I know @Invictusbladewas working on categories for additional kinds of body hair overlays in the latest versions of ROF, but I haven't had a chance to playtest and see how far it's gotten (like I don't know if there are separate categories yet for armpit hair vs leg/arm hair vs...).

currently i have an issue (see post in skin-overlays) but before there was some weird rectangular black texture when i used the hairs just in the middle  like a"landing strip" of texture error

Earlier versions had the wrong archive encoding for the textures, which could result in all manner of odd rendering artifacts.

Is it there the only pubic overlay in screenshot? It looks, that there's two overlaping. And does it occurs with any hair from my mod?

it occurs with every hair from your mod. It really looks like there i another hair but there isn't. removed FSM textures and it's still there. I use a CBBE slim preset

Здравствуйте! Установил ваш мод с помощью NMM, но никакие волосы из данного мода не появились в LooksMenu. Может это быть из-за того, что я использую 8K Realistic Skin Textures, в котором уже есть волосы на лобке?

Если есть возможность, установите или CBBE или FG или обычное тело (для теста) или просто отключите 8к тектурыю. Если заработает, то видимо, дело в этом. Хотя, я сомневаюсь. В looksmenu должно быть в любом случае. Включен ли плагин porcPubes.esm? можно еще попробовать файл porcpubesloose.7z, который я приклеплял к одному из комментов выше (2я страница)

Приветствую! Дело оказалось действительно не в текстурах. Я скачивал и устанавливал последний вариант мода в варианте .esl

После установки более раннего варианта, с .esp, всё заработало.

Правда, текстуры всё-равно пришлось переустановить, выбрав бритый вариант лобка, т.к. волосы из вашего мода накладывались на волосы из мода с текстурами кожи. Но ваши много лучше. Спасибо за приятый мод!

И да, присоединяюсь к просьбе выше: сделайте, пожалуйста, рыжий цвет волос. Моя ЖГГ - рыжая, с кучей веснушек, ей нужен рыжий кустик ?

Been using this for awhile now, works great with Fusion Girl. Would you consider an update that adds red/ginger pubic hair colors?

Minor issue with this pubic hair and your overlays...

 

It seems like your txt files aren't encoded properly. I did some digging in f4se.log and it reports these errors for both porcPubes_en.txt and porcOverlays_en.txt:

BOM Error, file must be encoded in UCS-2 LE.

 

Is there anything you can do? The overlays and pubic hair seems to be working properly, but these errors are getting on my nerves.

 

Other than that, thanks for sharing such a great mod! Take care and keep up the great work!

You can open the file in notepad++ and in the encoding menu select  UTF-16 LE BOM then save.

For the esl version, you forgot to change the folder name to match the plugin name (.esl), otherwise you won't find any overlay in looksmenu UI  "F4SE\Plugins\F4EE\Overlays\porcPubes.esl"
Same goes for "porcOverlays.esl".

There is a small issue with the latest version.

 

I run CBBE-3BBB and certain pubes got these 'spots' around their borders. Check the spoiler below:

It's only visible with blond variations of the pubes. It could be because I'm running a skin mod that's pale, or something else?

 

Either way, I didn't notice it with previous version. Any info on what's causing this? Thanks in advance and keep up the great work!

The issue is visible only on blond pubes, but it could be visible on ginger ones as well (haven't tested the ginger ones yet). It isn't visible on all pubes, just some of them.

Also, regarding 3BBB, it shouldn't matter - an overlay is an overlay, and it should look identical on both bodies.

The newest version that has added the red/ginger hair variants seems to also have changed the blonde variants reddish. Is anyone else seeing this or is this just happening for me?

 The number 4 and 5 blonde variants always seemed to have a slight reddish tint which is what I used before the update since I have a ginger PC.

how do this work? does it applies automatically or do i have to apply it manually? does this work with NPC as well?
