The newest DD1 update kinda made me reinterested in trying out DD1 again, and surprise surprise the first thing I do is check back on the sex mods (that tbh I'm don't even manage to get horny about bc I just get too hyperfocused on the mechanics and stuff! I don't understand my brain!!!) - I know the update was meant to break as few mods as possible, but do you foresee any complications with this mod in particular, considering how much it changes?

I've already tested it a bunch - LLE seems to work as well as ever 😄

Anyway I can play this mod for just the grab animations while reverting all the text back to normal (like changing status effects back to bleed/poison, character barks, ability names, etc)?

Not yet, BUT--

I'm planning on releasing a 'Dark Mode' version of LL:E that has more grounded story, text, speech, etc. based on a squad of heroines cleansing foul beasts from the hamlet :)

Wow.

Cool, it's an ambitious project. I can't wait to see the first elements :-)

Is the 1.6 version leaked already or someone can share please? 😅

Maybe don't go into a creator's thread and loudly ask if anyone has pirated their stuff?

Besides, 1.6 is coming out for free very soon.

In the current 1.5 version of LLE (plus the LL patch), is it possible to acquire the Forbidden Knowledge/ll_forbidden_sister quirk? Looking through the files as well as the tiddlyhost wiki and the mirehaze wiki it appears that the only way to acquire it is as a quest reward from the Priestess quest in the Ruins, similarly to the Corvid quirks and its quest. But I've played the repeatable mid-tier Priestess quest I'd guess over ten times so far and haven't acquired the quirk at all (plenty of the gargoyle 'disease' though).

After all that, I even tried changing the "chance" to 100.0 in the ll_priestess.quest.plot_quests.json thinking that would change the chance to 100%, beat the quest again, and still nothing. Anyone have some insight on this? Those 'Blessing of...' trinkets keep teasing me with extra functionality that apparently only works if I can somehow acquire this elusive quirk.

I'll take a closer look at it! Thank you for letting me know :)

Thank you, and thanks for your work on this mod. Ironically, right after posting my question, I was able to acquire the Sacrilegious Knowledge quirk for the first time. What happened was I finally defeated all the main progression bosses in the Ruins at the green, orange, and red difficulties (purple outlined quests, the prophet and the necromancer) and that seemed to reset the Priestess progression quests. Suddenly the purple-outlined green Priestess quest reappeared (alongside the non-purple outlined orange Priestess quest which was the one I had previously been repeating over and over). So, I went through the green-difficulty Priestess quest and after beating it, one of my characters acquired the elusive quirk! You can imagine how quickly I went to lock the perk in place after that.

I still don't really understand the chances, because it seems so rare. The Brand/Vessel quirks seem so much more easy to acquire. For context, at this point in my game I have a nearly fully upgraded hamlet, mostly level 5 and 6 characters, and plenty of Brand/Vessel/Matron quirked characters. Playing on Radiant difficulty if that matters.

First, thanks again for your great work on this mod, Ancestress, it's super cool. And as I understand it you're hard at work on the next big update to it. Have you thought about updating how Beast Matron/Euphoric Matron work? As is, it's an interesting and pretty complex system in how it's acquired, the 'disease' progression, and the effects it has in-game (buffs, debuffs, for self/party, etc).

But I think it would make sense if Beast Matron characters didn't stress each other out with their call-outs. Like, if one Beast Matron character does a party-wide call out, why would a recipient Beast Matron be stressed by it? Perhaps the recipient Beast Matron would stress-heal instead? And maybe a tiny blight-resist buff rather than a tiny virtue-chance buff would make more sense given the quirk's relationship to the Warrens dungeon.

Also it would be cool if Euphoric Matron was easier to get, or stayed longer/permanently once acquired, or if progressing to Euphoric Matron was perhaps the step that turns the party-wide call outs into a small stress-heal rather than the usual stress damage. I also don't really understand why the Matron quirks have the Stallion 'disease' listed under incompatible_quirks in the quirk library file, either, because removing that incompatibility seems to allow the Beast negative quirk to turn into the Euphoric positive quirk once the Stallion 'disease' is acquired again.

Perhaps the Stallion 'disease' could be suspended in the gravid state by making the labour state of that 'disease' incompatible with someone who already has the Matron status, thus sort-of permanently giving a character the Euphoric Matron status with some drawbacks? There also seems to be a 'hormonal' variant of the Stallion 'disease' listed as an incompatibility, but I don't think that's used for anything. It's a bit of a confusing system at present, that could perhaps be simplified or clarified.

am tryng the new 1.6 and even if im only at the beginning im really liking, especially all the new grab enemy and their grab animation, but i have a little question. Since the road map said that 1.6 had an offspring rework, what does it mean? Im noticing that now its extremely easy to get an heroine pregnant, almost every attack now result in a pregnancy and i have some heroine with like 6-7 pregnancies not being able to remove them because i lack the fund. Do they still work as reskinned disease or do they do something new now? Is there a chance to actually birth something?

