Just thought I'd throw a nice screeny I took of my current character. I started over to try Naked Defeat and some of the other stuff that's been suggested here.

Still on the fence about ND as it takes soooo long to start a scene. Really nice when it does though.

ScreenShot0.png

About the delay.  The console button is your friend.  Just part of it.  Once I'm down, Few seconds, console button for a few seconds, should be fine.  For most any stage really.  Just a lot going on.  Forgot to mention.   Author says that it allows scripts to run quickly and get caught up.

NICE PC.  And the outfit.  A redhead, would not have guessed that.  (giggle)

Her hair is kinda pinkish but in that particular light it did come out more red.  I didn't even plan that moment but instantly hit the screenshot key when she looked at the camera heehee.

As for Naked Defeat, I think I may be done with it, as it's just not functioning right. I tried opening the console, tried waiting a long time, it just seems to get stuck at the point where my character is prone and all the enemies just go back to sandboxing, ignoring me. If I abort the scene (Ctrl + Alt + K) my character gets up and is able to move again, but now no one is hostile and I can kill them without them ever fighting back. This applies not just to that group but any future thing that is supposed to be hostile.

I think it may have glitched out early as my first encounter worked well, but then I got into town and got a message I was being arrested. My character went into surrender pose, a guard took my weapons and then I went prone... after which everyone ignored me. Before that point I kept gettign updates about my 'exposure', which was at zero until I took my clothes off briefly to inspect my girl's body, making sure bodyslides, physics etc were working. After putting clothes on suddenly I still had exposure, which caused the arrest that lead to the mod never working again. :(

I'm sorry it didn't work out.  Standard defeat sound simpler and flawless.  I just want to have a few of the other features.  I guess I have leanred to put up with the delays.  I haven't had any of the issues you have.  Once I crawl away and hit the "k"  to stand up, I'm instantly attacked if close.  OH, the challenges of modding.  Ms. Pinky

EDIT:  I don't use the public punishment all the time.   Just in the beginning when I come to a city.  Deactivate it after that.  Activates too much based on my settings.  I've not been arrested either.  So  thanks for the warning if I do.  I'll watch for it.  I focus on the Defeat aspect but seems it does conflict with some things.   Stripping is fun and I love the whipping although I set the chance lower.  Message sometime about Baka Defeat.  Maybe should think simpler instead of ND.   Who knows.

The delay and not starting with ND makes me think you might be missing that you have to hit "k" to initiate the scene.  When you get downed, you get the opportunity to reposition yourself (to minimize clipping through terrain/objects).  Move to a nice flat spot (crawling if not disabled), then hit "K".  That triggers the event start... Unless you're doing that, and something else is wonky.  :(

Oh, and cutie screenshot.  :)

So when I get downed, do I have to hit K to start crawling? The first time I had the mod trigger, I thought I got into the crawling position automatically and didn't have to hit K until I was in a good spot and ready to go.

After that first time I never even got to the crawling segment... my char would just sit there unable to do anything. Also I thiiiink I must have hit K while sitting there because I was trying everything to get the mod to wake up. The only thing that ever worked was Ctrl + Alt + K.

I might give this another try without the public punishment stuff going and see if it works out better.

In case it is a config problem - I'm attaching my saved config profile.  It's packaged as a mod so you can just install to overwrite your ND install.  Load up "profile 1" from the first MCM page.

My profile is pretty simplistic, no public punishment - just set up for defeats really.

As for start up time, mine isn't more than a little slower from other defeat mods, except for the manual start aspect.  Just the gathering stuff as it pulls actors from the area (rather than ONLY those in combat).

After you are "killed" or put "down", there is a delay.  You should see text top left that says they are deciding what to do or who goes first.  If there is a delay at this point, hit your console key.  Few seconds.  You should go to a crawl position at that point.  This is when you crawl to a location where you will be "punished".  Hit the K key to start the punishment.  Normally sex is the punishment, at least once but can be more than once and can include whipping afterwards or strapped to furniture afterwards.  Wiggle to get free from furniture.  Not simple as it will shock you until you finally get the indication in text you can wiggle free.  There is an option to not see any text which causes new users to not understand what is happening.  I always enable the text.  I would say normal rounds of wiggling from furniture (escape game) for me is 6 but up to 10 or more.  Sometimes, they remove you and more sex and it starts over.  K is alwasy the action key.

K doesn't start the crawling, K stops the crawling,  when you have found the spot for punishment.  K is then used after you wiggle free and escape to stand your PC back up and the game starts again.  It has worked without exception with the new version for me.  Public punishment is a nice feature for limited use to me.  When I go to town, I usually have things to do and don't want too  many interruptions but once or twice feels ok and I disable it.  Settings are important.  May set it to only go off for sprinting, or being weaponless.  I run all the time so I disable that feature.  Being cum covered is an issue as I have a lengthy setting on it and I'm always raped in the wilds by creatures and passersby.

