Nuka Ride World Patch WIP

Ok might be a dumb question but in light of constant abbreviation use, do I correctly understand that:

CWSS = Craftable Working Showers

BYOP = Build Your Own Pool

 

Asking because it makes not much more sense to me.

Probably not. I haven't touched that in a long time.

Guess I should install it and see what needs fixing. I don't use it and keep forgetting to do anything with it.

In Nuka Ride (6.9.0b - 6.9.1d), the following navmeshes were found to no longer exist.

Well, I got to 8 (and a creepy mannequin in the bushes near the boathouse), but the placement logic says I probably missed 2. Sound about right? 
Also, some overlap with enema machines and CWSS toilets, but the cistern still works so it's a non-issue but worth mentioning maybe?

First person to notice the mannequin too. Now can you find the nuka grenade glasses and the outfit stash box?

 

As for the enema overlap, can you post a screenshot? I've not had any issues like that.

The outfit stash was a nice touch, though as mentioned in the NR main thread last month the Primadonna/Bubblegum/Hellcat can't be equipped by the PC (as with direct purchase from Kali or spawned in, sadly)...Curie is a cute Primadonna or Hellcat though 💖

 

Haven't been counting the Spicy Cups, but the one in a certain prison cell that can't be opened was a bit mean lol.

 

By overlap I mean activation rather than visual: Phase 2 activates over the bowl, and is persistent (in my loadout at least), but the cistern above it on the wall activates CWSS fine. Potentially just me since no one else has mentioned it, and 100% not interfering with anything 🤷‍♂️

 

Speaking of CWSS though, is the shower in the apartment linked to the animation in any way, or is JB calling it at that location and ignoring it? Be nice to think it's just a specific shower, but may end up having to add some things to the XMLs in the end.

That's normal as there's an activator box JB enables for the enema, which is why I used the remote tank version so it can still be used as a regular toilet.

It's a CWSS shower and JB calls specific animations in that location. It's actually a vanilla shower that is disabled so SC can still run the animations. There are several places he targets disabled assets for animations. Nifty little feature.

Post your load order (in a spoiler) over there. There's more traffic, thus more detectives. You seem to have a simple (fingers crossed) load order issue.

Sometimes what seems to be the offending mod actually isn't, it just triggers the real offender to cause a CTD.

I have an isue with new versions of this this mod. I installed both this one and the one given by JB.

The strangest thing is that there is no such issue with previsou version of this mod I used with NUka Ride 6.7.6. dated 06/03/2024

Just checked with a fresh download, in case I uploaded the wrong file, and started a new run and it's fine.

If it's on a current run, make sure the load order for the patch didn't change and you don't have any mods that effect Nuka World.. like at all. Only Nuka Ride and my patch.

So there won't be any crirical issues if I keep the older version installed?

New version is up for NR 6.9.3! Thanks to @JB. for ever so kindly finding the CTD issue!!!

Did fix some other little items along the way.

For anyone running PRP, it'll break. But, you shouldn't be running in Nuka Word anyway.

Yeah, don't run PRP.

But, if you insist on running it, you can make a patch or you can also edit PRP and remove anything related to Nuka World. Which is the easiest of the two.

I suppose the Patch is not compatible with NukeRide 6.9.5? As those are the only ('official') versions I see available.
