I have a minor release in progress, which I started working on a few months ago.
This update will introduce integration with other mods, balance adjustments, and various fixes.
 

Now that the mod is feature complete, this is likely to be the final release before we reach version 1.0, unless people identify any significant balance or compatibility issues. 

With the launch of 1.0, I plan to provide script sources and comprehensive documentation for mod authors.

 

Unfortunately, I anticipate it might be a few months before I can resume progress, I'm unable to work on this currently.

 

Then I would like to start working on a spell pack, a new mod based on Sexcraft 1.0.

I and a few others have been able to test the mod with the latest version of P+ without issues. Maybe something is causing issues in your mod list.

Love your mod for integrating sexlab gameplay and perks into regular Skyrim gameplay. It pairs nicely with the vanilla plus questmods like confabulation and the a bit dated sexlab solutions. I admire the heavily system based approach and ambition of most mods on here, but making them play nice for my setup often feels like more work than it's worth. Especially as I prefer a more quest heavy setup, much of the content feels intrusive especially if they allow no role-play options. This one just plays nice and spices up many things along the way in a rpg friendly way.

One suggestion from me would be for an option to disable the aroused animation in the MCM. You can easily disable them in OAR, so it is not a big issue. At least for me they felt a bit outside the scope of the mod.

Thanks for your message. You confirm that I managed to achieve what I wanted with this mod, at least for some users. I'm glad to read that.

I agree for the animations, I've deleted them in the next release.

It doesn't seem to be caused by Sexcraft itself, this is a P+ issue.

 

Here are a few things you should check generally causing problems:

- You need a fresh new game for both P+ and this mod.

- Ensure that no other mods are overwriting P+ files.

 

Otherwise, maybe ask for support in P+ discord, they'll be able to help you more than me for P+ related bugs.

@DrunkenCow If you're referring to pillow talk, no. I've improved some perks (including this one) but the tree will stay like this.

 

If you've heavily invested in sensuality, you should have a lot of gold, so you can hire a mercenary to help you, buy a very good armor and weapons (if you have honed metal or something similar) and/or have a thrall while buffing you & both of your followers with your passives.

 

On my vanilla like setup, it's enough to deal with most of the game's content, even on harder difficulties.

No, for multiple reasons:

  1. I use lots of P+ exclusive APIs. At this point, making Sexcraft compatible with og SL would require me to update many scripts, find workarounds and remove some features. Since I don't use og SL anymore, it will be difficult for me to ensure a bug free experience on both versions and require me to do twice the work and the testing. I just don't have enough time / motivation for this.
     
  2. As a framework, it's P+ responsibility to handle backward compatibility, not Sexcraft.
    It's not there yet, but lots of og SL mods are working out of the box with P+ so it's encouraging I guess.
     
  3. The mod is open to patching and v1.0 will provide script sources so if people are interested, they can try to make it compatible, but it won't be the same: 
    1. They will have to remove / change some features to make it work as expected.
    2. This will most likely break the compatibility with any Sexcraft based mods (I'll? maybe? release in the future) since I use P+ specific features that don't exist in og SL to make it extensible.

P+ is backwards compatible, as in mods that work with normal SL work with P+ too, The opposite is not possible, because obviously normal SL doesn't have P+ functions. If it did, there wouldn't be much point in a successor 😅

Sorry my point was unclear, I'll try to explain better:

 

It's exactly the same debate as DAR (og SL) vs OAR (P+). Why would I make an animation mod that is inferior to be compatible with DAR when I can use all the features of OAR without any downsides for users, even if they still use DAR mods? This reasoning works because OAR is fully backward compatible.

 

P+ aims to be to og SL what OAR is to DAR, but it's still in beta so there's work left to be done. Some people don't want to use it because they lose something by doing so. In other words, because P+ is not backward compatible for their use case. So, they ask me to get rid of the dependency.

 

But this is not a good solution, because as P+ improves backward compatibility, more users will adopt it, making og SL support less relevant: A waste of time and energy on my end, to build an inferior version of the mod that users will drop once they can migrate to P+.

 

TLDR, to reformulate:

As a framework, it's P+ responsibility to handle backward compatibility, not Sexcraft.

If you have issues with P+ not working with your load order, the solution is not me dropping the dependency. P+ should be fixed instead, because once P+ manages to be fully backward compatible, you'll want to use it, and all the time invested into making an inferior Sexcraft version working with og SL as a temporary workaround will be wasted.

im having difficulty with P+ whenever i use the ui it randomly crashes

 

which led me to prefer the old sexlab for now until i figure out that problem

The new version of P+ is buggy for me as well. I use it to develop but I play with an older release that works better with my game until the issues get fixed.

I made this patch very early into my experience making patches. Feel free to reupload a esl version if you want.
