DDe keeps throwing a requirements missing failure and says that I need CD 4.16, but 4.15 is the last update. Is 4.16 somewhere I haven't looked?

With regards to the New Game requirement, you mean a hard new game, right, not just a game that's never had DD installed in the first place? This is my first time even considering installing DD, but I'm pretty far into my game and I don't want to break things or start over from scratch with all the quests I've done so far.

 

Also, I see DDNG has a soft requirement for SLIF. Does it have compatibility for OInflated, or is it just SLIF?

DDNG does not require SLIF, but has support for it. As for OInflated, I have no idea.

You can install DD in a playthrough if you've not done it yet, however some things may not run as expected because DD interacts with several SL and vanilla game scripts. YMMV.

I've looked at the github, the upcoming 0.3 version that's reworks the hider doesn't seem to have that:

I've been playing with TNG for a while, don't remember seeing those in my logs - thanks for looking into that, though 👍

According to the github, the upcoming 0.3 version doesn't have "Game.GetFormFromFile(0x0012D9,"Schlongs of Skyrim - Core.esm")" that causes the problem I reported.

Maybe it was removed in the DD NG from the beginning? If so, you won't see such error log.

I have been googling this for a couple days now and I cannot get google to spit me the correct forum to read so I'll just ask here. If this is the wrong spot just point me elsewhere, ok my issue is no NPC is treated as gagged. I've gagged a couple and every time I speak with them they dialog as normal. I did not have this issue the last time I was using the DD family of mods but I have a new rig now so I was starting from scratch. Literally everything else works and this is my last roadblock to playing the game normally. DD NG is new on my load order so maybe I just goofed something.

There's one I use which is a good vanilla start, its called "Ralof or Hadvar (alternate start)" 

Basically makes you pick between one of them and start at the point before they help you untie your arms.

Hi,

 

I'm having a real headache for the last few days as I switched from autobody to obody ng.  I cannot load a save without the obody.dll crashing and the crash log each time points to :

 

TESObjectARMO(FormId: 92040F0C, File: `Devious Devices - Integration.esm`) which is the device hider entry in the plugin

 

and

 

BGSEquipSlot(FormId: 00013F42, File: `Skyrim.esm`)

 

Everything loads fine with Autobody but I have another bug with that one, each time I now select an npc to change her bodyslide preset, autobody.dll immediately CTD's which made me try to switch to obody in the first place but as shown above no dice.  I'm on Skyrim SE 1.5.97 with SKSE 2.0.20.

 

Anyone encountered this same crash and knows a solution?

Disable DD NG, build just the piercings in bodyslide, re-enable DD NG.

I'd try a completely new game. Removing mods mid game is always risky and can cause CTDs.

Disclaimer: I have no experience with the DD mod franchise and my problem could maybe be solved through the DD MCM, but:

 

I encountered a "SMP hair" bug regarding DD NG and two "workarounds".

 

New game, I'm running Skyrim 1.6.1170 + SKSE 2.2.6 + DD NG (tried both versions) + KS SMP hair (but others are affected too) + FSMP 2.4.0 (neither CUDA nor AVX) and only a few other mods, mainly dependencies. Just 39 mods in total.

 

By changing cloths, hair physics can get dis- and reenabled. The pattern seems to be 1. disabled, 2. nothing, 3. reenabled and repeat. And I was unable to equip helmets, but only sometimes.

 

I can run 200+ mods, no problem, but the moment I enable DD this instantly happens.

 

My two workarounds:

1. Equip a wig, they work just fine

2. In the FSMP MCM, disable the "disable hair SMP while wearing wig" option. This seems fixing it, but I didn't tested it much.

 

Am I the only one with this problem or is everybody running this on SE.

I dunno what I'm doing wrong at this point tbh.

  • Using MO2
  • All my mods in the requirements are up to date
  • I have DDNG loading after DD for SE/AE/VR (5.2).

Game boots up, start New Game, UI disappears, CTD.
Not using anything like the Beast Races or for Him patches, I just install stock DD, then stock DDNG (no other patches), as that's how I'm interpreting the instructions. I do run FNIS, then Nemesis, then Bodyslide and I build all of the outfits available for the type I'm using (CBBE/CBA).
This is the second time I've tried to get this mod working, I'm just stumped at this point, I'm not exactly tech savvy, so, uh, yeah.

I can tell you that there are specific steps you must follow if trying to use Nemesis and FNIS together. Don’t know if you did that or if it’s contributing to your issue, just wanted to point it out.

Seems like this may have been the issue, and it was a weirder issue than it just not being up to date. I had a mod called "ConsoleUtils SSE" in my load order, but I did not have a "ConsoleUtils SSE NG". I didn't even notice that this requires SPECIFICALLY the NG version. Having some issues with animations not loading properly, but that might be an issue with an animation pack not loading right and is much easier for me to fix than this.
A few of my other mod issues seemed to be fixed with getting NG as well, but they were Mods I was willing to just let go. DD just happens to be used in a lot so I was kinda frustrated I couldn't get it to work again.

Hello, I'm having an issue, when I try to use the pillory it just disappears, and the character just stands, it successfully registers itself as a lockable thing, it gives me the option to escape and etc. but it breaks all of the animations.

anyone know of a fix for the HDT SMP physics for sign plugs and tail plugs. their equip location defaults to under the model similar to the hdt chain sets.

anyone also know what exactly causes this problem? as i'm almost certain it isn't a mod conflict from outside of devious devices, HDT-SMP and my prefered body mod through testing with only the body mods, racemenu, devious devices and all these mods their requirements.

Hello! Doe someone use Nether follower with that mod? It seem that i can't give some locked clothes to my follower with it, anyone have find a solution for that? Or i need to use an other follower mod?

Everytime I start a new game.

The default Device Hider slot occupies the slot used by Hair SMP, simply changing the device hider slot makes it so hair has smp physics.

This mod is great. I see a substantial improvement in performance which really helps because I have a low end machine.

I have been thinking of adding Unforgiving Devices into the since it was mentioned in the op, but that mod author has listed Devious Devices NG 0.3+ as a requirement.

From what I have read here, this version is still under development so I am a bit confused.

Would you recommend I wait for the new release before attempting to add Unforgiving Devices?