Hello~
I have a problem and have not found a solution yet.

When playing with this mod, after a few expeditions, I earn something, not sure what, that makes my game crash when I try to open the inventory, while in the hamlet. I see an exclamation mark in the chest, I click and puff.

1. Any ideas?

2. If no ideas, are there logs that can help pin point the issue?

Thank in advance!

Edit: I only have this mod and the loverslab patch as mods that touch the gameplay, a couple of the recommanded extra classes such as Oni and all the other ones are classes skins

That sounds really awesome because I have always loved the new content that comes with LL but the general atmosphere is too hentai for my taste. I would really love if there was some more grounded alternative that had the lewd content added but didn't change the core gameplay to be some kind of weird sex fight that I still don't understand how it would work. :D Do you have any plans when you would release this mod?

do I still need to have the Loverslab patch turned on as well?

This, will admit I haven't really perused the thread enough to know, but can't find a source for said expanded patch anymore on the site, and I know not all the content in it is likely Nexus or Patreon friendly, so asking this as well to see if anyone know definitively whether the old expanded patch is still necessary, if a new one is somewhere, or if its all just baked into the mod now?

Great mod! I have managed to play it with a metric ton of other mods without crashes.
I also support the creation of a Dark Mode. The mod looks great, but I had to revert the "Grab" and "Leave" curio buttons because I didn't like the look of the new ones.
Once I figure out how to turn the blood splatter red again, I'll do that too.

Should I be worried about "The Foredoomed's Curse"? What does it do and how do I get rid of it?

I've read that LL:E requires the latest version of DD. Which version is that? The latest I've managed to find is 25721. Is there a newer version that one needs to get? I'm asking since I'm having problems if I put LL:E at the top of the mod list(with the Loverslab Patch above it), mainly the problem with the hamlet, as there are some problems with the mimic(the one I've noticed every time when running at the top of the mod list) that makes the hamlet have no interactable buildings, and the screen flickering. When placed below any other mod, however, no problems turn up and the hamlet has all buildings interactable.

Edit: Correction. I was using a previous version that is obviously incompatible with the 1.6 version of LL:E. The 25721 version has no problems.

Great mod! I just completed a run with it on - it's decently balanced, but there are a couple of outliers:

  • Blessing of the sperminity giving +100% HP is absurdly busted, and also really easy to obtain from the gargoyle boss. Once I realized just how strong the buff was, I spent multiple dungeon runs just stalling in front of the gargoyle in order to ensure everyone was impregnated.
  • Adding onto this, the other quirk you get from the gargoyle boss, Sacriligious Knowledge, is also really busted, considering that having it lets you equip trinkets with overpowered effects like +40% crit or +75% scouting chance. This one is RNG to obtain, but the boss quest is repeatable.
  • Summoning enemies by way of things like Knothound litter birthing or the spernslave item, completely breaks bosses. I didn't even use this because I thought it was just way too much. A lot of bosses rely on summoning things onto their side (Brigand Cannon, final DD boss, Drowned Crew, etc), so not being able to basically just breaks the fight.

I don't really consider myself a good player, but with the mod on I was able to complete a deathless (yes, even the final boss) Styian/Bloodmoon run thanks chiefly to the gargoyle buffs.

Hey, sorry if this is something simple to fix but I've genuinely run out of ideas. Every time I finish a quest and try to return home, the entire game crashes. When I reopen my save file, it gives me the rewards but I'm still in that same week, so my adventurers are still stuck in the tavern etc. I'm essentially accumulating lust and not able to lower any of it with this constant crash. I've verified my files on steam, I've only downloaded the recommended mods from this page, and lustiest lair itself along with its addon mod are both at the top of the load list -- with that addon above lustiest lair itself according to previous instructions. I'm completely lost at this point on what to do

This isn't an LLE bug. Remove mods one by one until the problem stops. :)

DD had a few recent updates, and noted that they could be breaking mods.  Try older versions of the game client if you can.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Latest build of DD has released for multiple platforms, this will change things largely, or perhaps not, there's still the option to branch the legacy version of the game, so i was wondering if the project was gonna continue development on the legacy build or adapt to the current 64bitx build

I've been doing all my testing and building on 64 bit since the beta release dropped :)
