Right now I don't have any update beyond SAMURAI MAIDEN Update v20230403. Which is the catalog.json I uploaded. So if there's another patch after this date, I don't have it. As I have the seven seas version.

But here's a short and sweet tutorial to do this yourself if you have a different version. Full credit goes to Woofhat. I'm literally just rewriting it. (I need to create a PDF file for this. As I was personally confused by his original post and had to keep reading it several times to understand. That isn't his fault. Just think the instructions could be written just a bit better. As he even SAID to repeat the process of renaming the catalog.json for as many modded files as you have. But I want to rewrite it to make it idiot proof. As again, I was one of the idiots who got confused.

 

Hopefully when I rewrite it properly in a PDF file, there will be no more confusion. As I'll provide pictures with each and every step. Again, FULL credit goes to woofhat. I will also credit him when I make the PDF file. My job is to make something idiot proof. As even I succumb to stupidity. So I tend to write guides with the newbie in mind. If someone comes to this forum, with no prior experience, my "rewrite" will be tailored to them.

 

Download the tools mentioned in this post : (AddressableTools from the github and woofhat's crc.cmd)

Make sure you have all the .bundle files from Para's mods. There should be a total of 5. you don't need his "base body."

The file names are as follows : (NOTE BACK THESE UP INSIDE YOUR GAME FOLDER TOO. AS these are modified files. NOT unique files.)

duplicateassetisolation2_assets_assets_app_rawdata_characters_models_mod_cstm_01_tumu_10.fbx.bundle

duplicateassetisolation2_assets_assets_app_rawdata_characters_models_mod_cstm_31_sayo_10.fbx.bundle

duplicateassetisolation2_assets_assets_app_rawdata_characters_models_mod_cstm_31_sayo_20.fbx.bundle

duplicateassetisolation2_assets_assets_app_rawdata_characters_models_mod_cstm_32_rinn_10.fbx.bundle

duplicateassetisolation2_assets_assets_app_rawdata_characters_models_mod_cstm_33_meii_10.fbx.bundle

 

Put the tools above and those files into one folder. I called mine CatalogJSON

Put the original catalog.json in that folder.

MAKE a backup of that catalog.json - call it catalog.json.orig

Make sure that origional file is in a seperate folder inside this directory. (Label it backup)

Keep catalog.json (the one you will use for this procedure) in the main directory from earlier.

Run crc.cmd.

Right click the first .bundle file, and hit rename.

Copy the ENTIRE file name of that .bundle file INCLUDING the .bundle.

Paste that into the crc.cmd prompt.

After a few seconds it should close and spit out a PATCHED catalog.json.

RENAME that patched catalog.json into catalog.json.

Redo the steps of taking the file names of each new .bundle file and inputting them into the crc.cmd.

AFTER EVERY single time you have created a new patched catalog.json file, MAKE SURE you rename it back to catalog.json. As you are using EACH .bundle file to patch it. If you do not constantly rename that patched file into catalog.json, you will mess up the file.

 

After you have done this process for ALL the .bundle files, take that final patched catalog.json file, rename it to catalog.json for the final time and put it into the correct directory for the game. Replacing the original, untouched catalog.json file.

 

Note : If at any point your game crashes as you didn't do the steps correctly, or mods aren't showing up, start it over again using the catalog.json file you put in the backup folder. This is why it's backed up.

 

But always keep a backup of the original catalog.json. You can copy and paste it from the backup folder into the main working directory. Otherwise, you will have to verify game files to recover it.

HAVE USE many time and its not working so that i'm gonna avoid that patch solution after trying 20 time thats just crash my game and  there a new update on steam look yourself patch version.20230404/

beside i'm using crack version after ask for refund on steam changed mind this game is a bare bones bull shit pc port no need to patch that shit the ps5 sttrugle to make it work as well there no graphique option in game menu fucking hell after making bullet girl good port the devs just die with this game .

EDIT: I just tested the build you linked WITH the catalog.json I patched. Game works no problem. Are you using the mods the catalog.json is patched for? That site literally just changed the date of the build. So it is the official steam release 20230403 aka  build ID 10916009 otherwise my file wouldn't work. The catalog.json is patched for Para's mods.

you get me wrong the mods work fine but not the parapara one as they give texture error so maybe the catalog.json no need to mods this bare bones piece of crap anyway.

geez...Gaming is used to make people happy, and mods sometimes make the happiness even much more. People who spend their precious time making mods and release them are respectable. They deserve respection and recognition. BE GOOD, PEOPLE.

how does crc work, i try everything to open the program and drag catalog.json to it, but the program will not work to created the bundle, can any one help me. please somebody place bundle file here

It's been a while since I made the mod but I think you just need to replace the files in the original mod with the edit I made.

I was trying to follow the 3Dmigoto modding method in here

 

 

And tried to delete clothes texture of Kenshin, which succeed, but the thing is her body inside is hollowed (her clothes texture hash is 2e791e44 and her body texture hash is 03c0e7cc)

I would want to add a proper nude body in place of incomplete hollowed body, but I don't know if there is a way to insert something like that with 3Dmigoto. Could someone guide or takeover my attempt?

 

BTW here is the attempted file, it's put in mods folder as usual

I put this in the mods folder, but I still get a fully clothed Kenshin. Any idea what I'm missing?

Oh sorry, I forgot to edit the file. The file 2e791e44-BC7_UNORM_SRGB_edit.png inside that has to be edited with photo editing tool to erase everything inside it and leave it an empty transparent page PNG to show that Kenshin hollowed body. Still, it was a failure cause the hollowed body as mentioned. I would be happy if someone can took over my attempt and replace it with naked body, like how parapara can filled the hollowed Iyo hip with skin textures. 

 

I actually should just edit the clothes texture (the 2e791e44-BC7_UNORM_SRGB_edit.png) to leave the gauntlets and boots on too, but I'm bad with editing textures and trying to match it with in-game model, and I don't have any knowledges of UV or depth stuff whatsover that could make this easier, I'm sorry.

I'm a Japanese guy who came into this area when the sale came.

Even if I install the nude mod, a texture bug occurs, but I would like to know how to fix it.

The mod here only works with the "Uniform (White)" and "Matching Uniform (White)". The other outfits/colors have a different mesh/hash for replacing.
