It was throwing out that "ClearAlias" function error every time.

Default SexLab did not restrict mods from accessing these functions, but SexLab p+ do. A SLAL pack should not try to access those functions.
MEyahMegusta Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 (edited) How do you customise tags properly? I've noticed tags like doggy etc don't seem to be recognised properly on my end? I tried changing them in SLAL JSONS etc to make more sense but they never seem to be hooked in. It seems to somehow only recognise the absolute original tags associated with the animations. I did a test using Leitos animations and it works without esp, so I'm not actually sure why I can't change catagories at all via tags? Is this likely a p+ error? Also tried using SLATE with no luck on that doing the heavy lifting. Essentially, I am assuming P+ uses something different than just tags? EDIT: Cant set animation categorise and have them work even on regular SL, not a p+ issue. Does anyone have any advice? Edited November 27, 2023 by MEyahMegusta

Well that's the thing actually, SLATE? No dice. By hand? No dice. I can change the tags, but they serve no purpose functionality wise for some reason, they just stay the same. Unless I'm mistaken and tags have nothing to do with where the animation pops up. Also what I mean by "customize tags" essentially to make a very obvious example, I want an oral animation to appear in the list for anal. How would I go about doing that? Oh that's actually exactly the approach I was taking, I considered it hopeless because seemingly nothing worked but you think running Nemesis/FNIS could fix it? So, I decided to try resetting animations/SLAL, which didn't work. "SEXLAB - FATAL - PickModel - Resetting possibly stuck thread - [ss]threadcontroller" I've tried many things, including reinstalling Sexlab, but Sexlab will never restart, which completely breaks all of its functionality. I guess I need to start a new game, but I am getting sick of doing that. I would guess that there's some bad interactions between Baka Defeat, Nights, DD NG, and Sexlab/P+, but I can't be sure.

Someone92 Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 If by "new version" you mean the phase 2 beta from the discord, no. The way SexLab p+ from phase 2 onward will handle animations will be too different from default SexLab for SLSO to be patched. It will have to be re-written from scratch.

MEyahMegusta Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 (edited) As an update, I found an alternative (weak way) to my problem with tagging animations, not what I wanted but it will have to do. But as of now I do have a new curiosity, is there really no way to remove the restriction on the position swapper? E.g. Person A can swap roles with Person B, because of the change that limits it based on race and gender, there's actually a few animations I'm not really able to get logical use out of. Is there a simple patch to simply tweak this small aspect? Seeing as this is going to be the last sort of "Legacy" P+ build that works with older animation packs etc, I feel like it'd be nice to have a patch without any position swap restrictions so as to keep this version very open and functional, of course optional but its just my two cents on this, I'd certainly appreciate it.