Make sure you have 4.8 full,  4.81 and 4.91 patch. in that order.

After you try the escape game, (tells you in text top left when to hit the wiggle key "K" i.e. try again or similar) if you don't like the furniture, shock, whipping, you can disable the escape game.  Defeat, sex, release.  or slavery, or taken to an inn depending on your settings.  It works so well with the new patch, I like the shocking thing.  Some hate it.

Regarding Babo Dialogue - A PM discussion regarding the latest version may be in order.  Not sure the latest is on LL.  Anyway, the bandits are super tanky.  Tougher than most boss fights.  Designed to defeat you.  Better run or ignore early on.   One scenario they rape you than tie you to furniture in the wild.  Just leave you.  Eventually a passerby will arrive.  Sometimes they simply rape you again and leave you again until one will come by and release you.

EDIT:  Just checked the ND page.  The author is active and responding to comments.  From Sunday, here is a quote "you have to press K always to end crawling (at start and beginning of the scenario).
Changed it because the automated timer was too buggy in papyrus"

Thank you for this! I will give the mod another go with these settings and report back... probably tomorrow if I'm to guess. I probably should have realized I shouldn't continue after that public punishment went so poorly in my game.

The way you described things is more or less how they went for me the first time Naked Defeat went active.

I ran into a group of Draugr and skeletons who easily defeated me because Skyrim Unbound had put me in the far north with only clothes, a steel dagger and no magic. That mod can be a cruel mistress sometimes but that's what I love about it... pretty much anything can happen and I create stories in my head to rationalize why my character is in this position.

I had to wait around for a bit and was starting to get a liiiittle worries when finally I went into crawling mode and since I was on a slope, crawled to the top where the baddies were more or less hanging around at anyways. I hit K and the festivities commenced!

There weren't many sex scenes... only like 2 as far as I remember, but then I was hogtied and left to my fate for a while, where I started struggling with a 1% chance to escape 😧 which I resolved to change in the MCM later (I couldn't actually find where that was set anywhere). I struggled a bit, got shocked, raised my chances and got whipped once before one of the skeletons decided to come over and have fun again.

This time I was tied to a tree, and the mod announced I now had a 5% chance to escape with chances increasing by 5% every time. With these odds I was able to wriggle free after a few tries and ran for my life, nekkid into the snow. I was generally happy how things went but kinda worried about it taking so long every time, hoping I could speed things up juuuust a bit.

Then the town thing happened and it was forever broke. :(

So if you prefer to generally have quicker encounters, there is an option for "fast defeat" or "quick defeat" or similar that you can increase.  You can also change the rate at which you are tied up after an event - down to 0% if you just don't wanna.  There are quite a few options to make it more or less involved, or varied depending on how you'd like to roll.  Just starting out with it though, it can be a bit much until you figure out how you'd like to do things.  :)

In my profile config, the struggle chance is maxed.  Each event still has variation though, simulating that sometimes you're bound tighter than others.

I do hope you can have a better experience.  Used it so long, It's like a must have for me.  And thanks for the Skyrim Unbound comment.  Never even heard of that mod.  Alternate Perspective is a nightmare to get the main quest started. Took me 8 tries just to get Alduin to show up.

I'm not sure how I feel starting a game without my preferred armor and spells.  You are a tough girl to try a vanilla start like that.  Thought modding meant we didn't have to. Ha.  Not sure I can do that.  P..ed my panties more than once when I originally started trying this game in vanilla.  Shook all the time.  Ms. Scared.  But if you can, maybe I can.  Thanks again.

I did set some chance of "fast defeat" as I recall, but likely would have upped it a bit over time if things hadn't gone so off the rails. I will match everything in your config to start when I have another go at it, then adjust as I go assuming things work a bit better.

I got a kick out of Alternate Perspective as it allowed me to watch the vanilla start without being the one getting her head chopped off eheh... it was a fun little thing but ultimately the I didn't like many of the starting choices, so usually ended up starting the same way (in Helgen). I'm quite the creature of habit.

Skyrim Unbound is as random or not-random as you decide... you can set everything you want (spells, equipment, starting location, even whether or not you are Dragonborn) and then set as much to random as you can stand. I have gone through phases where I want something specific to happen, but nowadays I use AddItemMenu to add equipment if there's reeeaally something I wanna play with. Ultimately my fun comes from getting put in the wildest situations and having to work my way out of them.

In my last character's case (the dunmer I showed a pic of), she started in a random ice cave waaaay north of Winterhold, locked inside a cage with another prisoner, a Frost Atronach standing guard and with nothing but a steel dagger and fine clothes to my name. The Atronach went hostile when I picked the lock, but I was able to run out of the cave where there were... a huge horde of more Frost Atronachs. Thankfully there were also some raiders celebrating their latest haul (added by Troubles of Heroine, same as the prisoner in the cage) who did most of the Atronach-killing and allowed me to flee... right into the skelies and draugr who became my first abusers. :)

I love Skyrim Unbound.

