RitualClarity Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Okay, so... all I want is the Sexout and Pregnancy, BUT, these tutorials don't do much for me, what do I do? Nothing, nothing at all. Go back to playing an unmodded game. Maybe even consider playing a console game. They don't have tutorials and complex install instructions where you can screw something up and have to go through all the effort of reinstalling the game. The very nature of mods require you to read instructions and attempt to understand the process of installing mods. If the "tutorials don't do much for me" is the issue. There isn't much anyone here can do for you. If you are willing to try to understand these tutorials and attempt to go through the often times very frustration learning curve to be able to understand the process and put in the mods knowing that you very well will have to reload the OS several times even if it is from a backup then continue. Come into the community after reading the tutorials and legitimately trying to accomplish installing the mod and ask questions on the specific issue that is causing you trouble. There are many individuals here that will attempt to help those who try to help themselves and clearly show that they have honestly tried to fix or resolve the issue stating the actions that they have done and or where they are troubled or in trouble. Oh, and Sexout and Pregnancy will do absolutely nothing by themselves so you will need to decide on other mods further increasing the complexity of the modding task for you. If you wish to continue I would like to welcome you to the community and hope you will be able to overcome any problems that you have with the tutorials.
Halstrom Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Yep a lot of time and effort has been done by people like Ritual Clarity on Tutorials, so if you can't or won't use them, it's probably too complex for you.
RitualClarity Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Yep a lot of time and effort has been done by people like Ritual Clarity on Tutorials, so if you can't or won't use them, it's probably too complex for you. Yep. Those individuals like myself that have contributed these tutorials did so for the benefit of the community to help aid those that are newer and need that added help to begin to understand the process. I have no doubt that problems will come up with the installations of the various mods and their requirements. That is the nature of the beast. There are many individuals here that could barely load a mod. Now with various tutorials and instructions and the occasional help from a member for clarification or aid in a specific problem they have created mods. All it takes is the willingness to try to understand. The problem as I read it is the OP don't want to do the effort to accomplish this. I do understand. I truly do. It takes a great deal of effort to get a properly modded game running. I am running an mostly unmodded Skyrim and Oblivion game because of this. Eventually I will put forth the effort to begin to understand the process with the confidence when I do I will get the help needed to get the game up and running with the desired mods properly configured.
DaDoomGuy Posted October 27, 2013 Author Posted October 27, 2013 I can install mods just fine(mostly do them manually) I even make mods(for F3/NV/Oblivion/many RTS games) my major problem is, there's so many files, and the tutorial isn't doing just Sexout, it's doing other things, and as a plus, the files are VERY split up(no single 2gb file with everything needed?...) I actually(believe it or not) have tried to follow the instructions, but some files just aren't there and/or don't make sense. Also, NMM has been acting weird giving me an error, I can load FOMM just fine, but NMM can't load...
RitualClarity Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 my major problem is, there's so many files, and the tutorial isn't doing just Sexout, it's doing other things, and as a plus, the files are VERY split up(no single 2gb file with everything needed?...) Unfortunately that is the nature of these mods. The community works on parts of the mod while others work on other parts. It isn't one single compilation. Speaking of compilation there is a compilation file but it is quite old now. And it don't contain all the base requirements. I actually(believe it or not) have tried to follow the instructions, but some files just aren't there and/or don't make sense. The tutorial I created have the links right in the tutorial for the files needed for SCR. SCR has the links on this page. Sexout has the links on his page for all the requirements that mod needs. most of the mods have their links inside the spoiler or in the tutorials that are available. If there are some missing or broken post in that mods thread. Someone should be able to come along and help you with that and give you a valid link. The files that don't make sense. Post a question for clarification. If you are having issues understanding that part or what is expected with that file others are likely have that same problem. Those problems can't be fixed without someone bringing it to the mod creators attention. Believe me i have done that more times than I can count and sometimes a Moderator had to be used to access the OP and make the changes. In the end it was fixed. I am only one person and I don't always see the problems because I don 't have the same fresh eyes that a new comer has. Also, NMM has been acting weird giving me an error, I can load FOMM just fine, but NMM can't load... I have heard that there were some issues with NMM recently. That don't matter. FOMM is the supported mod for anything Sexout. There are claims that NMM has some issues with the scripts or something which makes it less reliable than FOMM.

RitualClarity Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 You state that you are an experienced modder. You stated that you have installed mods manually. You can do this. As an experienced modder you also know that it is needed to give the load order at least... I don't have madam Celo's phone number and I can use a devising rod to figure out where you are having problems with the installation. I have stated in the very first post I replied to you to Come into the community after reading the tutorials and legitimately trying to accomplish installing the mod and ask questions on the specific issue that is causing you trouble. There are many individuals here that will attempt to help those who try to help themselves and clearly show that they have honestly tried to fix or resolve the issue stating the actions that they have done and or where they are troubled or in trouble. You have the knowledge and refuse to give the most basic information on what is going on, what you did or even the load order. You state that you make mods for FNV oblivion etc. You should be aware of basic load order and how to resolve most of those issues.. At least know enough that a load order is need to help resolve the issue. Good luck with your efforts on getting sexout up and running. This Alien has better things to do that to try to help someone that refuses to help him/herself and fails to give specific problems, load orders and other info that someone of your level of skill should know is needed for support. I will leave you to your attempts not because I am angry, or frustrated no. I am a very patient Alien and have helped many noobies with almost zero skill get their mods up and running through many frustrating steps. After many other members have left them alone. No, I am going to leave you to your own devices because I am just bored and can perhaps help others more willing to help themselves. I very strongly suggest you contemplate your next post and the content and make sure that the full info load orders and everything you have done has been included with a statement that you will give what ever info is needed to help solve this problem.. I doubt anyone else here will help after reading this post otherwise.
Nichoice Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I installed it, but how do I get it working? the tutorial wasn't clear on that, oh and also, everytime I load just Sexout it crashes. Least you could do is include a load list.
