[mod] Lustiest Lair Expanded

Hello, The mod runs great overall and I have had no game play problems, but almost all of the "erotic snippets" (especially those given in bulk after beating a modded boss) are just a completely blank page with no content or title. Does anyone else have this issue or know of it/how to fix it? I have followed all installation instructions carefully and have all required other mods in place.

Removing Clares journal fix will solve this :) It is no longer a requirement of LLE and I will update the requirements soon

Thanks for the response! One more question if you don't mind then... seems like development for the mod has been going on for a while. First I want to say that I do enjoy it. I feel like I'm having a much better time playing modded Darkest Dungeon then when I tried an h-game that tried to mimic the formula, Ero Dungeons. Curious if you have a timeline of sorts. Getting close to a year since this thread was first made, do you have any plans on "finishing" at any point in the predictable future?

The Rise of the Mimics Update

 

Changes:

  • [IMPORTANT] Removed dependency: Clair's Journal Compatibility Fix. Please remove this mod from your mod load order.
  • [IMPORTANT] Removed dependency: Mafe Patch for Quest Generation Issues. Please remove this mod from your mod load order.
  • Created the Lustiest Lair: Expanded wiki. To contribute ping me on the discord.
  • Added a new curio to all regions: The Mimic Chest. Can you spot the subtle tell that sets it apart from a normal chest?
  • Added a new interaction with The Mimic Chest. Maybe there's an item you can use to mollify and calm the beast before engaging it..?
  • Added a new capture enemy: The Mimic. Rumour has it there are two variants of this elusive foe.
  • Added new trinkets: Mimic Trophies. Best the beastly mimics and claim their lewd trophies!
  • Added two new pregnancies: You're going to have to discover them yourself.
  • Added Mimic audio
  • Added Lustiest Lair support for the popular mod class Lamia
  • Expanded provision slots when selecting quest equipment. This was a necessary change because occasionally the base game wouldn't be able to display all of the extra provision items that LL:E adds.
  • Increased spawn rate of the mimic chest following tester feedback on Patreon that people weren't encountering it enough.
  • (LoversLab Patch only) Added a new enemy to the Farmstead: The Plowhorse. Watch out for the little crystal he keeps beside him - when he opens it up he's sure to hypnotize one of your heroines!
  • (LoversLab Patch only) Added audio for The Plowhorse.


Bugfixes:

  • Fixed text overflow in the description of the Vessel of the Sperminity quirk
  • Fixed journal pages being blank (Please remove Claire's Journal Compatibility Fix from your mod load order. It is no longer a requirement of LL:E.)
  • Minor typo corrections and code clean-up
  • Fixed some items not showing up in the provisions screen and becoming unusable.
  • Fixed heroes being lost to Crimson Curse even if you have enough Blood.
  • Fixed missing localisation strings for both mimic's defend moves.
  • Fixed a flickering / missing string error with the mimic tentacle and mimic tongue guard attacks
  • Fixed a bunch more typos and missing strings

  • [Loverslab Patch only] Fixed a flickering string for The Plowhorse.
  • [Loverslab Patch only] Fixed a missing string for if a heroine is enslaved while being grabbed by a mounthound. This can only happen if you lose every other member of the party while one is being grabbed.

The new Plowhorse seems to crash for me on loading in the farmstead. I tinkered a bit and it stopped crashing when I replaced the ll_plowhorse.sprite.combat skeleton with the default plowhorse skeleton. After that, the rest of the animations seemed to work fine and no further crashes

@Ancestress Hi... the guy who made lustiest lair UI plus 

just notice something on the page and my mod is "linked" there. I mean, I don't really care cause its an amateur attempt of mine so I count on being buggy.. But I am curious how its not working or causes error. I'm willing to take a look cause the darn mod only change the pngs. The one that changes the string is separated so it can easily be resolved. :)

Also happy anniversary to LL, and heard you are working on updating the UI and can't wait to see it.

dont know if this has been discussed before, i have a little idea, but i understand if its completely impossible or too much of an hassle to do. Basically a "rework" of how pregnancy work. As example, the knothound pregnancy instead of spawning a knothound in battle (atleast i remember it spawned a knothound) it give a more considerable debuff/buff and after some week it cures itself and give via town event either a knothound as playable character (this is why i said i understand if its impossible or too much of a hassle to do) or a knothound puppy trinket that give buff/debuff depending on traits and pregnancy and can spawn a knothound in battle

You could totally make a mod for Lustiest Lair that does that!

 

Anyone is welcome to make their own patches and content for LLE, you just can't copy-paste any of the files 😄

I'm getting a lot of crash to desktop when playing in the Farmstead.

From my testing it seems to be coming from the ll_plowhorse_full. After being captured by the plowhorse then returned to the group, the game crashed at the end of the turn. Using the save editor I noticed that there was only 3 heroes in the initiative order in persist.raid.json. Manually restoring my hero in the initiative order  fixed the save.

Known issue. Its the skeleton of plowhorse that's causing it, and will be fixed by 1.5

 

EDIT: It was not the skeleton. Something is causing the Plowhorse to crash the game the second time it spawns, and I'm still in the 'figuring this shit out' phase of things.

From 1.5 onward - which is coming out in a few days - Lustiest Lair: Expanded will come with skins.
