Your greatest fear?

Ever see the movie "A Beautiful Mind"? That movie terrified me.

My greatest fear is that I'll wake up one day in a mental institution and find out that my entire life and everyone I've ever known and loved were purely figments of my imagination and I've just been in a padded room or something similar this whole time.

people that usually survive catastrophes don't let panic overwhelm them

Been there done that, you don't want the Grisly details, Bad.

I'm not saying I'm all that, I just got in a bad way on a job site, cut myself really bad on strapping left exposed when it should have been secured, 250+ stitches, 2 surgeries, 6 months to recover, still don't like talking about it!

I'm hoping you were well compensated at least. I've been lucky in avoiding any serious injury in life so far, but have been in many situations where it could have easily happened if I hadn't stayed focused.

Give you a clue to one; 'Don't look down' ;)

If you call being alive to tell the tale well compensated, then Yeah.

Alone on the Job site, Confined space, halfway down, accident, choices to fall 30 feet, climb 20 feet, climb, then drive approx 3-4 miles to find someone to call an ambulance.                Blood everywhere.

If I had not been focused I would not be here with all you other Survivors!

Losing my girlfriend. She is everything to me, and I can't even think of being without her.