If you guys enjoy adding additional variety, I recommend Demonic Creatures mod.  It adds a LOT of different creatures, generally loreish friendly, as well as lots of general critters (ducks, geese, squirrels, hummingbirds!, etc), creature framework/sexlab friendly.  Adds not only variety, but difficulty.  Has things like evening patrol spawns of powerful creatures on raids.  Provides alternate spawns of your normal spawn locations.

I've used it for quite a while and really miss it when I randomly pull it for various testings of load orders.

@Bigglsby @Miss Tee

I guess I have to apologize a lil here...

Naked Defeat is actually pretty amazing! Now that it's working correctly, which it seems to be. I've gone through a few defeat scenarios at this point, both with humans and creatures, and everything is handled flawlessly other than having to open the console every time after pressing 'K' to signify that I'm done crawling (both before the rape scene and when I'm escaping). Not a huge deal of course but I hope if the mod keeps getting worked on they'll sort out what all that lag is about!

I think the only thing I'm not sure about is the Critical Defeat, which seems to trigger waaay more often than the percentages might indicate. I love the stripping mechanic but even with surrender chance set to 5% (naked chance set to zero additional) it still seems to happen pretty easily. Might remove it but I'm gonna give it some time.

So... sorry about all the complaining before and being down on the mod when I really should have recognized something had gone wrong earlier and back-tracked. I'm gonna keep using ND for a while!

@Rey_Vegeta Naked Defeat and Baka Defeat do a lot of the same things, but they also do some different things so I believe, for example, if you wanted to only use Baka Defeat for the 'player/follower aggressor' stuff, it wouldn't conflict with ND which has none of that. But don't have them both triggering player victim stuff or things will likely go extreme haywire.

Just woke up and first thing I get to do is talk about mods.  Priceless......

So pleased to hear ND is working for you.  Most comments on the ND site mention the delay.  The current setup is much faster than I've ever seen.  I deal with it.  Slows my game some but I get into the delays as the bad guys are licking their lips over me and thinking about what to do.  I do play a slower game.  "Much slower"so it seems to work for me.  Level 34 and haven't done a single main quest.  First stage on 3 but nothing else.  Just enjoy running around.

I agree about the critical defeat.  I use the stripping.  All the time.  I don't use the critical defeat until I start getting too strong.  late game.  Otherwise, defeat stops happening the longer I play.  I can always surrender at any combat to enjoy some "we" time as well.  Tried the random defeat when drinking a potion.  Ehh.  not so much.. Prefer somewhat lore friendly causes.

There is a beta feature that my brain cannot  understand but relates to armor being destroyed when stripped.  Select light, heavy, and cloth outfits you want to wear in game.  Somehow save them to the ND file.  Then when in combat and get stripped, your armor is destroyed.  Gone.  To replace it you have to pick up any random armor of the type you were wearing and at a cost, it will change to the exact piece  you lost.  Smithing is involved I think.  Septims as well.  That way, you always have your preferred outfits but some delays as you have to work to replace them.  Stripping - I just like getting naked in a fight the longer it goes on.  I have a mod that makes bad guys talk sexy to me in a fight and there are more and more comments the less I wear.

Funny stripper story:  Traveling with Remiel (dwemer follower) - Get in a fight with a guy with stripper swords.  Remi charges in the way and gets stripped.  (NOTE:  Baka did something with Babo Dialogue.  Most followers won't become hostile to BD actors and will just stand there while I'm getting my bottom spanked.) After the combat, I recover my outfit pieces from the stripper but Remi's outfit is not there.  It was her default outfit.  Not sure why.  Anyway, I don't have her outfit loaded as a mod so I can't AIM it.  Plus she won't put on what I am giving her.  Sooooo, naked follower for a while.

Virtual pop on the bottom for thinking that you were complaining.  This is modding.  Everyone here is learning, trying to find the game they like.  We all learn on every comment.  Please don't stop giving feedback.

@Rey_Vegeta brings up a great point about the dual Defeat mods and their ability to work together.  I loaded Baka Defeat for this purpose a few times thinking I will enjoy the domination/aggressor role.  I never actually do it and realize I just can't so I remove it.  Great point though.  I'll stay with ND.  We can both complain or praise now.

For me, pick mods that have features you like but also have some flexibility so you can play the game when you want without too much interference.  (big hug)

Ya I've ended up turning off the Critical Defeat stuff... even setting it super low the surrender kept triggering, so I'm happy with getting stripped in a fight but not giving up until I have zero health.

