Zaki Dirt and Blood Textures for Dirt & Blood & Cum + Racemenu Overlays

Would it be possible to have these directly retexture Dirt and Blood without DBC acting as the middle-man? For some reason I can never get DBC to work. Ever, on an new save, an old save, all of them. I tried copying the textures from this here mod and replacing the Dirt and Blood textures directly with them. It seems to be working, but not without its flaws. For example, I don't think the dirt goes beyond the second stage, and there are some "gaps" those that you see when you have the wrong body mod installed... or something like that. That said, thanks to the Slavetats version, I can manually select the textures myself, but I'd be lying if I said that doesn't break my immersion just a tad. In anycase, thank you for this mod and for yoru time.

I'm planning to although I'd probably have to do them from scratch.

excellent textures Zaki. would you consider upload (female) source file please? PSD or GIMP XCF? very hard to paint good fill for BHUNP gaps when many layer of dirt on dirt.

assume layers in PSD or XCF?

Sorry but I created these in Blender by adding dirt effects until a whole stage was done and then saving it as a PNG. There are no PSD or XCF files that could be edited, just each stage of dirt as a PNG.

It cant get any overlays on hands or face, i enabled overlays for Hands and Face in mcm. Body is working fine but face and hands are problematic. Got free overlay slots on my character. Using slavetats, fast tats and cum overlays extended, idk if its related to them.

Quick question are these supposed to work with NPC's or just the PC? They work great on my character but on NPC's it's the old dirt textures which is a bummer

It seems the textures are player only, so I sat down and made a patch. This seems to apply the correct textures to the right genders. Feel Free to use.

Edit Fixed female blood texture path

You are an absolute hero, it's definitely applying the textures to npc's now. Only downside is with dirt blood and cum if you have the 'apply by npc professions' ticked it seems to apply to everyone (eg followers etc) with 100% chance rather than to specific professions.

The method i used just modified the existing EffectShaders to have a male and female variant, so the hands don't display right and other issues may occur. Npc professions should work, its an identical copy of how it used to work.

Huh, weird, I'll have a play around on a new save, see if that helps. Thanks anyway for making this!

So for some reason I would only get updated textures after dying and having the save load me back in. The other issue I had was that the textures wouldn't play nicely with some of my racemenu overlays, for example CBBE Body Highlight Tattoos, the color would blend and "break through" the dirt texture making it look like my character had huge scrapes/road rash instead of being dirty. Blood worked pretty decent however.

Here's hoping for a regular DnB retexture version, the magic effect works better in my case so I just went back to DnB.

There's a new mod Dirt and Blood Expanded that was released recently. Seems like that one is not fully compatible with this version (animation doesn't play).

Any one got the two to work together, and if not, any chance for a compatibility patch?

Hi, so is there a possibility that someone could make a patch for this mod to work with Dirt and Blood Expanded?

EDIT:

Never mind. I tested it, and it actually works out of the box with Dirt & Blood Expanded (DBE), since that mod already provides a patch for Dirt & Blood & Cum (DBC) to work alongside it.

This textures mod only overwrites 1 script that's exclusive to the DBC main mod (DBC_util.pex).

Whereas the provided patch for DBC to make it work with DBE doesn't actually edit DBC_util.pex in any way, so there's no conflict.

I hope that's not too confusing xD

Anyway, fantastic texture mod, thank you!
