TGAs (since they *could* have more resolution iirc but I could be wrong):

PNGs are widely used in modding since I usually mod games in Unity and this is my first ever Unreal Engine mod ever released!

Moreover, for the last 2 modpacks/tutorials that I have made, all I have been using is Unity so I needed a bit of familiarity with the files in here.

For a first mod on Unreal, I can safely say I am satisfied with the results even with some rough edges and I plan on improving my free modpack/compilation releases with each one, so look forward for my next modpack in Unity or now with Unreal 💪

 

Luckily some things carry over from one engine to another (like image editing or 3D modeling ) but others are completely different (like the extraction/importing of files), so a lot of trial and error had to be done and I am grateful for the help.

Since that is the format type all the texture images are usually extracted from the other games in Unity, I decided to use those ones but TGA should work if you plan on using that.

 

I can't say for sure about that but I made sure they are all AI upscaled just in case, so they should look good enough.

Then again, if it helps, all the custom bustup models that I made can be replaced with the default ones or from other mods if you want.

Dear ondy6, could you also consider to make mod for Elizabeth and other characters please? For some unknown reason, your FuukaHN_P mod is conflicted with the Elizabeth nude mod and boots mod, by turning her body into grey. So, could you show your magic again, please?

You would just need to create a "~mods" folder in your PAKS folder of the game. Then drag the mods into there!

im also curious, I did what the instructions said but it didnt work, it just used the normal portraits (despite my other mods installed working.) I thought of doing this, but I'm not interested in having it break and having to fix it, but again I really want this mod to work so... any ideas on how to fix this?  I followed the install instructions, nothing changed :<

Yeah, after you unzip then, copy all the files out of the unzipped folder and just dump them into the Paks folder. I've heard you can use a ~mods within the Paks folder to keep things more orderly, but I haven't tried it that way.

Twitter scared us a bit, so to avoid potential harassment and raiding, I closed it off for a while.

Hi all sorry for the delay (I've started playing ffxii rebirth and got distracted), I've heard the calls of trying to fix some bugs with my paks, and I'm trying to figure it out. I haven't ran to the issues of the textures not loading in my game but I've tried editing some stuff in my unreal engine project to see if this fix it. I need some guinea pigs to see if it's working, attached is just Yukari's and if it loads correctly for other people, I may have figured out the issue. If that's the case, I'll reupload the mods I made for Mitsuri and Fuuka with the fix. Of course I would like to hear if it's working as intended too!

 

If the texture issue from my old mods were only appearing in some of the outfits instead of all, also please dm which ones. Might help me narrow it down. 

 

Disclaimer: I myself have just been running ~mods folder paks and have not installed reloaded2 for my game so idk if that's what is causing issues with textures.
