Sites like LL and others (which I obviously won't name) can only get by on the priciple that only the people that frequent it know about it, we're not 4chan or piratebay we can't just keep changing adresses.

hilbo75 Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Not every dev is as weird as Koei Tecmo is about it but also, if a mod creator tells you to take down a video of their own mod then you should probably do so out of respect regardless. Also maybe if a video starts getting super popular you should delete it without being asked lol. I remember Koei Tecmo hit modderchan right after some Ryza mod video was mysteriously showing up in the recommended videos for people who never looked at nude mods. Atelier games in particular walk a fine line between chaste and sexy so they probably didn't like all the attention the nude mods were getting.

Of course publishers doesn't answer, but if it becomes a lot, it will be very burden, it will be a real harm, and they will try to regulate mods to solve it. Modders don't want to burden publishers.
