My thought process was that I'm almost always playing as a male character, with male preference succession, and most of my female dynasty members are getting married off for alliances and renown when they become adults. Anything that relies on me playing a female character or having female dynasty members around is going to be extremely unlikely to happen.
Shandrys Posted February 6, 2025 Posted February 6, 2025 Ok, Phaze, we need to talk about it xD I understand that you like Femboi Sappers very much and that player have to allow their existence etc, but let's be realistic here: giving x2 Trebuchets (3rd era) in a 1st Era (femboi sapper) for the price of 1 sapper, is absoloutely insane 🙈 Trebuchet have same cost while having 1/2 of siege power of Fembois. Hell, even Bombarda from 4th era have 1.1/day while fembois have 1.5/day base ! And I don't even mention a level 15 fort level limit, which is physically impossible to build in 1st era and very very hard in 2nd as well 😅Have I already mentioned that you can get all of that OP staff in your 1st era ? xD That's basically a siege unit for your whole playthrough right from the start 🙃 If you're not sure how it's better to nerf them - just copy-paste stats from a 2nd Era Mangonels and that would be more than enough for a good chalk of playthrough. Oh, and you would want to actually made them Siege Weapons type, because right now they are Skirmishers, so no siege weapons buffs or fort level limits are actually applied to them 1

I do know that my preference is not the most popular option, it makes it a lot harder to find the futa content I do like. There's a fair bit of futa stuff that I just don't engage with because it isn't to my tastes, just like any other entertainment. I suppose my more direct question would be, does the mod have any particular event chains or mechanics around going from a historical male dominated realm that considers futas religiously criminal to one where they're more tolerated and would enable a futa successor taking power? Assuming I wasn't going out of my way to keep daughters around or somehow get a daughter to inherit. Or would that be done better with the vanilla religious reformation/conversion mechanics? 1

Part of CK3 is creating your own stories with gameplay, not following long quest lines. Ideally I have given you the tools to act that out if you so desire.

The only one I've seen so far has been the knight's faith.

The only one I've seen so far has been the knight's faith. Doing ruins lets you rediscover the Hermillian faith. You could also kneel before go interact with Hermillia and get her faith from her. 1
A Viceroy Posted February 7, 2025 Posted February 7, 2025 Hello! This is a pretty inspired mod! I noticed that this most recent patch made it so that more events are available to landless characters. How much stuff is unavailabe to them (I'd put together previously that there were things I couldn't access while wandering, and being certain now is nice). Also, what the HECK does the cat WANT!? I started getting that initial dream event, but nothing more ever comes of it. 1

I hadn't even seen these units in the game yet! In fairness though, I've been playing the previous patch up until now. If one is super concerned about balance, then maybe a more creative solution could be events/cost based. Having cool things exist is... well cool. It's why the dragons from EK3 are so nifty. Maybe if one is dead-set on making these "balanced" it could come in the form of maintenance events, or having to do something to keep these units serving you as opposed to the conqueror next door. It'd make it tough to hang onto them perpetually and slide them into a "I really need to win this war" role. Dunno, I could be entirely out in left field in my ignorance here. 1

No the patch used to be in all versions and recently it was intentionally seperated. So you need to apply the patch evey time.

So you need to apply the patch evey time. ok will try reinstalling the millfy mod and this since for some reason my game keeps crashing on load because of the species so maybe something corrupted on me no idea will let you know if that does anything. Ok never mind reinstalled it and it is still crashing also made sure to apply the patch as well here is the error log the game gives i am honestly not sure what is going on anymore i have already disable almost half my mods and it keeps saying something about species so yeah any help that can be given would be great. error.log Edited February 7, 2025 by Jade514 1

Note: I didn't even try to get the endless lord thing to work, but all of the other traits seem to be passing down well. Except for the level 4 traits in the mod I used ED's own code for pretty much all of the trait inheritance stuff. It should also properly inherit your elf rank (ED takes the average between parents and that's the rank your kids get). The level 4 traits might be a bit overtuned because I didn't really look up the rates from ED. 2

Jade514 Posted February 8, 2025 Posted February 8, 2025 (edited) ok so i have tried disabling more mods and i got it to launch and let me make play for about an hour yesterday but i think this mod or milffy is corrupting my saves or something because i tried to load the game again and it is crashing again i have not tested fully but i am having a feeling that if i delete my entire save folder again the game will launch. error.log debug.log here is the debug and error log if anyone might have a clue if there is anything else going on that could be causing it but from what i can see and understand of the error log it is all errors about species and futa. Edit 1: ok so after disabling about another 6 mods and changing around my load order i seem to have managed to get it to load but it seems to be extremely laggy so i am currently doing some more tests but i am wondering if there may be a conflict or something that i am not seeing like i said above if someone could help understand that error and debug log so i can try work out if there is a conflict i am missing that would be great. Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention. It really took me by surprise (I usually have such scenes set to off but forgot that that's only covering Carnalitas' stuff). I reflavored some stuff in the localization files so I'm plugging along. easier now 2. I'm sorry to hear about the cat line's hiatus! I'll throw you a couple of bucks via Ko-Fi to pay respects. Would you mind if I asked what it was originally? 3. You've put a lot of ways to play into this mod! I got this mod around the same time that I picked up roads to power. I've learned about how being a zealot adventurer works and learned about how to actually get Isolde's story working simultaneously recently. I think I'm seeing the vision, that being converted (by wiggling through a successful Isolde storyline) and then spreading the faith with those MAAs! It's such a nifty way to take advantage of the landless mechanics! It's also really cool to see how those MAAs interact with the player. Imo that's one of the most inspired bits, it makes your troops feel much more alive (especially because you largely break them down into small and "cozy" denominations). For a start I can already tell you have way to many major mods installed at the same time to do meaningful bug fixing, especially to get someone else to do it for you. Big mods (Or incomplete ones) can each have 20+ reasons for crashing alone, but you got multiple. That said, the Species Error at the end is saying it cannot detect any of the species traits, which is very wrong. That suggests something is conflicting with Species mod, or your copy of it is bad. I see right above that your game cannot find the striped Imp trait either. Most of the Futa Mod errors also relate to not finding traits like Voirian. Futa Mod has most my attention, if it broke saves I would know. Everything points to a combination of Mod Conflicts and your Species Mod not being correct. I suggest you strip your mod list down and add things bit by bit. Boring, but I have to do the same thing for my AGOT playlist.
