The single strongest rendering bottleneck Bethbryo has is ram speed. The entire reason enboost exists is ram speed bottlenecking.

 

The higher your RAM bandwidth and faster it pages/caches and flushes, the more responsive the entire engine is... including scripts. Per-frame scripting means the instant you go off frame to frame transitioning because you're hitting regular ram instead of vram, EVERYTHING takes a hit; framerate, frametime, and the amount of drawcalls per parse etc tec blah blah ad infinitum.

Ahh yes the dreaded script choking that happened a lot on old hardware.....

How could I forget that...

Maybe I just got some decent hardware and stopped running into that issue as much.

Moral of the story...

Get good hardware, cant go wrong with getting a big chunky pair of 2x16 32 gig ram kit @ high ram speed....Then overclock that shit to as high as your PC's hardware will allow.

When Skyrim has been created, the hardware has been together with the operation system more older, and more slower.

It also worked well on an i5 for example, with an older gpu, and older RAM. The game, played without enb always has been working very smoothly in graphic-aspects. And then came ENB-support which offered to inject graphical effects-and update by update the parameters for those ENBs got richer. Up to a defining degree is an ENB a welcome supporter for a SLE gameplay which simply results in a better performance with critical graphical content. But I have to say that the latest UPDATES for ENB do not anymor SUIT to SLE because it is not offering the wanted effects because the game can´t simply realize such parameters correctly (this is mostly meant for the reflection-parameter(s)) which are not really worth and suiting to the game, but definitivly comsuming power in a high degree for nothing). Furthermore are relevant updates for the RAM-use of SLE not in every update coming with a better degree of result: Some OLDER versions of optimisations are simply working better, compared with the latest ones. And also finding all this out and comparing the different versions, aside of the promisses of their creators takes often month or years for a BEST performance for the SLE or SSE game itself. This all also depends on your o.s. and on the personal hardware , also at least it can depend on the motherboard itself. Processor and gpu need to have a suiting dimmension with each other.

About RAM-speed I doubt that you will see a difference between some little faster RAM and some little not so fast RAM.***(link on bottom)

More important to set the focus onto the o.s. to get rid about some background tasks which can cause speed-loss, specially win 10 has lot of traffic in even 2D-graphic mode to make the gpu busy for NOTHING. In between the computers are all SMART for a high price. This additional APPS simply also and in between are part of the newer MAC o.s. systems.

A software like SKYRIM or other game-apps simply run aside of all this processes. O.S s in between became FAR to LARGE !!! with too many features/options. If you are no IT expert, the consumers have to use the stuff as is. Administrative work on modern systems are btw made more complicated, the os is simply hiding lot of their parameters in submenues, which can become reached only by spending lot of time and fiddling around in the internet. Not fine, not user freindly and not serious. And at least we get spy-ware with all the new stuff-and lately a hardware-control.

So if some users still use their older stuff and older o.s., they wisely and mostly know, why they do all this.

 

The creation-engine of SLE is a roly poly toy when it comes to stability. Even in the case if the frame frequency is forced down, the engine is not crashing-I have to say that this is a feature which I never saw inside another game. The game can become STRESSED and is not running off into ctd or into a picture-freezing. Perfect for a mod-able game and maybe made specially that way.

Actually, followup question (hopefully that's okay).  I've also seen a few much more "realistic-looking" NSFW gifs/vids recently --- i.e. the dick seems to react directly to the hands, the throat bulges when the cock enters it, cum looks like it comes straight out of the cockhead with all sorts of pulsing and the like, and everything just seems very smooth and intentional and immersive.  It looks almost like they're straight out of 3d-rendered porn rather than Skyrim --- and some/all of them might be.  But I'm wanting to see if there's a list of mods that tie that all together, and make the actual NSFW acts look... well, like they're actually happening.  In my mods I get a lot of clipping, misaligned actors, etc.

 Hand aligning actors, one animation stage at a time. SexLab has a set of hotkeys to move actors in animation. You'll have to it yourself for your specific setup. There are no shortcuts.

That's kind of what I was thinking for that, but is there a way to save those positions?  Does it auto-save?  I'd rather not have to try to adjust the positions every time I enter the same animation.

There is. You can save up to 5 animation profiles. Look through SL MCM.

Thanks, I'll give this a shot.  Like I said, it's entirely possible that what I've been seeing was not actually skyrim-based, they're just gifs or the like that I've seen on this site, so I figured I'd ask.

 

I'm using cumshots, but yeah it's not really what I'm looking for.  tbh as far as that goes I'm looking for something that goes a bit beyond "realistic" in that regard, but I'm still checking things out, lol

There are quite a few mods that are not available to the public it happens all the time for all sorts of reasons.

Most recent example of a mod I would like to have is Grim Sovereign Elf Ears with SMP, looks amazing.

 

Used to have belly budging HDT, not sure if this even works with SMP.

Throats could be a custom SMP rig that someone has done.

Hands reacting to breasts and dicks has been a thing for a while at least I had some custom stuff I rigged that worked with HDT for Legendary Edition but all that stuff got lost last year to a flood.

 

Also video editing is a thing with Skyrim sex video's so really who knows how far that goes.