I've played with the Public Punishment stuff some more and it actually seems to be working fine now... not sure what happened that one time that made it go haywire, but I've gone through several punishments no problem! 😲 I'm glad it's not broke of course, but I think I'll be turning it off again... just triggers way too often, even with the grace periods the system gives before another punishment can happen.

One other thing I'm wondering about... some of the furnitures that my girl gets put into change her body dramatically, which is weird. Some are fine but others make her have ginormous boobs and hips which then cause her to clip through her outfits. Everything goes back to normal afterwards, but I feel as if something maybe didn't build correctly in Bodyslide and can't really find more than a couple ZAP items to build (certainly no furniture).

Anyone else see that?

Edit:

P.S. If you're trying to deter me from something, spankings are NOT the way. 😍

First:  For possible causes of slowdown -  I can't say I've experienced what you guys do with slowdown at start.  It COULD be hardware, but I think it's more likely to be papyrus (which seems to be more likely bottleneck than even moderate hardware).  Open up your PapyrusTweaks.ini from Papyrus Tweaks NG.  There are a couple of settings which may help your script speed:

iMaxOpsPerFrame = 1500   (1500 is what I have mine set to.  Used to have it at 900 and never had issues, but bumped it up anyway)

   and further down

bSpeedUpNativeCalls = true   (listed under experimental, but has been proven for a while that it can be considered stable and reliable)

For ZAP stuff - be sure to get the appropriate body slide files -

ZaZ Animation Pack+ CBBE HDT V.8.0+SE2023

and there is a second bodyslide/fix

  ZAZ_Accessories_CBBE_SE_3BA_BS_Fix

I have those and build appropriate in bodyslide - don't have any of the incorrect body stuff going on anymore.

I'd link direct, but just taking a quick break for lunch.  :)

Sounds like it is getting better overall and Critical Defeat.  Agree.  There should be a hotkey setting for public punishment.  I normally allow a few rounds and then hotkey.  Just to set the tone in the city.

Not experienced the Zap booby thing in a while.  And never with furniture.  Used to have a major problem with the rope torture devices doing it to my PC.  Will use @Bigglsby's suggested zap 3ba bodyslide.  Should address it.  TY Bigglsby...

The rest of your post is nice information to hold onto.   😋

So uhh... this is awkward.

I did have Papyrus Tweaks NG installed, but there was no .ini in it at all. So it prolly wasn't doing much, huh? 😑

Well, now I have the file and changed is as you suggested to see what happens.  Already I didn't consider Naked Defeat to be slow, really... other than having to open the console to kick-start post-crawling events, everything did seem pretty peppy. Maybe it'll be even better!

I tried looking for bodyslide files for the ZaZ animation pack but didn't find anything definitive... it looks like there are a few here and there posted by people inside mod threads, but not an actual mod someone made and posted where it's easy to find. I downladed one which I hope will work with the pack I have, and will try it a bit later.

Yeah, the fix I mentioned was in the thread.  Several mods have various fixes/updates within the thread as they are often supported by non-thread owners (so they can't put in the download section).  I still have the installer that I've been using, but since it's not mine I am hesitant to post it.  Let me know if you want it, and I'll PM it to whoever needs it.  I'd hate to have to slog through to find it again for a proper link.  :)

Another thing I thought about for "slow start".  If you are waiting for the message to direct you to find a place and hit "K", that is not necessary.  The message scroll comes with a stack of delayed messages (for readability).  But really, once your character drops on 4, you're clear to find your spot and start.  I swear I've had scenes start before the "hit K" message pops up.  :)

Naked Defeat is a sustitute for Baka Defeat or both mods go along?

My setting is a mix of Aylis and STEP. I play without parallax.

Naked Defeat is one of many defeat options (of which Baka Defeat is another).  As a general rule, it's a bad idea to mix defeat mods - and absolutely don't use multiple mods flagging your character as essential... as I understand, they basically will cancel each other out and everything goes haywire.

Naked Defeat has lots of options though, and depending on how you configure things, it CAN technically be mixed with other defeat mods.  For example:  Naked Defeat can be used not as a defeat mod, but as a simple slavery outcome, and a punishment mod (basically all defeat mechanics are disabled).  Or have defeat on strip/critical events, but not on bleedout.  But for me, it's still playing with fire and would recommend to keep it to one defeat style mod for...safety?  :)

I have seen reference to people having them meshed together, so I know it's possible.  Just be aware going in that things can get messy until it gets tuned right.

I wouldn't mind a link through DM if it's buried somewhere and difficult to find. It's kind of unfortunate how often this happens where mod authors go AWOL and others fix the mod for them but there's no central place to stick these fixes and updates.

I did notice how the ND messages can get behind for sure, especially if a lot is happening all at once, but I've been patient in waiting for things to start after I got to a place and pressed 'K' only to then open the console, count to 3 slowly, then close it and have everything kick off. But it really only seems to be that specific transition that has trouble for some reason.
